South West Survival Avis 

We had an absolutely brilliant experience with Steve and the South West Survival team at our summer camp.

The activities were fantastic. We had the chance to try rifle and pistol shooting, archery, axe and knife throwing, as well as some really clever team challenges that got everyone involved.

What impressed me most was how well everything was run. The instructors were knowledgeable, patient and encouraging, and they were brilliant with the children too. My daughter absolutely loved the archery and came away wanting to take it up properly, which says a lot about the experience she had.

I personally loved the rifle shooting, archery and throwing activities and discovered I’m actually a pretty decent shot! 😂 I came away wanting to do the whole lot again.

Steve, Jennifer and the whole team put so much into making the weekend memorable. It was professional, safe, incredibly well organised and, most importantly, genuinely good fun.

I wouldn’t hesitate to book an experience with South West Survival again, and I’d absolutely recommend them to families, groups or anyone who wants to get outdoors, try something different and have a bloody good time.

A fantastic day out from start to finish! We felt completely safe and well looked after throughout. Everything was very well organised, with plenty of humour and a brilliant sense of fun that made the whole experience even more enjoyable. Steve was wonderful with the kids, who all had an amazing time and left full of smiles and confidence. Highly recommend South West Survival for anyone looking for a fun, adventurous, and professionally run experience. We’ll definitely be back!

My son wanted to have a survival birthday party and we booked with South West Survival. From booking right through to the party Ste was very helpful and responded to all of my queries promptly. The children were extremely excited and loved the space Ste had set up, the variety of activities throughout the party kept them interested and excited at all times. Ste and Jen were the perfect hosts and the children had the best time with all of the parents commenting that the party had been amazing. Thank you so much to Ste and Jen for making my son’s 8th birthday party amazing and exactly what he wanted in a survival party.

Absolutely incredible experience with Steve in Sweden doing arctic survival in down to -35 conditions have come home a different person learning survival and feeling totally safe as a solo woman traveller at all times. Knowledge second to none and beyond professional 👌

Used Steve and Jenny for a team building day and it was fantastic, the guys in the team are lone workers and the event really helped them work together form bonds whilst learning a bit about what tools could help you survive should the worst happen in the wild. The team all spoke highly of the day and I would highly recommend and we will definitely book again

I recently did the Extreme Survival Challenge and Steven Kelly was so great during the experience. We had brilliant useful training to get us through the challenge . Steven is very patience and has alot of knowledge and experience in survival which gave me the confidence and belief that I could do it . He's very encouraging and supportive . It was a pleasure to have met him and I appreciate his support right to the end . Thank you Steven!

My kids went to an event over Christmas. Wish they absolutely loved. If you want to get your kids out in the great outdoors with great instructors. There is no better place .

The team ran a fantastic day from start to finish!

They took a group of 7 - 11 year olds and gave them an absolute blast for the whole 4 hours.

The team had a fantastic way of including all the children and keeping them engaged during team building and bush craft.

Great 7th birthday party for my son! They all left smiling and survival ready!

Ste and Jenny ran a survival and bushcraft birthday party for my 8yr old daughter today, it was amazing!

The children were aged from 5 - 11yrs old and the day was thoroughly enjoyed by all of them. The party lasted for four hours and they were gutted when it finished, if it was up to them they would still be out there now.

Ste had them laughing their heads off straight away and had them doing all kinds of bushcraft games. Throughout the day they did team building activities, fire making and bug eating challenges.

It was delivered in a safe, controlled environment where they could push their own boundaries and learn some great survival and bushcraft skills. Whilst having fun with their mates.

Thank you to the team at South West Survival for making my daughter’s birthday a day she will never forget.
