We are a non-profit retreat center hosting ayahuasca retreats for spiritual development in the Atlantic rainforest. What makes our retreats unique are the workshops that have been designed specifically to enhance the ayahuasca experience. In these workshops you will learn tools to explore and work on yourself, and to integrate the insights that you receive in the workshops and the ayahuasca ceremonies. Our focus is to help participants apply the insights to their everyday life to make practical long-lasting changes. Another highlight of our retreats are the exquisite ayahuasca-friendly vegan meals prepared by our in-house chef who specializes in functional nutrition. We prepare our own ayahuasca brew from plants grown organically and sustainably at our center. Our retreats also have yoga classes, massages, visits to some of the most beautiful beaches Brazil has to offer, and a natural pond where you can swim and soak in the sights and sounds of the rainforest.

Most healing experience ever!
This was my first experience with Ayahuasca. Although I was anxious to experiment these 11 days, my fear disappeared as soon as we entered Silvia’s property. A true haven of peace with abundant and beautiful nature.
What a blessing to be able to have 5 ceremonies during the stay as each one is different, each one is so powerful and so healing. All this has been possible thanks to the professionalism and immense knowledge of Silvia and the precious help of Elvis who also took very good care of us all.
Not to mention the delicious food and the housing; it was fantastic.
Thank you so much 🙏
A Safe and Beautiful Retreat for Healing and Spiritual Connection
I visited Spirit Vine for the first time during the pandemic, in November of 2020. As a birthday gift to myself, I decided to go, and it turned out to be one of the best decisions of my life.
My priority was to find a trustworthy facilitator who spoke English and was highly experienced in both Indigenous and Western healing practices.
I wanted a space where I could actually understand and integrate my journey without being left in confusion, and where I wouldn’t have to fear messy distractions or others losing control.
I consider myself lucky I found Spirit Vine because my expectations were not only confirmed but clearly exceeded.
The accommodations at Spirit Vine resemble those of a hotel resort. The bungalows are cozy, neat, and impeccably maintained. I especially appreciated the beautiful hot showers, and I loved falling asleep in my comfortable bed to the soothing sounds of the jungle.
I met such interesting people from all over the world at the retreats. We all connected quickly, because we shared the same purpose: to work on our spirituality.
I have made friends at the retreats that I cherish to this day.
Self-empowerment, helped me express my intentions and find the courage and inner strength to face parts of myself that I didn’t know before.
Witnessing my peers experience breakthroughs, learning from each other, and healing together was a truly special and transformative experience.
The ceremonies are organized and tranquil, with no distractions, allowing everyone to focus fully on themselves.
The entire retreat offers a perfect rhythm of rest, deep work. Yoga sessions and optional massages help to release physical pain and tension. Sharing stories, connecting with others, painting, and swimming in the lake add to the enriching experience.
It’s truly beautiful to know that there are others out there who feel similarly and I‘m so grateful I found this place.
I’m looking very much forward to coming back.
I can’t recommend this place enough.
I can’t recommend this place enough.
I drank ayahuasca in a few different retreat centers and this place absolutely stands out dramatically.
The fact that the retreat is run by a therapist is a game changer.
You get to process and integrate what you experience during the journeys.
The combination between magic and logic, between shamanism and western psychology is potent.
The facilities are perfect as you are in the jungle surrounded by beautiful nature, but high standards so that you don’t need to worry about comfort and you can focus on your healing.
Food is also amazing.
I have been coming to this place since 2018 multiple times and will absolutely come again.
For me, when it comes to ayahuasca, there is no room for compromising, and this place is just the best.
Not quite the jungle magic I was expecting
I attended this retreat hoping for something rooted in the Amazonian tradition, maybe not a full-on feathered shaman blowing tobacco in my face, but at least a whisper of the rainforest’s ancestral spirit.
Instead, I got a white psychotherapist from Argentina inviting us to “heal our inner child” through group workshops. Had I known, I could’ve just stayed home and booked another session with my therapist. At least she has a couch.
The setting is technically in the rainforest, which sounds magical—until you realize the local village is about 100 meters away. Every evening, the church choir serenades you through the trees with gospel and keyboard-heavy praise music. Nothing says spiritual cleansing like trying to purge your trauma to the beat of evangelical karaoke.
