Fantastic item

Fantastic item - arrived early. Quality product. Cools all my bottles and cans efficiently. You can get numerous cans and bottles in it. Also came with wine rack which was an added bonus. Looks very stylish. Also very quiet. Highly recommend

Replacement Drinks Fridge

Had a Subcold fridge for just under 6 years and it packed up. This fridge was used for drinks and was always on and always full. Ordered a new one and paid more or less the same as I did 6 years ago. It was delivered free of charge within 2 days. Highly recommend the fridges and the company.

Bought two fridges and a freezer off…

Bought two fridges and a freezer off the website and would highly recommend. One of the fridges was missing a foot and the other the bracket was faulty and I was sent a replacement for both straight away. Customer service is brilliant!

Quality product from Subcold.

Qualified for next day delivery. Arrived early and set up was easy. Pretty much plug and play. Beers were cold by the evening. It is very quiet when at temperature but it does buzz quite loud when chilling. Overall a great product.

AVOID THEIR MINI FRIDGES AT ALL COST!
Having purchased one of their mini fridges in August 2024, it lasted around ten months before just stopping cooling at all. I received a replacement which then lasted another eight months before failing again with exactly the same reason. When I raised this with the company they explained that they would not cover as I was only covered under guarantee from the original purchase date. When I said there was clearly an issue with the product itself and wished to complain they would not provide an escalation route at all and I was very bluntly told that they would not consider my complaint any further as not under warranty! Appalling service and clearly an issue with this particular product which they are clearly just ignoring. DO NOT BUY!

Fridge arrived damaged

Fridge arrived damaged, contacted customer service to be told that's not a dent or damage, even though there is clearly a dent and a crease in the fridge, got told that's how they are manufactured basically as thats from the the foam expanding and variations in the panel happen.
Not happy in the slightest with the response or attitude from them, not what I expected a brand new item to arrive like, would have expected if second hand or even refurbished.

As previously explained, the light crease you’ve mentioned can occur during the foaming process in manufacturing and is not considered damage. We appreciate this may not meet your expectations, and we did offer a £10 goodwill gesture to help resolve this, however we’ve not yet received a response.

Quick delivery, quality product

The fridge was delivered really quickly after ordering. I did worry that it might have been damaged as the box was a bit damaged when it arrived, but inside it was well wrapped and undamaged. The fridge looks amazing and appears to be operating well too

Wrong colour received.

FINAL UPDATE!
My new beautiful pink and white mini fridge came this morning - less than 24 hours after speaking with Subcold.

I’m thrilled. It’s beautiful, it’s quiet, all is harmonious 😍

Thank you Subcold for getting this sorted out. I’m just sorry it was such a palaver. I really appreciate you coming through for me though.

UPDATE 2:
I’m updating this review and scoring again because less than an hour after leaving my first update (below) a very nice person from Subcold actually rang me to try and sort out my issues and to apologise for the lack of reply to my initial emails about this.

I appreciate this very much. We discussed the fate of my earlier emails, confirming I’d used the right routes. She will be looking into their processes to make sure this doesn’t happen again for anyone.

She also offered a replacement mini-fridge in the right colour, which I gratefully accepted, so peace and harmony may once again reign over the sick room 😌.

I fully accepted that this has been a series of unfortunate mistakes - this is real life and they happen. By reaching out to me personally Subcold have shown that they’re not just a drop shipping front, but are a UK company with the will to do right by their customers. I would shop with them again. Thanks Subcold.

Ordered a pink and white mini fridge to suit room decor. Received a black fridge. Not at all happy, but unfortunately my health is too bad to subject myself to the inevitable argument with them about this and the hassle of having to return it, if they eventually agreed to this. Also, delivery date on website when ordering bore no relation to actual delivery date. Very inconvenient after husband took day off to receive it.

UPDATE: I have now reached out to Subcold FOUR times through different channels and have had NO REPLY.
Just for context - I know this sounds petty “ooh my mini fridge came in the wrong colour!” But I’m disabled and mostly bed bound. I spend most of my life in this room. I’ve deliberately decorated it in positive colours that lift my spirits. And now I have a black blob of despair in my peripheral vision.

Very helpful when we made a mistake

Our original order via Amazon was delivered on time etc but, due to our bad measuring, was the wrong size.
I got in touch with Subcold and quickly realised that they were about an hour away from us
They assisted us in ordering the correct size and were happy for me to exchange in person. Once there the staff were friendly and very helpful, lifting the fridges out and back into the car for me and arranging the refund of the first order.
