My last two orders have been very…

My last two orders have been very disappointing. Why this company uses evri as their delivery service is beyond me. The last packet was damaged and gels exploded. My most recent package has not arrived and after sending 4 emails I have still not been offered the respect of a reply. Useless.

Incorrect information given by the retailer. The issue was only resolved after my original feedback on trustpilot was published. As I mentioned to them in my email correspondence I am grateful for the full refund, but my confidence in the brand has been lost due to then using evri as their main courier. I will not be back unless they part company with that particular courier.

Before this review was posted, we'd already been in touch and had fully resolved the issue within 6 hours of receiving your latest email, including providing the compensation you requested. We also appreciate your feedback about Evri and completely understand your frustration. As a result, we've offered you an alternative delivery option for future orders, although we're sorry to hear that the cost of DPD isn't a practical option for you.

Customer service is outstanding

Customer service is outstanding.

Unfortunately a Gel30 came popped in my training kit box and covered all the contents in a sticky mess. Following contact with Styrkr, they asked for a photo of the batch code, and then quickly issued a gift card for the full cost of the box and postage!!

Quick resolution, and great attention from Alex!

100% recommend Styrkr!

Very poor experience with the delivery service. Very poor customer service and return policy. Overall would not recommend this product or service.

Service subpar

An energy gel came popped in my first subscription and has left an awful sticky mess everywhere. It also leaked onto my drink mix and ruined a few of them as well.

When I contacted them for assistance all they offered me was a £5 gift card for the burst gel and didn’t even attempt to compensate for the drink mixes. I would’ve hoped they would’ve been keen to make a better first impression considering it’s my first order.

I’m sure the products are nice but I found the resolution a bit sub par considering the products are sold at a premium.

Excellent products

Bought the Welcome Pack and tried one of the Gels prior to a Hybrid training session this morning. Great taste (if a little sweet) but felt great throughout the session, no sickly feeling. Had one of the energy bars after the session and again tasted great 👍

Highly recommend especially if vegan lactose intolerant

I have purchased energy rice bars, protein rice bars and gels for over 6 months. Always tasty, easy on the stomach on 50km plus runs and keeps me fueled. Plus they are vegan

Protein bar isn't great

Protein bar isn't great. That's my first time trying it and it really upset my stomach somehow which isnt what I was looking for. I had it before going to the gym and it caused lots of stomach upset soon after. Shame :(

Terrible shipping and not great…

Terrible shipping and not great customer service

I placed an order in April, over a week in advance of an event I was attending, needed gels etc for the event. The order was late getting dispatched and delivery was also late, taking a full 7 days for delivery to be attempted.

When delivery was attempted, I chose the option to have the package left in the enclosed porch if nobody was in. However, I was in and the package just got left on the street with no actual attempt to deliver (I only know this from Evri's photo proof). Naturally i never saw the package as it was stolen.

When I raised this with customer services I got a refund which fair enough, but no offer of compensation for the bad experience or anything, which I would have expected given the ordeal. The agent seemed to try and blame it on Evri, but was it not Styrkr who decided to use such a notoriously bad courier as their shipping partner?

Styrkr were my staple for events and I used to highly recommend them to friends, haven't gone anywhere near them since. Last thing you need ahead of an event is to be let down like this.

Great taste, great performance

No complaints here, top quality fuel that tastes great and also does the job brilliantly. Trained for my first 20k race in the Lake District this year using styrkr fuel and I will definitely come back to their products for future projects.

Great products, poor service

Great products, very poor delivery and disappointing customer service.
Order turned up late (not next day) and damaged. I ordered the welcome pack and came with one Mix sachet and a packet of pillow cases!!!??
I ordered for an event and had to go out and buy alternatives. Eventually got a message saying another box was en route which arrived safe and I’m impressed with the product. Despite a further email, I’m yet to hear anything back. I’m out of pocket having bought twice now. Shame as I would have used again, not now. Hope this helps others.

Good products, terrible customer service.

Ordered a product and it was not delivered by the courier (courier said item destroyed in transit).
Have been on touch with styrkr but have not had this issue resolved 2 weeks after the item was meant to be delivered.

Had to message the instagram account just to get a response, however issue is not yet resolved two weeks later.

Shame as the products are good.

Amazing

Did not expect how awesome it turned out. Ordered a “Welcome Kit” and I honestly could not be happier with what I received. The macros are amazing, the taste is to die for( what a treat ) my new favourite brand.

Order not fulfilled. No response from Styrkr.

First time order from Styrkr to try out the products. Box arrived missing 2 items (gels). I emailed them to tell them, and left a message using the facility on their website. Absolute silence in response, except to try and sell me more product. Not even an acknowledgement they had received my messages.

Update: Upgraded to 4 stars as I was eventually sent a complimentary box of gels and the product itself is very good!

Best gels ever!!!

I have tried a few gels before like High5 but they were too sweet/ sickly and didn’t sit well on my stomach. Until I tried Styrkr taster box with the gels in for my upcoming marathon. I love the taste and the amount of carbs you can get in them, the taste is so nice but not too sweet just the perfect balance, I love that there is dual carbs in them and that you can get the gel50 and gel30 so I can alternate between them, the quality is amazing and no GI issues, minimal ingredients too :) . I am yet to tried the rest of my taster box but I am sure they will be great too 😀

Delivery is useless

Ordered on the 14th December next working day delivery. Still not delivered on the 23rd tracking says it went to depot n back to sender.

A number of gels arrived in a show box…

A number of gels arrived in a show box with a huge amount of padding, enough to keep the Titanic afloat for many days.

Huge amount of waste with their packaging, filling up half a sack.

The delivery looked more like a pair of wheels rather than a few gels, and that’s no exaggeration.

Seems excessive for a few gels and bars, when competitors can supply similar products with less than a quarter (or less) of the packaging.

I’ve come away thinking the quality is poor and STYRKR have spent more on their packaging than on the product.