One of the most jarring parts for me was watching the dynamic between the retreat facilitators (all white) and the local staff (all Indigenous or local to the area). While the guests were being served the sacred brew, the locals were cleaning, cooking, carrying, and doing garden work, being directed or bossed around by caucasians. It didn’t feel respectful, it felt extractive.
Ayahuasca, a medicine cherished by Indigenous Amazonian cultures, was being handed to us by people who didn’t seem connected to that lineage, and those who were from that lineage were in the background doing labor.
It all felt more like a polished wellness business than a sacred spiritual center. And while I see the sea of glowing five-star reviews, I couldn’t help but wonder if some are curated. I’m not saying no one has a good experience, clearly some do, but it’s also possible, and valid, to walk away feeling disappointed.
My advice? If you’re looking for an authentic encounter with the spirit of the Amazon, this may not be it. Unless your inner child wants a life-coach in havaianas.
A Life-Changing Experience.. Spirit Vine is Truly One of a Kind
I’ve participated in many retreats around the world, but nothing comes close to the experience I had at Spirit Vine. From the moment I arrived, I felt a sense of peace and intention that set this place apart. Every detail, from the beautifully maintained grounds nestled in the Atlantic forest to the nourishing vegan meals, is designed with care and consciousness.
What makes Spirit Vine truly exceptional is its depth and integrity. This isn’t just another ayahuasca retreat, it’s a sanctuary for real inner work. The spiritual workshops are unlike anything I’ve experienced elsewhere. They’re profound, thoughtfully crafted, and deeply transformative. Rather than imposing a doctrine, they gently guide you back to your own truth, helping you reconnect with your power and unique essence.
The staff and facilitators are incredibly supportive, grounded, and present. You can feel the love and intention in everything they do. The environment is 100% clean, no alcohol, tobacco, or other substances, which creates a safe, focused space to go deep with the medicine. That sense of safety and clarity made all the difference for me.
If you feel the call to work with ayahuasca in a conscious, supportive, and truly life-enhancing way, Spirit Vine is the place. It’s not just a retreat, it’s a return to yourself.
My Experience with Spirit Vine Retreat
Spirit Vine in Bahia Itacaré, Brazil, provides a deeply meaningful Ayahuasca retreat experience in a uniquely beautiful and serene setting. Even nearly ten years later, my memories of this special place remain vivid and deeply cherished.
The retreat center is set amidst beautifully maintained landscapes, featuring comfortable pathways lined with trimmed grass, vibrant flowers blossoming everywhere, and lush coconut trees offering fresh coconuts directly from the land. Being located in the atlantic rainforest, the retreat is surrounded day and night by the sounds of abundant wildlife—from birds and insects to frogs and other creatures—creating a constant, natural soundtrack that reflects the richness and vitality of the environment.
The food at Spirit Vine is fresh, nourishing, and thoughtfully prepared. Meals feature a variety of local fruits, including watermelons, mangoes, papayas, honey melons, and coconut water straight from the trees. All meals served are vegetarian, varied each day, and prepared with care, complementing the holistic experience of the retreat.
The Ayahuasca ceremonies at Spirit Vine take place in a uniquely designed space that is partially open to the surrounding jungle, with netted walls that let the sounds and energy of nature flow in while keeping insects out. The ceremonies are held in silence, accompanied by carefully chosen music, allowing each participant to engage in a personal inward journey within a safe and supportive setting. Silvia – the owner and primary facilitator – is an experienced clinical psychologist who has also cultivated a deep understanding of shamanism and spiritual practices through decades of immersion in the field and working with ayahuasca. Silvia offers support and provides tools that enable and empower each participant to do the work themselves—to navigate and integrate their experiences throughout the retreat.
Complementary workshops, yoga sessions, and therapeutic massages further aid gentle, holistic integration, fostering self-awareness and inner harmony.
One of the retreat's most rewarding aspects is forming genuine connections with fellow participants. Sharing experiences and insights within a supportive community greatly enhances the retreat's impact, creating lasting friendships and mutual support.
