I received a rosé that was excellent, but then one bottle of red tasted like vinegar and was undrinkable, and then another gave me a terrible hangover (this is unusual for me).

Not worth the buy
I used a code to cover some cost but still spend an additional 50, which I wish I wouldn't have done. I have dumbed out 4 of the 5 so far. My odds are not looking good about the 5th one. I then received another code and like others, I am not interested in even using it. The wines are not that good and you can buy better flavor elsewhere and definitely cheaper.

Website has flaws
Today I tried to place my third and final order with SWIRL. The navigation of your site was horrendous. The drop box offering a discount to apply was not definitive of the $ amount. How much discount is "SANTA 50"? The verification process sent a code to both my email and text on phone. Overkill and confusing. The minimum required to avoid the shipping charge was whether before or after any discount was unclear. One shouldn't have to go completely through the process to find out. The order I was going to place had no way to delete so I went in to remove each item. The site would not let me remove the last item so it's still in there. Your site is not user friendly.

Some of the wines I received were less…
Some of the wines I received were less than ideal. This is the issue with online wine ordering - you don’t know what you’re going to receive (or able to select), until you find out it was a dud.
Having said that, they did make ordering easy.
Receiving was also a stumbling block. Not enough advance notification for a shipment requiring an adult signature to receive it.

The best part of a good experience with any company is good communication. Mark H from Swirl did just that. I had a concern, and he kept checking to make sure everything was right, especially the delivery, which FedEx was having trouble with. He went well beyond what most company owners or reps would do. For that, I have ordered a total of fifteen bottles and will order more in the future. Thank you Mark H.

The prices very reasonable and shipping was as advertised. Packaging seemed appropriate to keep bottles safe and not have a mess with a broken or leaky bottle. Unfortunately, I have not had any of the wine yet, so no comment.
