Habe im Kaufland Norton gekauft. Leider ist die Freude getrübt. Habe diese Software geladen, mit dem Code
den ich beim Kauf erhalten habe. Ja, denkste.
Immer wieder kommen Meldungen, es ist nur eine Testversion. Keine Chance dort rein zu kommen.
Kaufland nimmt die Software nicht mehr zurück!
Und nun? Kauft bloß nicht bei Händlern. Das Geld ist futsch. Kann nur davor Warnen!

Inkompetenter Kundenservice

Es kann doch nicht sein, dass die Sicherheitssoftware Norton Antivirus undurchsichtige Warnmeldungen für den User produziert, die nicht einmal die Berater des Kundensupports verstehen. Gerade Warnmeldungen mit einem hohen Sicherheitsrisiko dürfen für den User keine Black Box sein. Noch schlimmer finde ich es, wenn der Berater mich bei nochmaligen Nachfragen einfach auflaufen lässt und auflegt. So geht es nicht. Das ist unhöflich und unfair.
Zuvor hatte ich mich schon per Mail mit einer ausführlichen Dokumentation an den Norton Kundensupport gewandt. Bis heute habe ich keine Antwort erhalten. Daher bin ich verunsichert, was die Norton Sicherheitssoftware betrifft, gerade in Zeiten zunehmender Sicherheitsrisiken im IT-Bereich. Ich erwarte von einem Unternehmen wie Norton, dass es auf solche Fragen sensibel reagiert und mich ausreichend informiert.

Norton Support IGNORE ENDING FREE TRIALS

Hello Norton Support,
I have not had a reply from you re my last email to you. (above)
This is unacceptable to me - as it would be to you also.
I am writing now to let you know that the last device on which I put your Norton 360 30-day trial version was a renewed laptop from Amazon which proved to be defective so I have returned it to Amazon and was not able to do a factory reset to wipe al my apps off the machine (including your Norton 360 product) and so it may appear at your end as if I am still using the Norton 360 product on that machine until Amazon wipes the machine clean.
I am not.
I have accountably let you at Norton know (see my above several emails to you) that I AM DISCONTINUING with any Norton products as of the 9th February 2026 (10 days before the end of the 30-day trial on the 19th February 2026) and, as such, no monies are due from me to NORTON ON THE 19th February 2026.
I have uninstalled your Norton Product from my two other devices and let your questions re why tell you why i am no longer staying with NORTON SO YOU HAVE ALL THAT CLEARLY TOLD TO YOU AND RECORDED AT MY END..
I have, as well, blocked my debit card from being allowed to have ANY monies paid to Norton on the 19th February 2026 ,or on any other date, at my bank.

In this experience, of you Norton, refusing to answer my several emails to your Norton Support, (above) you, Norton, have demonstrated you are willing to act unprofessionally and without due care to the nor mal courtesy needed to be offered to ALL your clients - potential as well as actual.
As a result, I will now buy from a more reliable Virus Protection Company.

I HAVE JUST SEEN IN MY BANK STATEMENT THAT NORTON TOOK £34 OUT OF MY ACCOUNT ON THE 20TH FEBRUARY 2026.

I EMAILED YOU AT NORTON SUPPORT SEVERAL TIMES (SEE PREVIOUS EMAILS) TELLING YOU CLEARLY I WAS UNINSTALLING THE NORTON 360-PLUS PRODUCT FROM MY THREE DEVICES BEFORE THE END O0F THE 30 FREE TRIAL PERIOD ENDED ON THE 19/2/2026.

NORTON HAVE TAKEN MONIES OUT OF MY ACCOUNT AGAINST MY EXPLICIT (IN TIME) INSTRUCTIONS.

THIS IS THEFT, AT LAW.

NORTON HAVE ALSO NOT REPLIED TO ANY OF THE EMAIL SENDS IN PREVIOUS EMAILS.

THIS IS DISCOURTESY AND UNPROFESSIONALISM.

MY BANK HAS NOW REFUNDED MY £34 STOLEN FROM ME BY NORTON ON THE 20TH FEBRUARY 2026 AND WILL RECOUP THAT STOLEN MONIES DIRECTLY FROM NORTON.

I HAD BLOCKED NORTON AT MY BANK BUT NORTON USED A DIFFERENT IP ADDRESS TO GET ROUND THAT AND STEAL MY MONEY AGAINST MY EXPLICIT AND IN-TIME NOTIFICATIONS OF MY NOT WISHING TO CONTINUE WITH NORTON BEYOND THE 30DAY FREE TRIAL PERIOD.