Reflecting now, I am deeply grateful for the insights, friendships, and lasting sense of peace cultivated at Spirit Vine. I'm thankful for the opportunity to attend multiple retreats guided by Silvia, whose expertise in both Western psychology and traditional practices has been invaluable. Ultimately, it was the supportive setting and careful attention provided by Silvia and her team that allowed me to fully embrace and integrate my Ayahuasca experiences. I felt safe, protected, and well-cared for throughout the retreat, making genuine transformation possible. Returning to Spirit Vine is always a joy, and I eagerly look forward to my next visit. I genuinely recommend this retreat to anyone seeking authentic self-exploration, meaningful connections, and personal growth in a warm, welcoming, and nurturing environment.
This was my 5th time at Spirit Vine and…
This was my 5th time at Spirit Vine and each time has been wonderful in all the same ways as before, but the awareness that I come away with each time expands and helps me gain valuable perspective. I am forever grateful to Silvia, for providing a beautiful and safe oasis in which to explore what and how Ayahuasca shows me, and the priceless workshops Silvia facilitates throughout the retreats. I've also only recently become aware of grateful I am for the structure she provides.
If you're looking for a place to do real work, real healing, I can't recommend this place enough.
Very satisfied 3 time participant
I have been to Spirit Vine 3 times. I want to tell anyone and everyone who is considering this retreat center that this place and this experience have been incredibly healing for me.
Four and a half years ago, I lost my 14 year old son in a violent manner, and I spent the next two years in grief and self destruction. This, on top of a lifetime of traumas, including a rough childhood, military deployments, divorces, and abandonment, was how I showed up to Spirit Vine.
I can honestly say that my first Spirit Vine retreat was the defining point in turning my life from negative to positive, and my life continues to improve rapidly with the help of two subsequent Spirit Vine retreats.
Silvia always seems to have the right guidance for retreat participants, whether it is to look harder into one particular aspect of ourselves, to give techniques on how to let something go, or by other means.
Silvia and her staff are professional and thoughtful. The facilities and food are spectacular.
Everyone is remarkably well cared for.
The ceremonies feel truly sacred and safe.
I cannot recommend this place and this experience enough.
A Beautiful Façade That Left Me Feeling Unsafe and Disillusioned
I’ve held onto this experience for months, unsure how to find the words, let alone the strength, to speak up. But healing asks for honesty. So today, I’m choosing to share what happened during my time at Spirit Vine.
I visited this retreat center twice, first in 2019, then again in 2024. The first time, there was a team of facilitators supporting Silvia, the founder. By 2024, none of them were there. No explanation. Just gone. That absence planted a quiet question in my mind.
While the retreat’s setting is beautiful, the forest, the sunshine, the clean rooms, the deeper elements that create real healing were missing for me. I came seeking safety, presence, and care. What I encountered instead felt cold, transactional, and at times, deeply unsettling. One moment that left me shocked was when Silvia told me my “entities” were attacking her. She is a psychologist with a phd, so I expected professionalism, not spiritual gaslighting.
The current assistant was untrained, and I often felt more like a paying customer being offered leftover massage slots than a participant in a sacred healing space.
Spirit Vine presents itself as a non-profit “church” with a required $2,500 donation to attend. But behind that spiritual label, the structure didn’t feel aligned with the ethics or transparency I had expected. During my retreat, another participant shared concerning research about Silvia. That conversation opened a door I hadn’t dared to look through before.
One moment that really stayed with me: after the last ceremony, we were invited to leave tips for the staff. I gave generously, believing the team would benefit. But a staff member quietly confided that Silvia personally decides who receives what, and keeps the rest. That shook me. It didn’t just feel disorganized, it felt dishonest.
I tried to make the most of my retreat. I stayed. I did the work. But I never felt truly held or safe. Questions were brushed aside. Concerns went unacknowledged. Even when I asked why the former facilitators who had supposedly purchased land around the center to “help save the forest” had all left and never returned, there was no answer. Just silence.
When I got home, I did more research. I found numerous court cases, legal disputes, and land battles, including those involving now-deceased business partners. (Search “JusBrasil Silvia Polivoy” to verify.) It became painfully clear that this center has a long and complicated history that is not visible on its glossy surface. To this day, Silvia remains in a legal dispute over the very land Spirit Vine is built upon.
