Thank you for sharing your positive experience with us! We're thrilled to hear that your first cleaning went well, and you're happy with the results. If you ever need assistance or have any questions, feel free to reach out. We appreciate your trust in our marketplace.
We recently booked a 6-hour cleaning…
We recently booked a 6-hour cleaning service with SpicAndSpan.pt with the expectation of a spotless and meticulously cleaned apartment. Unfortunately, the experience was far from satisfactory.
Despite having a clearly laid out task list, essential cleaning jobs were overlooked. Our sofa was left untouched, and the walls still had visible marks after the cleaning session, even though we specifically requested these areas to be cleaned. It was disheartening to find that we had to do additional cleaning ourselves after paying for a professional service.
The duration of the cleaning also left much to be desired. Six hours for an empty 50m² apartment that was already in good condition seems excessive, and we expected a more efficient service.
In conclusion, based on our experience, we cannot recommend SpicAndSpan.pt, especially considering the premium price we paid. We hoped for a thorough and professional cleaning service but were left with a disappointing experience and the additional task of cleaning up ourselves.

Dear Claire,
Thank you for your review.
We regret to learn about your experience; however, despite multiple attempts, we have been unable to establish communication with you to address your concerns. Timely communication is crucial in resolving issues to our customers' satisfaction.
Regarding the oversight in the cleaning tasks, we want to emphasize that we had requested specific photos, including those of wall-stains, to provide a more accurate assessment. This information is vital for the cleaners to adequately prepare for your unique needs. Unfortunately, we did not received any of the requested photos, and it's important to note that, had we received them, we would have been able to advise that the walls required painting, not cleaning.
We acknowledge that your expectations were not met, and we understand the inconvenience caused. It's essential to highlight that, as per our terms and conditions, providing photos serves as proof for addressing customer concerns. We had also shared proof from the cleaners in our last email, but unfortunately, we received no response.
While we consistently strive to resolve issues for all our customers, effective communication and evidence play a crucial role in this process. If you have further feedback or if you decide to share additional information, even after the standard time frame, please don't hesitate to reach out. We are more than willing to assist.
Thank you for your understanding.
Best regards,
Teresa is amazing

Reliable, communicative, and convenience
If you want reliability, affordable, and convenience, then Spic and Span is a great option. My only reason I didn't give 5 stars is because it was hit or miss with the quality of cleaners.

i find the service to be very average…
i find the service to be very average and therefore overpriced. i was under the impression that i am hiring a professional cleaning company but what i got was a very regular cleaning service that could have costed me half the amout i paid had i hired an individual.

We regret to learn about this situation. Kindly be aware that you scheduled a BASIC last-minute cleaning service, which is priced higher due to its booking within 48/24 hours prior to the service.
As a BASIC cleaning, it encompasses fundamental tasks such as vacuuming, mopping, and dust removal – essentially focused on essential cleaning aspects.

Awesome service, fast, on time, friendly cleaners
Hi there! It's going to be an honest positive review since I have absolutely no complaints:
1. The cleaners arrived on time, even earlier a bit which is a rare approach these days;
2. I had a few complex asks like steaming the tiles, and getting rid of the marks on my walls - everything was done well;
3. The cleaners- Wiviane was friendly and open to my recommendations/comments, it was a pleasure to communicate with her and her colleague.
Overall I am happy with the service, and will definitely use it again! Thank you folks
