Professional, Reliable and Listening Organization
From making the appointment they gather information relating to the issues. Even when not possible to see the same consultant the team have taken the time to read the previous notes. They listen to the issues from a patients perspective and a thorough check up is undertaken.

I feel very disappointed in my visit
I feel very disappointed in my visit , last week . I paid £290 and I was hoping for a diagnosis on my problem. Dr Hodder didn’t know what my problem was and said he would write to my doctor and me with his thoughts . He hasn’t done so. I’m a pensioner and a widow and I feel very unhappy about having wasted my money

We appreciate how frustrating it can be when a clear diagnosis is not immediately available, particularly when symptoms have been causing significant discomfort. During your consultation, a detailed assessment was carried out, including a review of your medical history, current symptoms, examination findings, and discussion of potential causes and next steps.
We would also like to clarify that the clinic letter had been prepared and was awaiting final approval before being sent to both you and your GP. As your appointment took place within a week of your review, this falls within our normal processing timeframe.
We are disappointed to receive such a low rating given the time and care invested in your consultation and the comprehensive plan that was put in place. However, we take all feedback seriously and regret that your experience did not meet your expectations.

I had a consultation with Dr Alice Plant confirming a couple of facial BCC and also a full body skin check, then minor surgery with Dr Julia Martin and 2 PDT sessions with Nurse Nikki Woodward. All very friendly and efficient, and at all times informative. Highly recommended.

Professional care fro start to finish
My wife recently attended Southface Dermatology in Christchurch to have a seborrhoeic keratosis removed by Dr Helen Robertshaw using cryosurgery.
Dr Robertshaw was professional, knowledgeable, reassuring and very approachable throughout. She took the time to explain everything clearly and made the procedure straightforward and stress-free.
The clinic itself is beautifully presented, and all of the staff we encountered were friendly, welcoming and helpful.
An excellent experience from start to finish. Highly recommended.

Skin check
I had a skin check by Nurse Nicki. I’m pleased to say all was well.
She was Friendly professional and knowledgeable. For peace of mind, I would recommend anybody particularly if they are fair skined , goes and has a check up.

Red patches on Face
I have some red patches on my face and had a skin cancer concern so i booked an appointment with Nurse Nicky she was very thorough and informative. Fortunately they were only sun damage so Nicky wrote me a letter to pass to my doctor so i can get treatment.

Treatment for Pyogenic Granuloma
I was recently diagnosed with a Pyogenic Granuloma by my GP, which was quite a nuisance. I didn’t want to wait too long to have it removed so I phoned SOUTHFACE. The receptionist was very helpful and I had a consultation with Dr Luna a few days later and she was very knowledgeable and helpful. I was able to get an appointment the next day with Dr Martin to have it removed. She was excellent too and all went well, everything was clearly explained and I felt cared for. I would not hesitate to recommend SOUTHFACE