I came to this place to do deep emotional work, to face wounds I’ve carried for years. But how can we surrender into healing when we don’t feel safe… when we start to realize we’re being misled?
This review isn’t about revenge, it’s about responsibility. I almost didn’t write this. I didn’t want to stir controversy. But then I thought about the people like me, searching for healing, ready to give their trust, their money, their hearts. They deserve the full picture.
Would you board a plane with a known record of safety issues? Probably not. Healing requires even more care.
So I’m sharing this with one hope: that you take the time to research, ask questions, and trust your intuition. I learned a lot from this experience, about discernment, about boundaries, and about the power of speaking up when something feels wrong.
Choose wisely. Your healing journey deserves nothing less.
Transformative
I had the loveliest experience at Spirit Vine. Having booked the retreat I wasn't sure what to expect, but Silvia, Elvis, and the rest of the staff made us all feel right at home from the moment we arrived.
The grounds are beautiful, and the dorms were nice and cosy, and the food was as healthy as could be. There's also wifi (but I tried to remain offline for the retreat) and hammocks which were the perfect spots to rest and journal. Yoga and massages were offered too.
There are so many retreats to choose from and I personally never researched any others. I read about this retreat in a book and that was all there was to it for me. Looking back, I realise I was so lucky to have ended up at Spirit Vine. Had I done a deeper dive into other retreats out there, I might have been tempted by one with a shaman, or one in a country that spoke Spanish (although the retreat itself was in English). But ultimately this retreat was special because Silvia added a huge psychotherapy element to it. She facilitated workshops before each ceremony that helped us dive into a piece of our subconscious, e.g. a workshop where we practiced making a connection with our inner child, and these workshops gave me a lot of material to work through during the ceremonies after (looking back, these workshops were responsible for my biggest breakthroughs). I also really appreciated the group sharing sessions. The act of sharing in front of others got me much more comfortable with being vulnerable, and Silvia would provide her own psychotherapy-informed view of what came up in my session and what it ultimately meant. I learned from the feedback that she gave me, but also through the feedback she gave others. Everyone learned from each other's experience, and that was truly invaluable.
Writing this one month later, it feels like I received 20 years of therapy in a single week. I met wonderful people, was surrounded by beautiful nature, and had an opportunity to rest and reset through all of it. I couldn't have wished for a better experience. Thanks so much to everyone at Spirit Vine for having helped me become a better person. I hope others will find their own ways there too.
My experience with Ayahuasca was deeply…
My experience with Ayahuasca was deeply transformative. It wasn’t just a journey—it was a mirror to my soul. The ceremony created a safe and sacred space where I could surrender, face my inner shadows, and reconnect with parts of myself I didn’t even know were missing.
It wasn’t easy. At times, it was intense, emotional, and even uncomfortable. But every moment felt necessary—like the medicine was showing me exactly what I needed, not what I wanted. There was a deep sense of healing, clarity, and peace that came afterward.
The facilitators were incredibly supportive, and the energy of the group helped me feel connected and understood. I walked away feeling lighter, more grounded, and more in tune with nature, spirit, and my purpose.
Ayahuasca is not a “trip”—it’s a teacher. And I’m grateful for what it showed me.
This was my first experience with…
This was my first experience with ayahuasca and I could not wish for a better place. Silvia created a truly wonderful place, a healing centre that feels safe, containing and well protected. Every single detail is thought about, Spirit Vine is well organised and truly beautiful. The ceremonies felt safe and Silvia offers integrative pathways that other retreats do not, which actually allows understanding ayahuasca experience. The workshops, yoga, and massages offer amazing preparation and sharing and art sessions offer integration opportunities. If I were to do Ayauasca again I would not go anywhere else. I was truly impressed and will be forever grateful for the gift of Spirit Vine. Special thanks to Silvia for creating and managing Spirit Vine, Elvis for taking care of us and all staff members who make sure that Spirit Vine remains a beautiful paradise, a healing place for many souls. Best wishes Martyna
Very pleasant experience
Silvia and Elvis are really helpful when you want/need it and at the same time non intrusive when you should or feel like working on yourself. You'll get all the guidance you need. The ayahuasca retreat is very well coordinated in beautiful jungle environment (garden) which is the optimal kind of place for the given nature of the subject with three appropriate light vegan meals a day and nice and clean accomodation to go with it. Everything is cared for so tat you can concentrate on your journey and whatever it is you need to do.
