Very useful resource
The content of the website is great. We find the way it is set up with forced progression really helpful (all our students are at different learning levels and yeas). The login and set up is quick and smooth. Would maybe be nice to have a slightly more modern look to the platform? But that's minor.
Students at our high school just find it a bit 'kiddy'.
However, they are still needing that low level literacy support, so they need the junior levels...

Our students are well engaged in Steps Web and the progress is clear to them and to teachers. Our school will be continuing to use Steps Web.

Feedback and automatic adjustment of the programme

A fantastic programme for young…
A fantastic programme for young learners, very engaging.
The students love the step man colouring comp. This beings out their creative side.
The team at steps web are super helpful and a pleasure to chat with.

Support
The support received for an issue I had wasn't enough. I am time poor and need a reader friendly quick fix to issues. Providing a variety of ways to solve a problem perhaps using visuals, Zoom meets or video links would be helpful. My issue hasn't been resolved.

The onboarding emails sent to you contain links to our Support Site and YouTube channel where you can find all the information you need to use StepsWeb including bite-sized how-to videos.
You are welcome to get in touch with us at any time so we can resolve any outstanding issues with your StepsWeb licence.
Harms Hands
Some of the words sound similar and it just isn't well executed. The way you input in some activities is brutal for trackpad users and not fun for anyone. Some people (me included) think the pronounciations are awful too.

To help with similar sounds, we recommend using headphones, as they can make distinguishing words easier. Additionally, clicking to hear the sentence can be helpful if you're unsure about a word.
We understand that using a trackpad can be challenging and slower. If possible, we suggest using a mouse or a touch device for a better experience.
If you could let us know which words you think are pronounced incorrectly, we'll definitely review them. Your input is valuable to us, and we're committed to making improvements.
