Not possible to get in contact with company after rental
The rental itself and also the delivery of the car was effortless. However I am still missing my deposit after 3 months and no answer on email and webpage is down.

Lovely staff. No issues with pick up and drop off.

Haben das Auto unbeschädigt und gereinigt zurückgeben. Es wird ohne Nennung von Gründen die Kaution nicht retour gebucht. Auf Emails und WhatsApp Nachrichten wird nicht geantwortet. Am Telefon wird uns immer gesagt, dass wir zurückgerufen werden, aber keiner ruft an.

I would not recommend using this company. The vehicle that I was provided with was old and in poor condition. It broke down twice whilst I had it, both times the company were unhelpful stating that it was my fault that the battery was flat (which it was not). The engineer who came out was apologetic and embarrassed by the way the company deals with customer issues. I would never use this company again, nor would I recommend that anyone else does either. I waited before leaving a review until I received my deposit back, although they did withhold some of it for no justifiable reason. I am at a loss to understand how they are still trading.

We rent 3 cars in Malaga by Solauto and were satisfied about the service.
It is a little bit searching for the place where we could get the car, but they sent us an app with a movie how to walk and then it was easy.
The car is not new, but that didn't matter to us.
Everything worked and it was allowed that everybody may drive the car.
Within a few days the deposit was refunded to our credit card.
Our experience was friendly, easygoing staff.
Not a single negative experience with solauto.

Avoid any dealings with this company like the plague!! I booked a Mini Cabrio for collection from Malaga Airport on 23 May 2022. When it arrived it was filthy both inside and out, the faux leather seats were ingrained with filth and the whole car looked like it should be in a scrap yard.

My initial impression of the vehicle was compounded when the driver attempted to activate the Cabrio roof, the roof opened only fifteen inches before it stopped and quite literally fell apart. I demanded a refund of the 1000 Euros I paid but getting that proved to be extremely difficult both the driver and his manager claimed they could not refund my money on the card machines in their possession and made to leave with 1000 Euros of my money, leaving me with no vehicle and 1000 Euros lighter. It was only when fisticuffs almost occurred did the manager miraculously manage to refund my money. YOU HAVE BEEN WARNEDAVOID THIS COMPANY AT ALL COSTS>

,.this is not a good company. We had a car for 10 days and the cars fuel gauge did not work so while it read half a tank we had no petrol, we were left without a car for 2 days,and got no apology or refund, rubbish company.

First of all they rented a car with no ITV in Spain - this meant we was then pulled over by the Guardia Civil and fined! next the car broke down and this happened 4 times and we had to have the car changed each time.

We thought as this was the middle of summer and things happen we would then use them again - biggest mistake ever made - we went to collect the car and there was chunks missing from the tires, none of the safety equipment required by Spanish law. They told us they have nothing else and that we would have to wat 5 hours for them to get another car. We waited as they said they can only get a manual and we would have a free extra day so we could then return it on the Friday. Low and behold we get a text saying we have to return the car earlier as they had messed up and te car was booked for someone else! not only was we downgraded to a car which was €70 cheaper we also lost 5 hours from the start of the rental. They refused to refund the fuel we just added as we was told we had an extra day so that was another €20.

When asking for a refund of this amount they refused and offered a refund of what the difference would have been on the day which is always inflated prices. So we had to walk away with a refund of €40 rather than the expected €90. They also refused the complaints book which is illegal in Andalusia.

The agent we dealt with in the location is called Eva - she is very very nice to your face but is a complete keyboard warrior and loves slamming things on desks and shouting at you when she is in the firing line. Also called the police on us to the desk which never arrived.

I for one would never rent with them again and if they cant even get a single one star review I probably should have thought twice about using them in the past!

I rented a car in the beginning of November. They still haven't returned the 200 euro deposit that I paid.

Sol auto have still not returned the deposit of £200 euros.
Car returned and checked end of March 2019.
Lots of excuses about problems with the office,all untrue.
They dont do this to everyone because they are trying to keep customers from finding out.Looks like about 30% of customers.

STAY AWAY FROM THIS COMPANY! It does not return the deposit! After returning the car, the contact stops and the deposit is not refunded!

The rental itself was fine, but 6 weeks on, I have still not received my €700 deposit. Countless emails and a load of flannel about a malfunctioning credit card machine and then weeks of waiting for an elusive payment into my bank, which to be honest was never going to happen. I've now taken it up with my credit card company. Not a satisfactory way to treat customers. I'd recommend paying a bit more and going with a more reputable company in the future.

Cheap car rent either from Malaga airport or from their officers in 3-4 towns going North from airport including Malaga city and up to Nerje.

A little problem with a service worker at their office in Torrox-Costa - she was impatient . Her explanation - and the added schema where to deliever the car at airport - was very poor and bad and costed me more than 1 hour at airport! - even though the company on telephone tried to help.