I've had one ayahuasca experience so far and definately am going for another when the time is right. A place for people who want to change something in their lives and/or move on in some sense, as from my experience, ayahuasca may not necesarilly get you the exact thing you expect, but will always give you what you need. I'd recomend it to just about anybody with open mind and appropriate will.
It has been two months since the…
It has been two months since the retreat and I am still struggling to put into words how magical the whole experience was. Before starting this journey, I felt like something was off but I could not put my finger on it. I feel like Ayahuasca already started doing her magic even by just following the restrictions two months prior. You start removing the noise, things become more clear, and things start aligning. I am still feeling the effect of it in such a positive mind blowing way. For me, Ayahuasca was not necessarily life changing but life tuning and it was Exactly what I needed. I feel to my core so at peace, centered, grateful, happy, present, fulfilled and ready for whatever the universe has in store for me (the good and the bad). Most importantly, my thoughts are SO conscious. I can catch myself in a negative or unproductive thought loop and get out of it with such grace. If I am triggered, I can recognize it and navigate it. Ayahuasca showed me what it feels like to be my highest self and now I can always reference it to remind myself who I am and where I need to flow. It is just so incredible and so Freeing!
First of all, before even considering doing Ayahuasca you Have to be ready to do the deep work that comes with it, especially the intense preparation leading up to it. It is not a recreational experience, it is hard, Very Intense, draining and exhausting. You Have to be ready to let go of your past self or you will really struggle. However, if you are ready for it - I cannot recommend Spirit Vine enough. I have been raving about this place to everyone I talk to. Silvia has created a paradise for true authentic healing. She comes in with a lot of tough love that we all needed. Don't expect to be coddled here - She means Business. However, you are 110% taken care of - everything at the retreat was perfect and designed with such care. I alway felt so safe and loved. You are surrounded by the most beautiful nature, the bungalow was so peaceful and very clean, the food was delicious and I was always so impressed how creative they got considering all the restrictions and the pond was such a great place to recharge. The workshops were one of the most meaningful experiences of the retreat - not only from talking about your own experience but listening to everyone else's experience and Sivlia's perspective and endless wisdom. I feel like a million light bulbs were going off in my head during it - honestly they are still going off.
Nothing can prepare you for the actual Ayahuasca trip but with the right intention it can open your world up in the most beautiful way. It is impossible to describe. Everyone in our group had very different experiences and you just have to trust Aya's intelligence that you will get the experience you need. The healing journey did not just come from your own journey but from the insane strength of the group you are with. It was the most inspirational humbling eye opening experience I had the honor to be part of with these beautiful extraordinary conscious humans. In the end, I would not change a thing and Spirit Vine was really the ultimate alignment from the universe. Silvia, you are an angel. I cannot wait to be back stronger and more awake.
This was my 1st ayahuasca retreat
This was my 1st ayahuasca retreat. It was a little unnerving to travel to a country I've never been plus sending money to someone I don't know. Even after all the research. Lots of trust, but so grateful I did. Silvia was amazing, and all of her instructions were spot on. I would encourage anyone thinking of going, follow her guidance. As for the center, it was like stepping into paradise. I couldn't begin to describe, it needs to be experienced. The ceremonies, for me, were deep and so insightful. I was able to connect and get clarity on such a deep level. The ego dissolution was so powerful and liberating. I can't wait to return. Mother Aya is real and true. It's my option everyone would benefit from attending. The staff and everyone was amazing- not to mention the food. May all who desire to explore put your trust in Spirit Vine. They will take care of you. They are legit and passionate about what they do. Much love and Blessings!
First Aya Journey
When my bestie and I were researching ayahuasca retreats, spirit vine was definitely the one that called to us and magically aligned so perfectly. At first we were very uncertain about how things would go. But after talking to a few of the attendees that have come back a few times, made us feel so secure.
