Surrey and Hampshire HGV Training Avis 

I went with this company as they said they had a recruitment program and would find you a job. Spoke to them after my cpc as I was qualified to drive a 7.5 ton lorry. Was told someone would contact me,no one ever did so I found my own job and It wasn’t until I got there for my first day of training that I realised they are just a broker nothing more. It wasn’t until I got to Dunsfold and frantically looking for Hampshire hgv training and found gs driver training and was told they are only a broker. The only good thing they did for me was book my training through gsdrivertraining.com. Go to gs driver direct and save yourself some money..

After weeks of calling HGV driver training companies and not getting any response or feeling like I wasn’t being taking seriously, I came across Surrey and Hampshire HGV Training. Tom has been amazing, I have called him so many times and nothing is ever a problem. He is keen to explain the process, what is needed and when you can expect to pass by. Rachel is also there for you all the time and is so helpful when it comes to questions or booking in tests, etc. I was keen to pass ASAP and did express this to Tom - my forms and starter pack arrived with me the next day! What else can you ask for?! I have now passed all my theories and will be taking my Class 1 test at the end of March. Couldn’t recommend Tom and the team enough, down to earth people and honest! If you are thinking about taking your HGV test, ring Tom!

I booked my training through Surrey and Hampshire HGV Training last year and have just passed my test on the first try.

They were very helpful getting everything booked including my driver medical and my theory test. I had a long wait to get on to the practical training, due to the volume of people currently doing LGV and HGV training, but I was kept up to date with my progress throughout the wait.

I was booked with one of their partners 1st Castle, who were very good, my instructor Andy was very knowledgeable and friendly and I got a pass first time!

Very Disappointed with the CPC training and testing (or lack of).
I got hardly any training and the test was a joke. Examiner was over half an hour late and didn’t even bother examining just passed everyone.

When I emailed to complain Covid was the excuse used (surprise, suprise).

I feel that they robbed me of £379 and I have no training to show for it.

They are closing, so the lack of care is most likely because they’ve lost their jobs. This is very unfortunate and I was sorry to hear this but it is not an excuse to take peoples money and not provide the service which was payed for.

Passed both my C and C+E first time. My instructors were friendly, knowledgeable, patient and focussed on areas I needed to develop in order to pass.

I can't fault the service I received from the team. Everyone is very helpful and friendly and with you every step of the way. Rachael was amazing at getting me booked in for the theory tests, the practical courses and promptly kept me up to date so I knew exactly what was happening and what I needed to do. When it came to the practical training my instructor, Steve, was top draw. He is very patient, easy to get on with and explains things very clearly. I am pleased to say that I passed first time with the training I received and would highly recommend the team to anyone else that is looking to obtain their HGV licence(s)

I had an excellent experience with Surrey and Hampshire HGV training. After only 4 days training with no previous experience driving a hgv I passed with only 2 minors. I had Tony as an instructor and was a brilliant teacher can not recommend him or this company enough.

I had my HGV training with Tony from Surrey and Hampshire HGV training. I drove an HGV for the first time last Thursday and my training continued on Friday, Tuesday and today. My test was at 09:45 this morning and I am pleased to say that I passed first time. Thank you to Tony for being soo patient. He never once raised his voice even when he had to repeat the same thing to me many times in those 3 and a bit days. His tone stayed the same which made me feel relaxed and comfortable. Rachael, who my company and I had to deal with with over the last few months has been great. Prompt replies to emails and requests. I highly recommend Tony and Surrey and Hampshire HGV training. They are very professional.

After completing my C and C+E, I would love to thank all the instructors who had the effort to and the pacience to help pass it. Highly recommend this brilliant team for your challenge getting your lorry licences. Thank you very much to both Steve's and Karen who were more than 5* with me. Really good training, passed my class C first time with Steve in September, and passed my C+E first time with the guidance of Steve and Martin in May. Both fantastic trainers really nailed it into my head what to do

Although I passed my class2 with Surrey & Hampshire I felt my experience with my instructor had a lot to be desired, but all in all I passed & that’s what counts!
