Honestly I didn't like it at first. I am a plant-based health coach and I typically don't recommend any kind of protein powder but because I have type 2 herpes which means I get cold sores when I'm in the Sun, I wanted to try a protein powder to make sure I was getting all of the amino acids including lysine. I started omitting the two pumps of sugar in my Starbucks iced shaking espresso and I put this in the top and then Shake It Up or use a knife to stir it really well and I love it! The chocolate is actually super good this way! Also I'm losing weight from just not having the sugar first thing in the morning. I will be repurchasing and by the way they told me I could send it back as long as there was more than half a bag still left but I'm glad that I gave it a longer try.

The vanilla protein powder is disgusting. It’s chalky and doesn’t dissolve well. The flavor is off and can’t be masked even when attempting to mix it in with other flavors. It does not mix into yogurt at all.
The unflavored Creatine is very granular and doesn’t dissolve well.

You have to pay to ship back the product for a refund. Refunds are only available for one item.

I've been using Spacemilk for 2 years now and after trying what felt like every protein powder on the market, this is the first one that didn't upset my stomach. The taste is excellent too, far better than vegan powders.

Their team is great, I've spoken to the founders over email and had a pleasant experience with Michael and Vanessa. Will be a customer for life!

I tried this product and the taste was horrible. Tastes like plastic. I didnt even bother to return. A few months later I get a email saying your recurring order will ship soon. I immediately email back saying to cancel. They refused claiming it ships immediately and they can’t stop it. I said well how do I initiate a return? They said I can’t I complained about not receiving enough notice to cancel or modify. They (likely ai) then admitted they could see an error in the system with sending me the notification that would have allowed me to cancel. I responded saying you clearly stated the error was in your end and yet you are refusing to refund me or let me return the product. That was like a week ago. I have not received a response to that. Now I have to dispute with my bank. Not cool! This company has horrible customer service. Their policy is to never refund. It’s even on there site. Only store credit or ship a product back out. All at customers expense. Don’t be fooled. There are better products and better companies out there.

Product is amazing. Revolutionary to my fitness, really. Gentle on the tummy, blends well, best protein powder I've ever used. They've outsourced their customer service to AI which is practically frustrating and ideologically repulsive.

There was no communication about the status of the delivery, or a way to find out where it was. When I received the product and tried it a few times I felt no energy or uplift from it at all...I don't know how they measure the protein, but I'm not feeling it. True, no bloating, but nothing to keep me feeling good either. I'm moving on to something else.

They keep sending me more and more product. There is no way to cancel through the website. Whenever I write to them, I get a canned response from some bot named Vanessa. It provides a link to see my subscription information. There is no link to cancel.

Serious bait and switch tactic. Avoid them like the plague.

Update: I finally had to threaten to sue them in order to get my subscription cancelled. I wanted to return the last product they sent to me, but they do not provide a return shipping label. That is how unprofessional, childish and petty this company actually is. Have NOTHING to do with them.

I love Spacemilk.

I am a vegan athlete who has tried many, many, many protein powders. There are only a few I like, but most do not taste great or have GI side effects.

I have tried the Unflavored and Vanilla Spacemilk and I enjoy them both. No gas, no bloating, great taste. They mix well with foods (e.g., oatmeal). I use the unflavored to thicken sauces and dressings. They are good for baking.

I also appreciate the science behind the product and the transparency provided by the third-party assessments. As a physician and athlete, I only like to put things in my body that I know are supporting my health and my goals.

If you are looking for great protein, do not buy from a company that will set you up on a subscription without your consent, and then refuse a refund even though they knew you moved. They are not easy to work with, and will gladly take your money. Your only option is through charging back. They seemed to be out of money. This means they would certainly shortcut product quality considering how desperate they are for your money. Do not buy! Choose a more reputable company for your health products.

