Some Single Thing Avis 

Imagine if there was a room full of the opposite sex, where everyone was single, and you could have a chat with any of them in a safe, relaxed environment? Well, Some Single Thing have nailed that! Great way to get out and actually meet people. Dating apps are longgg - it’s so much nicer to just weigh up the vibe and connection with someone face to face - you might actually surprise yourself, I know I did. Definitely recommend!

I went to the professional Hindu and Sikh mix and mingle event in St Paul’s Slug and Lettuce on 23rd March 2023. The wrist band is a great idea to allocate age ranges. It was a relaxed atmosphere to mingle and chat with new people. Very well organised by the team and will be going along to the next one in London! Added bonus found my padlock buddy within the first 10 minutes and won a gift voucher! Highly recommend these events!

It was really well attended and there was a good mix of women and men.

Thanks for arranging the event. It does take a lot of effort.
In the future best to consider

1) Venue was a bit squashed for the numbers
2 ) A lot more men than females (females commented as well)

A well organised event. It ran on time and numbers were as even as they could be. Playing jenga and having ice breaker questions definitely helped create much better conversation. It's great to see an event targeted at the upper age limit. Keep doing what you are doing

The Some Single Thing events are a great and fun way to try something different/new. The hosts are welcoming and fun, and the venue was a great choice for the evening.

Was a great event, especially for me as this was the first speed dating event. The jenga game made less daunting to start a conversation.
I was ready to give my connect card to someone but unfortunately they left before I got the courage to give it.

Glad SomeSingleThing took on board feedback from a previous event This was a more spacious venue and the host and her team were visible. I would say that ice breakers such as a team quiz or games would be great next time. This would give everyone an opportunity to talk to the guests who attend.

Great event for singles to meet. The speed date itself was an experience and each date lasted 3-4 minutes. Definitely worth it and would recommend to others.

Had fourteen speed dates during the evening. Dates were 3-5 minutes each. Lots of chats with opposite sex individuals. Lucky to have made many new friends. Hopeful of my prospects. Nice location that was easy to get to. Friendly and accommodating hosts. Happy with the experience.