The thing that stands out so much from this retreat, Is that Sylvia incorporates lectures on therapeutic life tools depending on the needs of the group and tools we can use during our ayahuasca journey. For example, She taught us this meditation where we scan our body and check for blockages/pain and to release them out into the “cosmic vacuum”. This has been such a helpful practice from me. I’ve taken this and implemented this into my everyday life.
My first impression of an ayahuasca journey has always depicted a shaman in the center. But the way Sylvia curated this retreat is not shaman centered, which is by far way better. She gives you the power to find it within your self to create the healing experience. And this way you can really take this experience and bring it back with you to your every day life. This was You can always harness your inner healing.
In the beginning it took a lil ice breaking to get used to the group setting of sharing. But once we got to really know each other, it felt so good to share and feel understood and supported. It truly felt like a safe space. Thank you Sylvia for creating such a healing sanctuary in the jungle. You can really tell she meticulously planned every little detail of the retreat based on her many years of learning and experiences. Thank you Elvis for that napkin you gave me during the ceremony while I was purging. You looked like an angel handing me a napkin. Thank you to the wonderful staff and cooks. I highly recommend spirit vine.

I believe it was my intuition that led me to Spirit Vine. After discovering the website, I couldn't consider any other retreat—something was calling me to this specific place, and now I understand why.
What I was searching for was a safe, non-judgmental environment that isn’t purely "shamanic" but respects and cultivates the original culture while also recognizing the needs and challenges of the modern world. Everything exceeded my expectations—these nine days taught me more than I could have imagined.
Silvia has created a true paradise, a space designed to support you on your never-ending healing journey. Before this retreat, I didn’t fully understand what healing truly meant. The workshops are both psychotherapeutic and spiritual, teaching you how vital it is to harness your own power. It’s deeply empowering.
I could write a hundred pages describing my experiences, but that’s not the purpose of this review. All I want to say is this: Where you do ayahuasca truly matters! If you want to do it right, learn, and heal—this is the place.
Thank you, Silvia, for sharing your profound wisdom with us and for creating such an amazing safe place.
Big thanks to Elvis, and all the amazing ladies and gentlemen from the staff who took care of us.
Root Causes of Healing
I had the privilege of attending Spirit Vine (SV). This was my second SV retreat. My first experience opened my eyes. This second one completely transformed my life in ways I still struggle to articulate fully. I'd been experiencing an incredibly difficult year up to my visit and the cumulative trauma collected through the years led me going into this Brazil retreat as raw and ready to learn and heal as I'd ever be. I knew that ayahuasca is an amplifier of your thoughts and emotions and is a teacher of truth—but ONLY if you are open to the lessons that she will give you. You must be willing to do the self reflective work and embrace the continuous healing process. I'd reached my physical and emotional limit: I was ready.
Under ayahuasca's influence and Silvia's guidance, I was guided during ceremonies into the depths of my mind, discovering long-buried truths and reliving painful memories that had been shaping my life and decisions in the most destructive of ways. These revelations forced me to confront body traumas rooted in emotional traumas I didn’t fully understand until they were brought into the light. Silvia kept asking me to explore not the body pain itself, but "what is the root cause?!?" which led me to explore somatic healing. While very challenging, this necessary work helped me find the courageous warrior woman I am and sparked a deep sense of self-awareness I never thought possible.
Under Silvia's psychology expertise, what for me made this journey as important was, for most of us, exploring in the morning after ayahuasca with fellow beautiful souls on the same journey psychoanalysis-based group therapy. In community, we gain strength and hope. Sharing common pain and expressing healing goals allowed us as humans to connect deeply, making the integration work as transformative as the ceremonies themselves.
Looking back, every step of my life led me to Brazil, a land I've been enchanted with for decades. It led me to Spirit Vine, and to this moment. Spirit Vine is not just a retreat; it provides the spiritual context, compassionate care, and psychological tools to help you integrate ayahuasca’s lessons into your daily life. For me, this process has been supported by my reflections, continued synchronicities, and ongoing commitment to myself to heal by understanding these revelations through research and self-exploration. This combination of spiritual insight and intellectual inquiry has allowed me to connect mind, body, and spirit in ways I just didn't think was possible. In our multi-dimensional universe, anything is possible.