Bland, Bland, Bland! I so wanted to like this new "revolutionary, vegan, and sustainable protein alternative". I purchased 3 flavors, Chocolate, Pumpkin spice, and Vanilla. Unfortunately, each one is lacking flavor and has an odd after taste. I should have known as soon as I opened each package and I could barely distinguish one protein powder from the other. I knew instantly that I was about to be disappointed. After mixing and tasting each one, my fear was confirmed! The pumpkin spice had little to no spice flavor. The chocolate had no discernable cocoa flavor. And, the vanilla was just flat and void of flavor. Next thing that was irritating is only one out of the 3 packages I ordered came with a measuring cup!!! My suggestion, please ensure quality control is not slacking on the job! Also, consider employing taste testers that understand and have used spices in the kitchen or in a baking capacity. "Just using salt, pepper, and some sugar" does not count! On a positive note, the amount of vitamins, minerals, and nutritional ingredients is impressive! I don't like wasting things. So, I'll be using these protein powders to up the nutrition and protein content in my baked goods and dessert snacks. But there's definitely room for improvement with this product! Good luck to the company!

I love Spacemilk! I have tried dozens of protein powders over the years, primarily plant based. The bloating is no joke with most proteins. With Spacemilk I get no bloating at all and no belly aches! The price point is high and the shipping was a few weeks out but now that I have tried it and LOVE it, it was worth the wait. I will be reordering. PS: I also had a great experience with customer service and they even sent me free collagen to make up for the shipping delay. Give this new startup a chance!

I ordered the SpaceMilk protein in February and didn’t receive it until March due to a shipping delay. The product itself is okay — nothing exceptional, but usable.
The issue for me was the customer service. Because of the delay, I considered canceling my order and was offered creatine as a courtesy for the inconvenience. However, later I was told I would need to pay shipping in order to receive the creatine, which didn’t feel like honoring the original offer.
As a small company, customer service really matters. When a delay happens and a courtesy item is offered to make things right, it should be honored without additional conditions. The repeated back-and-forth emails made the experience frustrating.
The protein itself is fine, but the overall experience left me disappointed.

Ordered on 2/14. Waited ten days for a status update , confirmation , or just a reason or explanation as to why I hadn’t heard anything. Interestingly enough, there was no delay in the processing of the payment. After ten days of radio silence , I sent an email to cancel the order. No response. After another ten days, they sent an email that read , “Hooray! Your items have shipped!” , so immediately responded to let them know mi already cancelled the order and disputed the charge with my credit card company and that they should check their email. Obviously no customer service department since the second email also received no response. Amateur night. I can’t comment on the quality of the product since I still haven’t seen any proof it exists but their customer service is nonexistent.

The protein powder tasted gross. At the time I purchased they had "30-day money-back guarantee" all over the page. They won't give me my money back and are only offering me a store credit. About a week after my return, as I was in the process of disputing with my credit card, they updated their web page and removed that.

Took 2 weeks to ship my expensive order and ignored my request to change address (because shipping was taking so long and I travel often) before shipping. TERRIBLE company, terribly managed. They ignore the contents of your messages and give you generalized responses. Never buying from them again.

I hate the taste of their "neutral" protein powder. It's so horrible that I almost threw up recently. I'm not sure what chemical taste it reminds me of, though. I can’t quite place it. I bought four bags, hoping that I would like it. I was always put off by the price of this protein, but since there was a discount, I went all in. As a vegan, I’m used to eating all kinds of weird stuff, and a lot of the time my vegan friends are ready to justify underwhelming food options with their ethical origins. But I’m not... I hate this protein. I despise it. I gave it a go multiple times, finishing up the first package (1 out of 4, whoo-hoo). Love the amino profile you guys claim! Love the amount of protein per spoon. But... It didn’t work for me. I hope you have better luck with other customers, but I’m going back to the vegan protein I buy at Costco. I am leaving this review here because Space Milk are using the customer review service that allows them to pick and choose the reviews that they like, so they osrt all the negative reviews out.
