Ordered a new softwood staircase to replace our old staircase just cos we wanted it all empty below. Phil confirmed it would be fine without support but from the start even without living in the house for a month the staircase is making a squeaky sound. It’s scary. I contacted the company sent messages video but no response at all to come and rectify this

Fabulous knowledge, team and attention to detail. It was a pleasure having them help design and then construct the stairs and banisters running around the upstairs halls - it looks magnificent and it was all done by such a friendly group of people. Thank you

Jake and his team were great from start to finish. Jake was very approachable with queries / questions answered within 5 minutes. His fitting team came in did the job and are polite and friendly. If you need stairs, look no further than these guys 10 / 10 service.

A very bad experience with this company. Requested a quote to build up a stair case and they never cared. Stop answering phone or replying messages. I went to visit the sales in his factory but basically they don't care. Quite unreliable.

I phoned in the beginning to ask about further handrails and spindles that we were assured that we could order more of if needed (after our initial staircase was installed) and was told to send an email and they would get back to me. I have now sent two emails and phoned on a number of occasions (sometimes leaving a voicemail) but no one had bothered to respond.
I wonder whether I've been ignored because I dared to give some some feedback regarding the initial staircase. It was slightly negative and just wanted them to be aware of what happened. One of the newel posts had measured about 10cm too short so my husband has had to attach an extra bit to the top so that he could then attach the handrail at the correct height.
It's very unprofessional that we've not heard back from them and so hence the poor rating!

During 8 months of constant work to a house that needed a complete gutting on our street, we were not subject to noise before 8:30am on a Saturday, loud shouting throughout the day, or verbal abuse towards any neighbours, until the arrival of Stair & Banister Ltd. They have made quite an impression in a very short space of time.

I would definitely recommend Stairs and Bannisters. Jake and the team were very professional and met all the deadlines they gave us. The quality finish of the staircase was just what we we’re looking for

I honestly would look no further for anything stair related, to my amazement we received our staircase in 3 working days from the date of our order, jake the owner delivered it to site and within an hour it was installed with no problems. Very proficient company, experts at what they do!
