Spacial Sam Broadcaster Unreliable Streaming Service

Extremely disappointing experience with Spacial.

My station was taken offline despite valid payments being made. Their explanation? A “partial system outage” and a “synchronization issue” with their payment partner. That’s not a justification, it’s an internal failure. If you’re in the streaming business, uptime is not optional. Taking paying customers offline without warning is unacceptable.

What made this worse was the complete lack of proactive communication. No heads-up, no urgency in resolving it, and painfully slow support responses while my station remained down.

Now here’s the real issue. Even after acknowledging the problem on their end, they are refusing to issue a refund. Their response is that the service is “active now” and their policy doesn’t allow refunds on active subscriptions.

That’s a convenient policy when the disruption is caused by them.

You can’t take a customer offline due to your own system failure, impact their business, and then hide behind a policy to deny a refund. That shows zero accountability.

Problems can happen. But how a company responds defines them. In this case, it feels rigid, dismissive, and completely disconnected from the realities of running a streaming business.

Would not recommend if reliability and support matter to you.

I bought this a couple of weeks and I…

I bought this a couple of weeks and I been using it since then, and I have noticed many errors and nobody can help to fix them, the software cut the songs, sometime with no reason the song are pitched to low velocity, the liners are overlaid at the end of the songs even when I have the option fade off, skip song with no reasons. Terrible, I am totally regret having bought this. I would've put a little bit more and would've gotten dinesat 12

DO NOT use this service

DO NOT use this service. They have no regard to their users. They deleted my station 3 times for non payment, which they blocked my billing, therefore I was unable to change my card on file. Hours of programming my station 3 times just DELETED without a care in the world. Their customer service team is NO HELP!!! NO ONE seems to care about helping you retrieve all the work you put into your station. Once they completey delete your station theyclaim.to have no way to get it back, proving that all your hard work is simply DISPOSABLE to them. All they want is your money. On top of deleting my station, they continued to accept a payment from an email invoice they sent me, which was sent regarding the same account they claim had been deleted. Spacial/Sam broadcaster has been THE WORSE experience since using their software. DON'T spend your hard earned money with s company that has no regard for the work you put into your station. Find another software company to use. These people are absolutely THE WORSE!!!!

Bad Support

Nice app but the support team is careless and commercially oriented. We were expecting a straightforward transparent support - we ended up paying more and the problem was not resolved….
Refund was not honored… we decommissioned the app…

Spacial & SAM Broadcaster Horrible Company!

We are a tiny radio station that I took over after our owner became ill. She had been using SAM for almost a decade and I inherited it.

I am here today to write the first review here for this company. I am both surprised and not surprised at all that there are no reviews here.

SAM Broadcaster used to be the "Leading" provider of Radio Broadcasting software but they have never updated or modernized their user interface. We have to literally WRITE CODE to schedule our programming. The software looks like it's straight out of the 1990's.

The sad part is this outdated software is one of the most EXPENSIVE services you can sign up for as well.

We have been looking at alternatives because SAM is just too old and inconvenient to use for a while but Spacial has forced our hand in the worst way possible (for them).

We'd been having connectivity issues between them and our Relay provider (because we were not going to pay SAM the ridiculous amount of money they wanted) and they provided NO HELP. They said it wasn't their issue and offered zero guidance.

This upset me because our relay provider said the same thing, however they, who receive only a fraction of what we are spending on SAM, tried their hardest to help.

But Spacial Support? They did NOTHING to help.

When I sent feedback about this as a frustrated new station owner worried about our uptime and all the dead air they GOT INSULTED!

Mind you, I was never mean. I never got personal with them; all I did was say they were causing our downtime and if they were not, please help us figure it out.

When I pushed back to defend us and the lousy, or rather total lack of help, they CANCELED OUR SERVICE AND TURNED OFF OUR RADIO STATION EFFECTIVELY TAKING US COMPLETELY OFF THE AIR WITH NO WARNING.

I think that about sums it up. Spacial is a company that does not need us, nor do they care about us, and they have made that perfectly clear.

Stay far, far away.

There are better, much more modern platforms that care about their customers that are close to a fraction of what SAM Broadcaster/ Spacial costs. We were on our way to one of them anyways.
