The quality of my glasses is really good and they fit very well. The price was brilliant and much cheaper than the high street franchises. The only thing I think could be better is to be able to have a try on option online for all frames. All in all I will buy another pair from Spechaus in the near future because at these prices you can afford to get more pairs for variety of looks.

Varifocals at an amazing price, extremely happy with my purchase and will definitely buy from them again.

I ordered my varifocal glasses from SpecHaus and I’m over the moon with them. Not only are they perfect but I was able to order varifocal sunglasses as my second pair. I’ve not been able to wear sunglasses because they were just too expensive, however, with SpecHaus this has been possible. The quality of the frames, fitting and the lenses are perfect. Charles was amazing with his support and communication all the way through and kept me updated. Delivery was quick and the case for both glasses are fabulous; a great design. I was a little doubtful but very pleasantly surprised and I have an unusual prescription. Great specs, sound frames and good price for two pairs of varifocals. Would recommend.

Ordering: Ordering process was simple and glasses arrived within the expected timeframe

Packaging: Both ordered pairs arrived well packaged in good quality boxes.

The frames: I ordered two pairs. Same frames (Rowan), different prescriptions. One with a standard pair of lenses, one with varifocals.

The difference between the two frames is very noticeable. One pair are really hard to 'open' and much too tight on my head and the other pair are easier to open and only slightly too tight. The quality is just 'fine' - as expected at this price point - if you can set aside that it seems there is no consistency with the fitting.

The biggest issue for me, though, are the lenses themselves. My old pair have expensive Zeiss lenses. But at £500+ a pair, and needing 2 pairs, I wanted to explore more budget friendly options.

Unfortunately, there is a noticeable difference in quality/clarity with these lenses to the point that I'm not sure I can actually wear them. If I can even somehow fix them so they're not crushing my skull.(Both pairs, not just the varifocals that I know I need to allow time to get used to.)

Look, for the price it's a decent product. But if you're used to top quality lenses you're not going to get that here and that's something you need to be aware of. Also be aware of the fact that there is a no return policy so I'm now stuck with two pairs of glasses I won't/can't wear which I hadn't realised when ordering. That's unacceptable for a product you don't get to 'try before you buy' and at odds with every other seller in this space. For that alone I'd shop elsewhere.

Back to the opticians I guess and lesson learned. Some things you just shouldn't do online.

The glasses arrived and were exactly as described. I’m very impressed with the quality and the way the varifocals work. I use varyfocal contacts and the glasses are as easy to wear/adapt to as those.

I ordered 2 pairs, 1 pair of varifocals and 1 pair of varifocal sunglasses, the quality of both is excellent. They were delivered within 10 days of ordering and came in a nice presentation box. If you have any reservations about ordering, don’t have any hesitation. Price is very reasonable, I will be ordering more shortly, why not have several pairs and styles for all occasions 😎

Ordered a pair of the Jimmy frames in tortoise and I couldn’t be happier with my glasses and the experience from the team at Spechaus! Kudos to Charles, and I would definitely recommend to others!

I saw the hype on TikTok and decided to give this company a go. Bought two pairs one with varifocal and transition lenses and also a pair of distance sun glasses. I used the try on line system which seemed to work well. The varifocals are great and I’m getting used to wearing them. The sunglasses I made a mistake with. There is nothing wrong with them and they are functional, however they are too small for my face. Not sure if this was due to an issue with the online try on software or just how I believed they looked. If in doubt I suggest contacting the company for advise. Will make do with them for now before replacing in the future.
All in all happy with the quality and the prices that I paid.
