Stove Installer Avis 

Having moved home recently, we wanted to change 2 existing fires for Woodburner stove type fires.

A chance meeting with Chris whilst shopping in Sainsburys led to a home survey with David and he provided an excellent explanation of our options for fires and hearth etc.

The quotations came in within budget and the 1st fire was installed at the end of March 2022 (Brosley Gas Stove) and 2nd fire was installed early April 2022 (Hetas 45 Multi-fuel).

I would not hesitate in recommending David & Chris as they started on time each day, worked to the timescales with quality workmanship and area cleared once completed.

As for the finished jobs…..absolutely delighted.

I've just had a log burner installed by David and the team and I'm really happy with the job they've done. They were very friendly and professional throughout and clearly have a lot of experience. They were really careful to keep dust and dirt to an absolute minimum with all the carpet covered throughout. The whole job was completed very efficiently and the final result is fantastic and exactly what we were hoping for. David was really helpful in providing information and answering all my questions, plus he sent lots of pictures of previous jobs that were really useful in deciding what options to go for (hearth material, stove, oak beam, etc). As for the cost, I got several quotes and David's was by far the best.
Overall, I can highly recommend David.

10/10 I cannot fault this team at all. Really high standard of work with perfect finishes on both the fireplaces we had put in. Dave sourced us a log burner to our exact requirements and was very informative when it came to all the different hearth options providing lots of photos and examples. The attention to detail is superb and we are over the moon with the results.

David and his team have just completed our log burner installation including opening the fireplace, lining the chimney, installation of chimney pots , the stove, mantle and hearth. Great service, great price and really helpful and accommodating. Took us through safety guidelines, provided smoke detectors and showed us how to light and care for fires (the free wood pack was great touch). He is up-to-date on eco fires and safety

I came to David as I had been let down by the person I originally had to install the stove. Everything about his service is first class. He talks through all of your options and will advise you based on his experience but won’t push an option on you and won’t go ahead unless you understand and are happy. We thought that we would have it set up one way but with David’s guidance we went a different way and couldn’t be happier. He sourced the hearthstone and an amazing piece of wood for the mantel. David is understandably busy but I assure you that his work is worth the wait.

His attention to detail about getting the limestone surround perfect for our log burner was very impressive We wanted to mount our tv above the fire and he created a small ledge to deflect the heat from the tv
