This was our fifth Swimtrek
This was our fifth Swimtrek, and the first in Croatia. It was, for me, the best of them all. The reasons for saying this are quite simple, the team (Hamish and Kim) was brilliant, the other swimmers - each and everyone of them was a treat to be around, and the location, which was sublime. I felt safe, cared for, and treated with outstanding respect. Whatever Swimtrek is doing to recruit and train their staff, it's working exceptionally well. Brilliant.

Week of swim and fun in Croatia
It was our fifth Swimtreck holiday, first time in Croatia. As usual, the guides were super professional, caring for everyone needs and fun. We were 15 swimmers of mixed abilities and everyone found the swimming group/speed that suited them. Great boat crew and snacks in the boat. As vegetarians, food choice is not always great in Croatia but it’s not too bad. Kornati Islands gave us beautiful coastal swims, with warm water and very good visibility underwater (decent marine life). We’ve already booked our next Swimtreck holiday!

Wow, wow, wow. So many pinch me moments. Hamish and Kim couldn't do enough for us, the boat crew were so professional and fun (bring on the party boat) and the meals on the boat at lunchtime were fabulous ( and not forgetting Kim's Cafe). Everything went seamlessly all week (even though the weather wanted in on the planning). My first Swim Trek adventure but certainly won't be the last. The swims, the colours of the water, the water temperature, and the fabulous company of people from around thr world made this an unforgettable week

The guides Hamish and Kim
The guides, Kim and Hamish and the boat captain, Vid and the “professor” Mihal. They were so welcoming and efficient and just practical with any changes in weather. They exposed us to local food and restaurants and had trivia games in the evenings. Just a great experience!!!

Return trip to the Kornati Islands
This was a return trip to the Kornati islands for me. I loved my first Swimtrek holiday there (three years ago) so much that I wanted to repeat it, and I'm very glad I did. It's the perfect holiday. The hotel is idyllically situated, perched above a quiet, crystal-clear bay. The swims are fantastic, all around the beautiful Kornati islands and in the national park. It really is a gorgeous environment to swim in. Our brilliant guides Hamish and Kim took excellent care of us, including some of the most detailed, positive and constructive stroke feedback I've ever experienced. The boat crew are lovely, generous, welcoming people who made us feel at home on their fabulous boat, and the lunches on board were great. For most of the week we had perfect weather, with one stormy day - the guides and crew worked extremely hard to adjust plans for the constantly-changing weather that day, and despite a very dramatic storm they made sure that we had an enjoyable and satisfying time while staying safe. They were very impressive - if they were worried about the weather, it didn't show! A few of us took up the opportunity to help pick grapes in the family vineyard (owned by the extended family of the boat crew) on our free afternoon. It was a lovely experience for a couple of hours, and a chance to see a different side of island life. I also had a night swim with another guest to check out bioluminescent plankton in the bay and enjoy a beautiful starscape from the water. Altogether it was a fantastic week with so many memorable moments. Big thanks to Hamish and Kim, the boat crew, and everyone at Swimtrek who works so hard to make these fantastic holidays happen. I don't think it will be my last time in the Kornati islands.

Truly amazing experience
A fantastic way of meeting new like minded people. Everything was so well organized both prior and during trip. Fantastic coaches keen to spread their knowledge and passion for swiming to all participants. Eventhough we where at different levels within the group it was my impression that everyone felt included. A truly amazing experience. Can’t wait to book my next SwimTrek trip!

Swimtrek Kornati Islands…
Coming back from the Kornati Islands after a superb week of swimming in clear seas. Would like to put in a mention for our great guides Hamish and Kim who created such a positive vibe for the group to feel so well looked after. Hamish is calm, competent, amusing and clear - not at any time did we have to worry about anything or doubt that we were in the best of hands! Kim was so warm and welcoming and high spirited. Team players! SwimTrek attract the best and that difference counts for so much for group dynamics. The Kornati island trip speaks for itself - gorgeous seas and a stunning 1930s wooden boat to add!

Swimtrek have everything covered. The hotel may not be the most luxurious but it will be in the most incredible location with an amazing view. The guides are amazing - nothing is too much trouble and their upbeat positivity really makes the trip. It is all like minded people doing what we love - 5 star experience

I went on my first swimtrek trip to the Kornati islands, guided by Hamish and Kim, and accompanied by a fantastic local boat crew. The whole experience was just fabulous. Beautiful swimming locations and nice nature in the national park, felt super safe at all times, and we were also really spoiled with nice food and drinks. 100% recommend the guides, place and experience

Our guides and their team went above and beyond to make our week the best that it could be. Their communication was excellent from beginning to end, whether for swim briefings, technique support or restaurant suggestions. Their commitment to our safety was evident throughout the week. The boat trips were great, the swims were amazing and the food surpassed expectation, both on the boat and in the local restaurants. The photos the guides managed to capture of us all having the best time, were brilliant! The smiles say it all! 😊
