My son has had lessons with Edward and Scarlett. They are both professional and have a great approach to teaching swimming techniques. My son has dyspraxia so takes longer to pick some things up and needs a particular approach, which they have been happy to accommodate.

A fantastic swimming experience for my son, who is showing progression already. Highly recommend.

Edward and Scarlett were excellent with our 2 kids, providing tailored sessions that improved their skills and confidence. Edward was really sensitive to our son, who was very nervous and uncooperative to begin with, he got him swimming and enjoying himself, which was great. Edward was flexible and accommodating in the face of pool breakdowns and wasp stings!

Edward has a very calm and kind manner and helped me relax my technique to be less of a fight and more of a long pleasant process. At the end of a couple of lessons the sensation of drowning at speed was mostly gone! I recommend to anyone who finds that swimming is exhausting but they’re not sure why!

I was looking for a one off session to tweak my technique before a triathlon and Edward delivered the goods- clear, comprehensive coaching, and I felt so much more confident. He was polite, professional and helpful. Couldn’t recommend him enough. Thank you!!

I had some lessons with Edward to improve my swimming technique and learnt a huge amount from him. It was particularly encouraging to see vast improvements after every session. Edward is always patient and encouraging, I’d recommend him to anyone!

Our 5 year old son started swimming with Edward after struggling to concentrate long enough to learn anything in group lessons. Edward has been wonderfully patient with him and managed to get him to pay attention long enough to actually make progress, which we are delighted about. We were initially unsure about the additional cost of private lessons, but our son has improved more in a few weeks with Edward than he did at months of group lessons, which makes it more than worth it. It’s also great to see him learning to swim properly and we are pleased that Edward doesn’t just let him splash around but is introducing an element of technique from the start, which we hope will set him up well for being a strong swimmer later in life. We would definitely recommend Edward as an experienced and extremely patient instructor.

Our 6 year old son who is autistic as well has been having lessons with Edward for about 2 months now, and he has improved a lot, is more confident in water and he loves his swimming lessons with Edward, unlike before when he was doing group sessions, and was finding it very challenging. Edward is extremely thoughtful and patient with our son, and has tailored his teaching lessons to meet his needs, as he can be a bit defiant sometimes, wanting to do what he wants to do, and saying no to whatever else he doesn't want to, haha.. but its a joy to see his swimming happily along.
We are very happy with the improvements so far, and we would highly recommend Edward's excellent services , more so if you have a little one with challenging needs, as for our own, he has been helped greatly.

I wasn't very confident in water but wanted to change this state of affairs so that I can keep up with the grandchildren who all swim like dolphins. With Edward's help I have improved so much. I never thought I would ever be able to swim front crawl or enjoy doing it! Edward is unfailing calm and his teaching technique is excellent.

Edward is a very encouraging and insightful teacher. I was shy about taking lessons as an adult but I'm glad I took the plunge. Edward is able to communicate in a clear and friendly way and his enthusiasm for swimming shines through. My freestyle greatly improved after just a few lessons. Highly recommended.

Ed has been fantastic. He is extremely patient with our three kids who don’t always listen and they really enjoy their lessons with him.

Ed is our third swimming instructor and is by far the best. The kids have made more progress in just a few weeks than they have in several years with other instructors.

Edward is wonderful teacher. His love of swimming shines through in his teaching, whether he is teaching children or adults. I have had one-to-one classes with Edward with the aim of improving my freestyle technique, and my children have had beginners' classes with him. My girls describe him as the best teacher ever! He has a calm and thoughtful approach to teaching, and he encourages his students with warmth. I would highly recommend to anyone and everyone.
