If he were white it would of have been racist!

I was accused of theft by someone named Green that is a theft prevention employee! Green is African American and he claimed he my kind because I am African American. I had Green call the supervisor and white supervisor did not correct Green in how he address me and situation. I never stole anything and Green could not prove it. Green first excuse is that I put the item in my pocket and then toke it?!?! If I did do that (which I did not) then the item would still be in the store and that would not be theft!! Green needs to be fired! I have recorded evidence of what happened!

Dishonest practices (sent us a used TV with previous owner's profile still intact)

We purchased a new 50" Toshiba smart TV today as a Christmas gift. The TV was delivered from Store number 1444 in Williamsburg," VA. Much to our deep disappointment and shock, the TV was used, repackaged as "new," still had the previous owner's profile, and had no manual, warranty card. We immediately contacted the customer service to arrange for a pick up. We tried to contact the Williamsburg, VA. Bestbuy store to speak with the manager about the store's dishonest and unprofessional conduct, but Bestbuy customer service told us that there was no way for us to call the store directly unless we drove to the location. This was our first time buying anything from Bestbuy. We are shocked by the inefficient, sub-par, dishonest practices by Bestbuy. We will not shop at Bestbuy. Unbelievable that a company like Bestbuy would tolerate such practices by one of its stores. For the record, our case number is 3493526306.

Purchased a $436 Dollar Samsung Ring

Purchased a $436 Dollar Samsung Ring. Was to be delivered in two days. Fed Ex gave the ring a tour of the west coast of the USA. Arrived very late. Secondly was to receive a $50 digital gift card..NEVER arrived. Stated email was wrong, however, they sent me all the other emails including requesting a review of the product. Horrible process and after our 7th call today, still can't get it resolved. Returning and will purchase from Amazon. Best Buy has lost all furture purchases from us.

BAD CUSTOMER SERVICE

Have full geek squad service but still had to pay $59.99 for the haul away of my old tv. We were given 3 separate appointments and none of those dates did anyone even let me know that were not coming. Today I spoke to ROCIO a supervisor who told me in no uncertain terms, that to reschedule that pick up of our old tv, we would have to pay $59.99 fee. At which point, I gave up after 3 different days of waiting home, and the useless phonecalls. What has happened to CUSTOMER SERVICE? WHAT HAS HAPPENED TO BEST BUY?

Freeek Squad

I bought an HP Laptop. That was my first mistake. Secondly, I used HP’s contracted service vendor, Best Buy (BB) in Downey, CA. We all get PC problems, Blue Screen Errors and such. However, I never had one that wouldn’t start up at all. I got an Operating System (OS) not found error. This was within the first week. Fortunately, when I bought this directly from HP, I had it configured with one drive for storage and one for the OS/programs. So, my work and stored files were saved. This is my lesson from using desktops. You can plug in several drives to expand storage capacity. However, for my HP error, I’m totally naïve. I’m a turn the key and drive type of PC user with laptops. I’m spoiled that way. I take for granted that somethings always going to work. Also, I’m vulnerable to what PC techs tell me as well. And when a customer is vulnerable, a business chooses to help or take advantage. The staff at the Downey BB chose the latter. BB called and said my HP was ready. As a bonus, I also got a rather harsh phone lecture from a very harpy-voiced associate for my lack of security. Further, she said this was the cause of all my laptop angst. I explained that I had HP’s installed virus software and paid for additional subscription time as well. She said this was an inferior program and that I needed a better one. Actually, she was correct about the quality and brand of virus scanning I had. Her annoying voice and attitude aside, she successfully upsold me a better virus software which I upgraded to a “total security” package as well. This is another lesson under my belt but my laptop GPA is still barely passing. What I learned next raised my GPA but lowered my trust considerably. When I picked up my HP, I got no further than the parking lot, when I decided to give it a try. It did the same thing. I went back in and told the freeek squad leader that a virus must still be in the BIOS system. He apologized and said it would be fixed. I left it again. I’m disappointed but not too much because “second time’s a charm?” Is that how it goes? I told one of my PC buddies and he said this particular error indicates a hardware problem rather than what the phone harpy told me earlier. I used another PC and Web-searched this. My bud was right. OS not found is from a faulty drive or the connections in between. BB called again and said it was ready. Upon arriving, I started it up at the counter. A message came up indicating a disk was left in the DVD drive. The tech saw this and said it was left in by mistake. “No problem” I said. However, when the startup continued, the same OS not found error happened. At this point I was told of the option to RMA it to HP directly for service. The drama continues in an HP review . . . soon.
