Stella Artois Avis 44

Just drank my first Stella for years having stopped when they dropped the ABV to make it more “English”. It’s absolutely awful. Won’t make this mistake again!

Arrived 5 mins late , our group had just gone through the doors , we could actually see them through the glass but security refused to open the door , very disappointing as I got the tickets as a surprise for my friends visiting from the uk . We are all students and money is short but I was told on following up there were very strict rules about times and no refund would be made or another trip offered, very poor service, would avoid at all costs 😥

i drink about 14 bottles of stella every week and yesterday i opened the bottle with my normal opener and when i did the top did not bend as normal and stuck in the opener. i put it to my mouth and felt it cut on my lip, when i looked at the bottle top , it was broken and all jagged. i fished the top out of bin and found the top with the top of the bottle stuck in it.
this could have cut me severely, what are you going to do about it, i have photos

I used to drink Stella Artois with a certain amount of pride,knowing I was ordering a Premium Quality Lager,. I am not a huge drinker ,but I enjoyed a Stella Artois when I did drink. For the last 2 years I have been drinking Stella Artois ,then saying to my self"Summit ain't right with that" After making various excuses ,such as It was out of date,it was stored incorrectly,bottles are better than cans,I actually looked into it and found that Stella Artois had reduced it's Alcohol content and been taken over by another company. Whatever has happened has resulted in a lager that now tastes like Dishwater. I am not alone,many of my friends feel the same. Alas Stella is no more.

Why that paper collar on the 25cl bottles? Make it easy to remove, or omit it altogether. It doesn't add much, except perhaps to make it look like a premium beer, but the flavor is too flat for that, lacking hops.

What has happened to stella? It is disguting!
Used to be such a great pint, great taste and a lovely creamy head. The stella now leaves a horrible after taste, its flat and the head disapears within 5 minutes of being poured. Spoke to the brewers and they ssid it was due to either dirty pipes, old glasses or the gas. But how can 5 different pubs have exactly the same issues, impossible!
What have the brewers done to this once superior beer?!!

The reduction in strength for this beer by a whopping 6% is one of the crazy changes they made the beer is more gassy and less creamy not worth the money as you can get crown beer for 4 cans 2.60 tastes the same and same strength

Tried Stella unfiltered after reading good reviews.Not bad but not as good as the Stella of the eighties. Reminded me of kronenbourg before Abev ruined it in the same way they have ruined Stella.

What on earth has happened to Stella Artois. It is now horrible. If it's not broken don't fix it!!! No taste nothing!!!. Hardly drinkable... yuk
You had a market which you will now lose. I tried to be slightly stronger but that got blocked it was only Idioots

I used to love Stella Artois. It used to be 5.2%. It was very hoppy, , had a very distinctive taste, had a dry finish. It was only lightly sparkling, had tiny bubbles, had a very Creamy head. It was a real delight. In 2004 my wife and I went on a European coach holiday. On the first night, we stayed in a hotel in Leuven, across the road from the Stella Brewery. What a lovely aroma was drifting over. Well, all went downhill when Interbrew, now Interbev,took over Stella. It is not just the twice reduced specific gravity that has ruined it, it is Interbevs intervention in the production .Interbev has taken over many famous breweries, that produced lovely, very tasty beers, and has reduced all of their products to bland, gassy, insipid so called beers. Every one of these supposedly different brands is now exactly the same. They all look the same. They all taste the same. If taste can actually describe them. They are all extremely gassy. Again, Stella used to be beautiful. Unusually, unlike many beers, it used to be exactly the
Same on draft as it was out of cold bottles and cans. I do miss the original Stella.

Please change Stella Artois back to the tasty 5.2% version. The new version is terrible, tasteless, just s**t.
My wife bought me a tray last week and I was disappointed! I've changed to Madri & Cruzcampo now.

Stella Artois used to be a refreshing drink with taste. The present version of it falls well short of both, even to say that it is almost undrinkable in comparison. Whatever it is you have changed change back you have lost my custom and Im sure that of many more. I now drink Budweiser.

I’ve not had Stella Artois in maybe 10 years it used to have taste good now it tastes like every other lager not to mention the lose of .6% alcohol. If you want to make a weaker blander bear that fine but can we keep the original please

4.6 % taste like poo. Mate dropped Stella box for testing his car. I was happy. Open can another day, taste like shi...t ,cold drink all can. Throw away.

Why have Stella changed their product it has gone from my favourite beer to something that turns on me ever since they lowered their alcohol percentage and changed their packaging it's got a horrible tang to it now and after drinking it for 20+ yrs don't think i'll be drinking it again the owners should be horrified at what they are producing now IT'S DISGUSTING.

Absolutely poor quality control. At one time, this used to be my favorite. Then I stopped drinking it as I moved on to craft beers and IPAs. Then decided to try Stella once again. I opened the case and my very first beer I pulled out...label is completely off. I took a video and photo. More than happy to share.

Can you please tell me why your alcohol free is more expensive than your alcohol
