Star Plumbing, Heating & Renewables Avis 

We had an air source heat pump retrospectively fitted in our 1970s house, after removal of an old gas boiler. Tim completed all the paperwork to apply for the government discount and was always clear about what our installation would be. We needed more radiators and so there was a bit of disruption to our house, such as lifting flooring. The fitters were professional at all times and worked hard to complete the upgrade within a week. We had one or two minor initial issues but these were quickly resolved. I found Star easy to communicate with and am happy with my installation.

We called Star after a different plumber had left us with a poorly fitted boiler. Star Sorted the problem quickly and were very thorough in ensuring the gas boiler was safe. They were quick to come out, extremely professional but also very friendly and approachable. They cleared up after themselves and respected our home. This is how trades people should be. I will definitely be using Star in the future and would thoroughly recommend them.

Can't fault the service from Star, particularly Chris, today! Mitsubishi heat pump with issues - all sorted today with no parts required. He left me with heating and hot water, serviced everything and gave me recommendations I shall implement in future. He also made adjustments which should reduced energy usage and, therefore, those all-important bills!
If you have a heat pump, these are the guys to call!

Chris came out today to repair a leak in our underfloor heating. It wasn't a straight forward job and was in a tight space. Chris managed to adapt some fittings for our old system as the original parts are no longer available. Very pleased with the service

Used STAR for a couple of years now for servicing and repair of our air source heating. Friendly, efficient and good quality.

Excellent air source heat pump service today. Wasn’t rushed, loads of time taken, extremely polite and professional engineer who is a heat pump specialist. Much superior service than previous companies I have used, will be booking again for next year.

Absolute cowboys make a quote for parts and service subsequently declare the fire isn’t serviceable but proceed to charge for service plus parts not provided. Avoid maximum time they spent was 20 minutes but want 140pounds, incredible hourly rate for a non service or parts not provided

We called out Star Plumbing to sort out a leak on the hot water cylinder.
The problem is now solved although we are likely to have additional costs in future, mainly due to the age of the installation.
Very unfortunately the original bill was rather excessive and was queried.
Now have the revised and itemised invoice which is just over half of the original one
Normally our experience of Star Plumbing is that they do a good job and promptly. Hopefully the invoice glitch will not recur.

This company is extremely professional in everything that they do, The installers are well presented and turned up on time. No job was too difficult for them, and they remained on site until the work was completed!

Even though there was a problem with my last appointment, they dealt with it and in the end still sent someone for an ASHP service when they had double booked so as not to let me down. Appreciated.
