StoryDoc a great product with caring staff

I had originally written a poor review because I could not log into my account but I would like to say that the way customer services, especially Ana handled the issue I must change my review to a positive one. It is remarkable to find a company that will actually listen to a disgruntled client and fix the issue. I am so happy to be back using storydoc, which really is a first class online presentation system. Looking forward to creating some new masterpieces!

At the velocity we're all working at, Storydoc takes an idea and very quickly converts it into a powerful presentation. It would have taken me days to create the seamless presentation I received. Highly recommend!

Awesome Product backed with an Awesome Customer Service

I found this site through a google search

I found this site through a google search I originally thought it was going to be wayy more complicated but Im seriously shocked at how easy this was. I'm going to start using this for all my client pitches now. Its pretty user friendly not hard to navigate at all and the fact that you can use AI to help you within the platform is a hugee plus

Solid for quick turn 'presentation option'

I was pleasantly surprised with the efficacy here. I needed a pitch deck quickly for an interview and the platform provided that easily. Making changes to the deck was mostly straightforward. I would use it again for "...or if you prefer a different format, here's a presentation" - sort of an above-and-beyond addition to a doc.

Easily created my interactive deck with AI

I created a beautiful, interactive deck super easily. The AI helped me get started quickly, and there are lots of dynamic tools I can use to make my content stand out. Sharing is really simple, and the built-in analytics show me exactly who viewed my deck and what they looked at—so I know what works and what doesn’t. Love it.

Signed up to the software for 5…

Signed up to the software for 5 minutes, realised it couldn't work for my business because image uploads are limited to 5MB, and I need high quality images in a presentation for my business (especially given the price, you would expect high quality images to be a given for a high quality presentation at this price point).
Promptly cancelled and requested a refund, and was told they don't give refunds according to their policy.
I'm in the UK so it's my legal right to cancel a membership within 14 days for a refund, but apparently their internal policy overrules UK legislation!

Storydoc uses misleading billing practices

Storydoc uses misleading billing practices, locking access behind unexpected payments and automatically charging for additional users without clear disclosure. Their refusal to refund even unused seats shows a lack of transparency, and after this experience, we’ll never use Storydoc again and will strongly advise others to avoid it.

Deceptive Billing and Poor Product Quality

I subscribed for a one-month plan to use this AI pitch deck generator, expecting to download the final report in PowerPoint format but I was charged again the following month without my consent. They refused a refund, and to make matters worse, the only download option is a poorly formatted PDF that squeezes multiple slides onto one page, making it unusable. Beware of misleading billing practices and an inadequate product that doesn’t deliver as promised.

Just to clarify — Storydoc runs on a monthly subscription model that renews automatically unless canceled. This is clearly stated during checkout and in the confirmation email. If there was any misunderstanding, we're happy to review your case directly.

Regarding downloads: we currently offer PDF export and have recently added a print-friendly version that breaks the content into clean, individual pages for better offline use. You can also export with high-quality images to ensure your deck looks sharp in print or when shared.