If you, dear human, are ready to confront your unresolved childhood traumas (because I believe most of us don't get out of childhood unscathed) and free yourself from the shackles of emotional and physical pain, this too may become 'an experience of your lifetime." I share the depth of my journey not to compare, but to show that each of us heals in our own unique way, and every step - no matter how small -matters just as much in this lifelong process.
Ayahuasca continues to pave the way for me to release the weight of my past and step into a brand-new life of no longer my trauma but my choosing - one of deep self-awareness and love, limitless possibilities, and too guiding and inspiring others to become the healthiest version of themselves. My deepest gratitude to Silvia, Noor, and this sacred medicine...it is endless.❤️

This year was my second time at spirit vine, which speaks volumes. I will be going again and taking my daughter when she comes of age in 2 years, then my son 2 years after and my daughter who is 5, when she is around 18 also, so spirit vine never end please!! :) Such a held space with genuine facilitators who have time for you and who really do care. The workshops are invaluable and the love for what spirit vine does for people really stands out. You cannot go there and not heal, it is impossible. Absolutely stunning grounds and a very magical place. I hopefully will be going for many years to come, healing layer by layer with the help of Silva.. Who's... 1 hourrrr.. (among many of the things she says) will be with me forever. So grateful, thank you so much Elvis and Silvia 🙏🙏🙏❤️❤️❤️💙💙💙💜💜💜🫂🫂🫂🫂 Love Jo. Baker
11 day retreat in November near Itacaré, Bahia in Brazil
Hello dear person looking for an ayahuasca retreat!
Maybe the following sentences might sound too good to be true (like probably most of the reviews about Spiritvine:D), but it might as well be a good opportunity to start or keep on believing that life and the world can be full of goodness and you can fully trust. Whether you are opening up for a first experience or want to go deeper on the journey with ayahuasca, at Spiritvine Silvia (the owner) has build up a place and refined the retreats she's offering with a lot of care and dedication over the years. Everything is super well organized, from before you get to Spiritvine, throughout beautiful cozy bungalows with verandas and hammocks; extremely yummy, healthy and inspring food; a peaceful, quiet and caring atmosphere; friendly discreet stuff; an incredibly well looked after piece of land of jungle with lovely flowers, heaps of funny birds, butterflies and monkeys you can observe throughout your stay; a big pond to enjoy swims and floating... aaaaaand the powerful tools and deep understanding you can learn in the workshops! The music in the ceremonies is beautifully chosen and I found it very supportive navigating through the ayahuasca journeys and still now helping me grow and connect afterwards. I personally went to an 11-day-retreat after having done a few 1-night-ceremonies in Europe and found it very supportive to move through the ceremonies by using the workshop's tools to dive into some big healing of inner child wounds, understand behavioural patterns and beliefs on a more profound level, as well as the links to my family and ancestral history. I personally found the rhythm with having yoga, workshop and a ceremony one day, and art and integration and resting time a good combination to rest enough, journal and feel ready for the next day again. Or at least as ready as I could be, which is always enough I believe;). It's been a life changing journey that I feel will keep me developing in a constructive way for a long time. Silvia has a lot of experience and knowledge and has been dedicating herself to helping other people heal for a long time. I honestly believe it's a big privilege if you decide to go to Spiritvine and feel ready to open up for the life changing journey you need at this moment in time. Silvia would always give us the direct mirror to where we need to look at to move on, which can be discomforting, but then thats the way to follow if you want to grow. She would accompany us with a caring presence all the time and give us all a huge empowerment by leading us to find out the answers for ourselves. I feel extremely grateful and could not have imagined before, how empowering and healing these 11 days would be. 3 weeks after the retreat now, I still cannot find enough words to describe the gratitude I feel for the safe space Silvia's offering at Spiritvine and how priceless this experience is. Still full of love and appreciation for the Spiritvine family. :-) so last but not least, I would like to share that we had some good laughs in the group with Silvia- in case you are fond of humour too. ;-)
If this resonates with you I wish you a wonderful journey, stay curious and playful! and maybe a secret I learnt from mother ayahuasca: You don't need to be afraid. Fear is not part of the secret of life. But psssst, it's a secret. :-)
You'll make the right choice for you!
