Simon and his team were a fantastic addition to our 1920's party. From ease of booking and helpful tips pre-event, to some fantastic dance demos and interactive dance sessions on the night. Our guests absolutely loved learning a few Charleston dance moves! Thank you, you made our evening extra special!

The experience was fantastic. Simon, an excellent instructor, guided us through the movements repeatedly in class, helping us retain them for a long time. The atmosphere was vibrant and full of energy. I’m looking forward to attending again.

From beginning to end, the Swing Dance workshop was an absolute delight. Our instructor's enthusiasm and energy were contagious, and their patience with all participants was truly commendable. The session featured a diverse mix of dances and music, ensuring that everyone thoroughly enjoyed themselves!

Simon was an absolute dream to work with! My husband and I reached out to Simon to help prepare a surprise dance for us for our Old Hollywood themed wedding and we couldn't have been happier with the process and result! Simon is professional, attentive, and always brings positive energy. Neither of us had any experience with couples dancing or swing, but Simon’s patience and skills guided us perfectly in the right direction. We couldn’t have been happier with both the process and the result!

We have joined as online members, and are really enjoying the prerecorded courses.

There is a shed load of content available and the the classes are just what we were looking for.

It was the wonderful experience. Simon is a great teacher. We practice our movements for several times in the classes, and can remember for a long time. It is a good atmosphere with passion. Definitely will join next time.

Simon is a lovely, knowledgeable teacher. He demonstrates and tailors his advice just right for each individual.

I chose to treat myself to some 1 to 1 dance tuition with Simon. I knew I wanted to improve my dance techniques, but wasn't sure what I needed to focus on. Simon intuitively understood where my weaknesses were, he took me through some basic principles both in how I needed to move in response to a lead, the different points of contact hands and arms. Rhythm and syncopated beats, these are subtle things but really important for improving my experience in dance. I will be back in the New Year

I cannot tell you how wonderful it having a dance class incorporated into my daughter's 18th birthday party!! Honestly, Niall was brilliant. And his assistant, Amelia, was lovely and fabulous too. Niall (and Simon who did the booking) was a consummate professional from start to finish, from speaking with me on the phone to plan the timeline, to working with the playlist, to working with the types of moves the birthday girl wanted, to showing up in great time to set up. The dance class itself was such fun - all the kids were in black tie but it was a great way to get the kids from different worlds to mix. At first, there were some kids who seemed a little reluctant and too cool for school. But very soon, they saw how fun it was and joined in. They didn't end up really doing the moves much after the "class" when they were dancing, but it got them on the dance floor in the first place, and it was ok as it was such a perfect ice breaker early on in the party. My daughter had specially set up pairings so people who didn't know each other could meet, and that was how the bulk of the lesson went, but then Niall suggested they changed partners and some did, but the pairings who were happy together stuck together which was the plan so it all worked out brilliantly.

The Swing Dance workshop was fantastic from start to finish. The instructor was extremely enthusiastic, full of energy and at the same time was very patient with our members.

The Workshop incorporated a great variety of different dances and music and everyone had fun!

Simon's a great teacher. After just one class I began to understand the mechanics of the dance - not just what to do, but why I was doing it. It obviously takes time to make a dance your own, but this is a great start. Simon is very patient and has a keen eye for what needs to be tweaked as you go along. I'm attending his group classes now, as well as having private lessons, and would highly recommend both.

I recently participated in this w/s which I found both useful and enjoyable - it is equally so for leaders and followers. The w/s is offered periodically and I recommend it to anyone wishing to increase their enjoyment of swing dancing.

Simon is an excellent teacher. Very personable, patient and believes in everyone's potential, no matter their start point.

He is very skilled at developing the experienced dancers AND the novices with great care and patience, and you never finish a class without a renewed sense of accomplishment. It's so helpful that he offers tuition in such a variety of ways, it makes learning very accessible for all.

Simon is guru at all things Swing, and is most generous with his knowledge and information on the many events that this scene offers. His aim genuinely is to ignite the passion and get everyone out dancing. He believes that everyone can do swing dance, and I believe that everyone should. Once you have a few basic steps and some music you can't not enjoy yourself!

If you want to learn to dance get in touch with Simon. He combines a clear passion for dance with a relaxed teaching style. Starting with some simple steps you quickly get confident and progress to linking them together. In an hour you have something to practice and build on.
Simon is encouraging and supportive and spends time with individuals to help them get the best out of their dance aspirations.
Providing links and access to events across London and the South East Simon gives a great introduction not only to dancing personally but the opportunity to practice in a friendly and supportive social scene.