THIS BEHAVIOUR OF NORTON IS UNACCEPTABLE TO ME AS IT SI TO MY BANK - THE CO-OPERATIVE BANK UK))

I HAVE NOW NOTIFIED NORTON OF THIS LATEST STATE OF PLAY, AS IS MY RESPONSIBILITY AT LAW.

Sadly, I cannot recommend Norton

Sadly, I cannot recommend Norton as it is impossible to contact a human when a problem arises. Answering my specific question, the Chatbot was useless. Norton had whipped away my renewal payment weeks before expiry, I cancelled the subscription immediately, but Norton hasn’t reimbursed with similar haste. I can only hope that the refund will arrive eventually. Their behaviour just seems immoral.

Avoid this company at all costs

I used their VPN app for a month under free trial. Once trial was done, I cancelled 3 days before, however Nortons still charged me. Despite contacting customer service who were utterly useless. I am still being charged for a service I am not using. As of now, my bank is launching an investigation.

I will NEVER do business again with this deceitful company

Norton sells you ultimate package and then say you need an upgrade…

So I was attacked the guy was released my phone began to magnify the screen when in certain areas.. the guy had had access to both phone and network.. bought Norton package plus to stop any hackwork
That was May @ £28.98 for Norton AntiVirus Plus
For phone and PC
It helped reduce the zoom a little so at least i could manage to use the phone
Then on catch up day I installed on PC and got charged £84.99
I was a bit confused made an enquiry.. case number 95055355.. money was refunded .. you buy from Apple you buy from Norton confusion - they said the apple purchase did not cover phone and pc.. my email confirmation of purchase said it did.. anyway

Smart Scan in September made me wonder if I was protected at all.. apparently I needed an update to buy an update... but this was supposed to be ultimate package.
Now they want me to give them more money.. the package was bought in May.. we are still January
I think I need protection ....from Norton

⭐ Recensione tecnica su Norton 360 Advanced — Esperienza gravissima, software invasivo e potenzialmente dannoso

Ho acquistato Norton 360 Advanced convinto di installare una suite di sicurezza moderna, affidabile e professionale.
Quello che ho ottenuto è stato invece un prodotto invasivo, instabile, aggressivo commercialmente e tecnicamente pericoloso per il sistema operativo.

🔴 INTERFACCIA OBSOLETA E SISTEMA INVASIVO

Appena installato, Norton presenta un’interfaccia antiquata e confusionaria.
Un software del 2024 non può sembrare fermo a oltre vent’anni fa.
In più, il continuo flusso di popup invasivi e notifiche aggressive lo rende quasi inutilizzabile.

🔴 PROMESSE FALSE: “SUITE COMPLETA”, MA TUTTO A PAGAMENTO

Il pacchetto viene venduto come soluzione completa “Advanced”.
In realtà appena si prova ad utilizzare le funzioni più importanti, ecco cosa succede:

funzioni bloccate

upgrade richiesti

offerte a pagamento continue

strumenti essenziali sbloccabili solo pagando ancora

Non è sicurezza informatica.
È marketing mascherato da antivirus.

🔴 DANNEGGIAMENTO DIRETTO AL SISTEMA

Qui inizia la parte grave e inaccettabile.
Dopo l’installazione il mio sistema Windows ha iniziato a segnalare:

✔ “Nessun antivirus rilevato” anche se Norton era installato
✔ PC indicato come “non protetto”
✔ conflitti con i servizi di sicurezza di Windows
✔ instabilità dell’avvio del sistema

Dopo aver deciso di disinstallarlo, la situazione è peggiorata.

🔴 DISINSTALLAZIONE NON CORRETTA E COMPORTAMENTO SOSPETTO

Nonostante una disinstallazione “ufficiale”, Norton ha:

❌ lasciato file nascosti
❌ lasciato servizi attivi
❌ lasciato voci nel boot di avvio del PC

Il risultato è stato devastante:
ogni volta che accendevo il computer compariva una voce di boot denominata:

“Norton Antivirus Clear Uninstall (C:\Windows)”

Questo significa che Norton ha modificato l’avvio di sistema inserendo una procedura di boot proprietaria.
Un antivirus NON ha alcun diritto di alterare il boot manager in questo modo.

