Stance Fitness Avis 14

Been using and testing stance for about 2 months now. I have really enjoyed it. It has allowed me to more accurately gauge my RPE and intensity.

I have used it mainly for powerlifting, but have also experimented with it for speed/power. It can be used for both styles of training. The guys seem to be working hard at developing it.

Only thing I would say is I think velocity tracking is probably for more intermediate and advanced trainees. I think if you are a beginner, you will definitely need a coach to help and guide you. Or read around quite a bit so you understand how to use velocity based tracking alongside RPE.

Stance is a great tool for tracking strength gains based on bar velocity for a variety of key exercises. The user interface was very easy to understand and would be useful even for beginners to strength training. The only issue was some technical glitches which would result in list sets during a workout and the occasional appearance of ghost reps within sets.

Integrating Stance into my training has been a game changer. The simple to understand data breakdowns has allowed me to understand my performance better and make the most of every set for maximum performance

Stance is amazing! I have been fortunate enough to work with stance for over 6 months now and it has really helped to bridge the gap from subjective training experience and give you objective real time data to help improve your training.

We got involved with some of Stances beta testing for their App launch. The ideas and technology behind the app development are really interesting and bring a multitude of different parameters together in one place to track training progress and readiness reporting. This is what will and does set Stance apart from other brands out there. The accuracy they will be able to report these to the end user will be invaluable to the individuals training progress and forward planning for sessions/rest days as well as efficient load choices and accurate RPE measurement via the velocity tracking software. We're excited to see where they will go!

Super happy to have a hand in development as part of Beta programme. The guys at Stance are super receptive to feedback and ideas and the product itself is superb. The integration with Apple watch OS and general features such as the video feedback integrated in-app makes it incredibly insightful when reviewing lifting form. Nothing but good things to say about the direction here and a very happy user.

Simple and easy to use! A great insight into personal performance in the gym and knowledge on progression incorporating training blips and 'off-days', increasing motivation to keep going even on the hard days.

The app is very polished and gives great insights. Some improvements to come but I’m sure the app will become more and more useful

Absolutely love using Stance with my phone and watch! It has helped me tune into my workout and also my fluctuation of strength as a female athlete. Due to Stance I optimised my training around my cycle and learned about my body more than I ever had before! Having a visual representation of every rep has helped me improve my pace, work on my form and got me to many PBs at the powerlifting competition. Highly highly recommend!
