I come here a lot and I have had an amazing warm friendly welcome and chat with the kind, helpful, lovely Georgia, Jessy and Betsy. Always offered a drink and its a pleasure to visit my Sheffield Space dental branch!

I was invited several times to leave a review and, out of politeness, chose not to. However, at the end of my treatment journey with this Wakefield clinic, I feel it is fair to share my experience.

Intraoral scanner experience
The intraoral scanner did not seem fit for purpose, and staff frequently complained about it during my visits. Scanning my back teeth often involved considerable pressure, which left my mouth sore afterward. The process was also slow, and appointments could feel uncomfortable, particularly when there appeared to be impatience from staff.

Professionalism and patient experience
I found the level of professionalism inconsistent. During treatment, staff often engaged in prolonged personal conversations with each other while I was in the chair, which I found distracting and inappropriate. I would have preferred a greater focus on patient care, communication, and attention to hygiene and procedure.

Unexpected additional costs
I was disappointed by the extra costs arising during treatment that I did not feel were made sufficiently clear in advance. If additional fees may arise, patients should be informed beforehand, rather than feeling committed to continue and then being asked to pay more.

On a positive note, Tara, the hygienist, was excellent — highly professional, skilled, and trustworthy. She was the standout part of my experience, and if she works at other clinics in the future, I would gladly see her again.

The Dentist I had is no longer there and I am left with one top set of dentures. The bottom set needs relining to fit. I have been going here not for 3 years and still not got a full set of dentures. Just contacted them to book in with my dentist in August 2026 to have this treatment done. Unfortunately I have been told that he is no longer there, What they leave you in mid treatment. I am very upset about this and If nothing is done about this then I have no option but to take this to the Dental Board and report this to them. Just thought I would let you know before you make appointments so that you know you might not get what you paid for.

If every company ran like Space Dental the world would be a better place!
My experience was perfect from start to finish. No pushy sales. Always met with a smile. Procedure explained. I’ve waited 4 months to write this review, had my teeth checked by my regular dentist who agreed my composite bonding had been done to an excellent level.

I’ve wanted composite bonding for years but kept putting it off, partly due to my fear of the dentist and partly because I struggled to find the right place. When Space Dental came up, I decided to book a consultation, and from that very first appointment I knew I was in safe hands.

The team were incredibly thorough during the consultation, taking the time to explain everything clearly without ever making me feel rushed. Richard was fantastic, helpful and reassuring throughout the whole process.

Jessy on reception always gave a warm welcome, she’s warm, friendly, and genuinely welcoming. There’s none of that cold, clinical atmosphere you sometimes get at dental practices, which really helped put me at ease.

At my hygiene appointment, Nabina was amazing, the most thorough hygienist I’ve ever had, and just as kind and caring as the rest of the team.

And most importantly, Dr Hassan B has done an incredible job. I’m so happy with my teeth. He really listened to what I wanted and created the perfect result, all while making me feel comfortable and relaxed during the whole treatment.

Every member of staff has been lovely, and it’s genuinely a great dental practice. I couldn’t recommend them more.
