A scam is happening where bots send fake streams to random artists on Spotify. After that, Spotify bans or penalizes those artists. This is not okay.

Is there any way to take legal action against those responsible? If so, I’m willing to do it — because we ended up having to pay Spotify because of this scam.

We never used any kind of promotion services for Spotify. These scammers randomly sent fake streams to five of our old songs just to promote their own service.

We reported this to our distributor and to Spotify, but we didn’t receive any help.

These same three websites have done this over and over again.

I forgot to mention this earlier — there are three websites involved. They all have the same interface and the same scam. It looks like one company or person is running all three of them. I’ll list the websites here. They generate fake streams to our songs using a playlist, and then they delete the playlist afterward — possibly to hide evidence or avoid detection.

We contacted all three websites, but the email addresses listed on them are not working. Kindly report this scam site to the appropriate authorities.

Added one of my songs to a botted playlist without my consent and without any previous contact whatsoever. Botted playlists violate Spotify's terms and conditions. This fraudulent behavior puts artists at risk of being removed from Spotify. Stay away from this...umm...company, report them immediately to Spotify.

We‘ve been added to their playlist without any consent of us. We were very surprised since we did not have any contact nor contract.

I have been added to one of their playlists without any request or my consent. On their website they claim they provide "authentic engagement" and "genuine fans only", but it's clear that the playlists are botted. I have contacted them through their Instagram page to ask removal but no answer received. These playlists can get your tracks removed from the stores.

Soidz put me on one of their Spotify playlists without my permission. They have been confirmed by Spotify that they are botting which puts my artist profile at risk. Do not use this service or if they put you on their playlists, report them immediately.

They added my song to their botted playlist. I sent a ticket to Spotify. I hope I don't have any problems.

These guys keep adding my songs to their botted playlist and after having begged them to remove them, they now added me back to a different botted playlist they created. It's a pain getting rid of them.

They have added one of my songs on their botted playlist. I never asked that or payed for that. Now I risk to have my artist profile to be taken down.

They put me on a bottled playlist. Fake streams. I didn't even approach them for a service they did it beyond my control

I got added to a botted playlist by them called "SOIDZ.COM - NEW SEASON HITS"
