The guy doing the ad said the thing would not have a delivery charge but they added $9.98.

And slick way to tack on more junk with a 6 font " no thanks".

Pretty sure Kevin OLeary is a MAGA nut which explains a lot about this scam.

Bull shit scam. We saw the ad in Instagram and believed this guy with his scientific facts. So we ordered 3 which was the most common among people. When I hit check out then there was another offer for a 4th one at 24.00. Transaction was pending. Then we got a purchase for 34.00 but not the original 3.
Credit card company contacted us immediately letting us know it’s a scam. Cancelled our credit card.

Absolute fraud. This will make no difference to your bills

The ad I saw had a banner across the top stating 'UPDATE – StopWatt is currently sold out in most retail stores across the country. However, it may still be available on their website HERE.'
What a joke NO retail store would ever stock this cr*p.

Wir haben uns aus Spass so ein Teil bestellt. Es wurde elektrisch untersucht. Da ist ein Kondensatorpaar drin das unmöglich irgendeinen Einfluss auf den Energieverbrauch haben kann. Wir haben unterschiedliche Verbrauchen damit betrieben, Ergebniss ist absolut kein unterschied. Zudem ist die Verarbeitung alles andere als Betriebssicher. Kommt halt aus den USA. Dort ist man auch der Ansicht: Der grosse Blonde wäre nicht bekloppt.

I’m a regular guy with a regular job and it does not work . It doesn’t take Aero Engineers , and Certified Electricians etc lol to tell you it’s a scam.

I bought one and sure enough my home no longer consumes any electricity at all, in fact I don’t even have an electric bill since the damned thing shorted out causing an electrical fire that burned my house to the ground.

Complete rip-off from US billionaire. I was conned into buying this device expecting to save money on my electricity bill, however, it just cost me the price of this technological con.

It just doesn't work and if you are out of the US you can't return it. This is a scam. Do not buy it.

I’m a qualified electrician in the UK with my own business and I can tell you this item is a rip off DO NOT BUY!! you will be £40 worse off and you will not see any difference in your bills. This is (if it works) a filter plug which may offer some protection to sensitive electronic items. But these days any item of its worth will have built in filters/suppressors. This needs to be removed from advertising it’s one up from fraud!

Obviously a scam that's not going to do anything to lower your bills.

Last Dec I saw on Facebook a big sale on StoppWatt It said %85 off so I had this senior moment and ordered it. Then I saw it alot cheaper on Amazon, So when I recieved the parcel, I called the company to return it for a full refund, The lady answered and she said her boss said just keep it and I will get my refund I said, "I didnt expect that" Two weeks later no refund I called them and she said yes I got a full refund Dec 11 2024 . I checked my credit statrement Two weeks later I called again, they said yes I got the refund. I decided to send it back using UPS . Then a few weeks later I wrote to my credit card. They asked for all the details and I sent them the UPS receipts and when I contacted StoppWatt. It took a few months but I got my $117 refund. So that company lies and product I read does not work

I've just come across their on-line ad. The 'photo' accompanying the ad headline '...Cuts Your Electric Bill By Up To 40%' is of a UK style plug with the cable entry on the pin side of the plug, the earth wire (green/yellow) going to a terminal marked L, the neutral wire (blue) wiring to the position normally for the earth, no live wire (brown) at all, an uninsulated wire wrapped around the neutral and no strain relief for the incoming cable. I suspect the photo has been AI generated by someone with zero electrical knowledge or knowledge of UK electrical installations. Who knows what is inside the StopWatt device? Try it, what's the worst that could happen?

IF IT SEEMS TOO GOOD TO BE TRUE IT PROBABLY IS.

ps .. I wont buy one. I just detest scammers trying to scam out of our hard earned money. Dont buy it.

It's impossible for this product to influence an electricity supply. It's only influence is a risk to fire.

I'm a consultant aerospace engineer this product is clearly an utter scam. Do not buy it.

Stop Watt is a complete scam. It did ABSOLUTELY nothing to lower my electricity bill. It is nothing but BS.