Ho dovuto intervenire manualmente tramite:

Configurazione di sistema

Gestione BOOT

Eliminazione configurazioni residue

Pulizia servizi collegati

Parliamo di procedure che un utente normale non dovrebbe MAI essere costretto a fare.

🔴 RISULTATO

Ho perso ore.
Ho rischiato seriamente di compromettere un computer da 2000€.
Ho lavorato più per riparare Norton che per utilizzarlo.

Un antivirus deve proteggere.
Norton 360 Advanced ha solo:
❌ generato problemi
❌ lasciato residui
❌ compromesso l’avvio di sistema
❌ creato confusione
❌ chiesto altri soldi

🔴 CONCLUSIONI

Software aggressivo.
Invasivo.
Commercialmente scorretto.
Tecnicamente pericoloso.

Un prodotto venduto come “premium” che si comporta come un malware travestito da antivirus.

👉 Chiedo rimborso completo.
👉 Chiedo che queste pratiche vengano riviste.
👉 Sconsiglio Norton 360 Advanced a chiunque tenga al proprio PC.

Un’azienda seria dimostra di esserlo quando risolve problemi, non quando li crea.

Never buy from this company

Never ever buy this product and expect a good support i cancelled my auto renewal and still they took the money 89.99 out of my account and now im asking for a refund i have had 8 calls from 01200 number which is norton but they never talk. Its a shocking support and i will never use again once i have my money back

Deranged customer service like most companies

The same as all companies now where they are trying to send you insane being subjected to speaking to AI or a foreigner who takes 10 minutes between me sending a message and them replying, we should all boycott any company that treats customers like cattle. It is totally unacceptable to be forced to live this way. It is like living in an asylum these days trying to do the simplest of things.

SE KOPIERAT OMDÖME:Felaktig fakturering
I september meddelade jag Norton att de fakturerade mig felaktigt för sin tjänst eftersom jag inte använde Norton längre, men jag kunde inte logga in på mitt konto eftersom jag inte längre hade tillgång till den e-postadress som fanns på mitt konto.

De bad om ursäkt och betalade tillbaka beloppet. Spola fram en månad och de har återigen debiterat mig. Försökte kontakta via chatt och ingen glädje - uppmaningarna är automatiskt genererade och fick inte det svar jag behövde.

Jag kommer nu att behöva bestrida transaktionen med mitt kreditkortsföretag och kämpa för att få tillbaka mina pengar..... Skräp Kundservice

Norton 360 causes my computer to reboot

Norton cannot diagnose an issue with Norton 360 and been going in since September 2025, on four occasions they've tried running checks on Windows which never shows any errors.
I've shown them how it's one of their files causing the issue - this goes ignored each and every time.
Even speaking with second level support leads them to running exactly the same check with Windows and nothing with their own product.
At least Amazon we're gracious to give me a refund Norton seem intent to keep me going around in circles.

Don't allow remote access

For some reason the system wouldn't record the security code for my credit card. When I tried to rectify matters on their chatline I made the fatal mistake of allowing remote access to the operator. Not only did he fail to correct the fault but he messed up all my systems and I had to get someone in to rectify matters

Incorrect billing

In September I advised Norton that they were incorrectly billing me for their service as I didn't use Norton anymore but I couldn't log into my account as no longer had access to the e-mail address that was on my account.

They apologised and refunded the amount. Roll forward a month and they have again debited me. Tried to contact through chat and no joy - the prompts are auto generated and didn't get the answer I needed.

I am now going to have to dispute the transaction with my credit card company and fight for my money back.....rubbish customer service

Manipulative service

Very poor. Norton keeps on trying to scare people, by saying how this PC is in danger of viruses if you don't subscribe. Also, they keep on sending annoying popups, large ones on the bottom right screen.

Norton ist nicht vertrauenswürdig

Trotzdem ich die automatische Abo-Verlängerung nicht eingeschaltet habe hat Norton mir ca. 1 Monat vor Ablauf der Lizenz meiner Kreditkarte die Jahresgebühr für Bes 2026 belastet. Ich habe die Lizenz per Mail gekündigt. Die Kündigung wurde von Norton bestätigt. Jetzt habe sie automatisch meine Lizenz um3 Monate verlängert.

Un HORROR de anti-virus, notificaciones molestas y continuas en las que autopromocionan sus productos, para eso me descargo un anti-virus gratis.
