[solidcore] Avis 3

I've been a fairly regular client of solidcore for four years so I clearly find the workout helpful. However, its app is bad, and customer service is WORSE. Their billing system has a significant flaw: it allows clients to join a waitlist, and be added to a class, even when they have zero remaining credits.

In my case, I was automatically moved from the waitlist into a class with less than an hour and a half of notice. By the time I realized I had been added, it was already too late to cancel without incurring a fine. When I pointed out that the system should never have moved me into a paid spot if I didn't have the credits to cover it, the response from management was essentially "it’s your responsibility to check."

It is unreasonable to hold a client liable for a system flaw that fails to verify payment/credits at the time of booking. Instead of acknowledging the lack of logic in their booking software, they doubled down on their "policies." I have updated my payment method just to stop the back-and-forth emails, but I will not return once I use up my credits. If you value transparent billing and a system that actually protects the user from accidental charges, look elsewhere.

Such a shady company. I worked hard build up my membership rewards points to take free classes after the new year and after I recovered from cancer, only for them to take the entire program away without proper notice at the end of December.

Not to mention their app never works always glitchy and if you go to the Apple Store several people complain about how poorly made their app is but they still don’t respond to anyone requesting app help, nor do anything about it instead, they continue to take away rewards points and programs for the current members that are what drives the bread and butter of their business.

If I had to review the company solely based on the coaches and the effectiveness of the work out, I would give it a five out of five, but the company has a whole with all the issues they have, and how they directly handle them with their customers, they 0-1 out of 5, so their average rating is noted, respectively

Mixed reviews / experience. Enjoyed the at hoke workouts but felt the in studio experience to be not as 1-1 high touch 😞
