I bought a larger stock and they used to collect a huge percentage on every profits I made and leaving me with a small percentage. I complained about it and they sold half of my stock without my consent and kept the funds for themselves. I tried taking out the remaining stock but they blocked the access. I'm comfortable with how my account is moving on # gcasco # . They've been consistent, and withdrawals have worked every time.

I’ve been a customer for six plus years. I got an email a couple of weeks ago that they closing their brokerage and moving it to a company I’ve never heard of. I’m trying to transfer it to another company and need something from them to do so. They will not respond to emails. I cannot get anyone on their chat which is an AI. No one answers the phone. It’s not acceptable we got no notice and our money is being held hostage.

I am very disappointed because I closed out my account through email and now I don’t know what they did with my money because they blocked me from signing in plus every time I call customer service they make you wait all that time then it automatically hangs up.

Funds Held Hostage: UI Loop and Non-Responsive Support
I am unable to withdraw my settled funds from Stockpile because the platform contains incorrect banking information and provides no functional way to update or remove it. I have reached out via their support email and the in-app chat multiple times over several days and have been met with zero response.
It is unacceptable for a regulated broker-dealer to have a technical loop that prevents customers from accessing their own money while simultaneously offering no human support to resolve it. I have already filed formal complaints with FINRA (CRD# 156170) and the SEC. If you have money in this app, be warned: the "exit door" is effectively locked by a software bug they refuse to fix.
Locked Out of Account After Selling Stock
I have been trying to get someone, anyone, to reply to any of my emails with no luck, as there is no customer service phone number. My child had outgrown Stockpile, and transferring to another brokerage wasn't going anywhere with these providers, so we decided to sell the stocks and open a new account elsewhere. We are now locked out of our account and have no access to our funds, and we can't get anyone to respond. I filed a complaint with the BBB and Stockpile replied with a generic response that they have someone assisting me, which is an outright lie. I'm afraid we will now have to seek legal counsel in order to regain access to our account. We have used Stockpile for years and never had any issues until now. Do not give these people your money.

I turned the age of majority in my state, and the process to transfer the account has lasted around 3.5 months to this point. There has been numerous so called "technical issues" with little to no guidance on how to move forward. There was also a 1 month gap in which the company did not respond to a single email. To add to this, the original account was closed by them, and when attempting to transfer out with another brokerage it did not allow it. They also have not given me any new contact info. This is genuinely the worst company you could ever use for custodial accounts, use any other brokerage.
Ridiculous fees!
My investment was obliterated by their sudden and ridiculous fees. Rather than being a site to help young investors safely hold stock, they took advantage of their clients. Do not use this company unless you want to throw away your money. I am not sure how they justify these behaviors!
Do NOT trust Stockpile
1. They never notified me they were switching to a paid service and started charging me without notice for months. No notice. No receipt.
2. They will sit on your $. Their customer service said it would take 3 - 5 working days for a transfer OUT of stockpile. So far, it has been 7 working days. Two emails and two phone calls later, no money. CROOKS!!!

Excellent service
We worked with Krystal for several weeks helping me transfer my custodian account to my 21 year old grandson. We so appreciated her patience as my grandson was always slow to respond. She kept in contact and her attention to detail made the transfer happen. We are very pleased with our experience.

WITHOUT MY AUTHORISATION OR KNOWLEDGE, Stockpile re-opened an already closed account in an apparent attempt to avoid turning over my refund/disbursement to the appropriate state's unclaimed property division and/or as a reason of punishment due to the previous check sent not being cashed. As a result, this has been reported to FINRA, SEC, FBI, and other government entities.
As far as the 'Date of Experience', I have entered today's date of October 10, 2025 (the date of this online 1 star rating), as I'm unsure as to when the already closed account was illegally re-opened!
STOCKPILE IS URGED TO PERMANENTLY RE-CLOSE THE UNAUTHORISED RE-OPENED ACCOUNT!
