I had a problem with the brakes on my electric bike… they completely failed!
I called Paul (Swish Cycles) for help and he suggested I take my bike straight round to him to have a look.
He quickly diagnosed the issue. I left the bike with him and he fixed it the next day.
I thoroughly recommend this very knowledgeable and local business.

I required a full overhaul on my 30 year old Scott Pro MTB (my 1st cool bike from back in the day). Went online and found Swish, contacted Paul and brought my bike to him for an assessment and quote. A couple of days later I had my quote all via WhatsApp as this was my preferred method of communication and after a review I decided to use swish. Paul took care of my bike and a couple of weeks later my bike was ready for pick up. I was excited to see how my bike turned out and I have to say I was very impressed with the result. It fully met my expectations and the bike felt and looked like brand new. Paul replaced all of the agreed items like: break cables, pedals and crank system, chains, new puncture safe tyres, o rings you name it. I took the bike out for a ride and was amazed how everything was working and how smooth the ride was. Seriously amazed about the work he put in and ultimately a very satisfied customer. I chose this service as many retail outlets in North-West Surrey have shut and my bike was a non standard folding bike. Paul fitted my bike into his repair schedule (it was a busy time) informed me of any additional part costs and made the bike winter ready. When I had an issue with pedals he was able to quickly make sure they were safe and give advice on bike parts.

Paul is brilliant bike mechanic. He fixed my tyre puncture and adjusted my brakes. It’s been working fine since. Highly recommend!

Paul did a great job servicing my daughters’ bikes, one of which had some wear and tea, being at least third hand. Both now running smoothly and braking safely. Paul was clear about the costs and also helpful in advising on future bike options when they grow more.

Paul managed to transform my neglected 30 year old bike into something that is a joy to ride. He explained every step of the work with pics and videos so I knew exactly what I was committing to. And the work was done much more quickly than I expected. Can’t recommend him highly enough.

Amazing service. I had an urgent requirement to ensure my son was safe later that night. Paul was so knowledgeable and recommended and demonstrated the lights I needed. They are literally brilliant. He also fitted them for me and quickly responded to a phone call later that night requesting advice. Quality products and service and a really positive experience from someone who obviously brings his knowledge and passion for bikes into his business.

Paul gives you and your bike his full attention, with an excellent video run through of the condition. His space on his driveway is usually open and easy to drop by.

Paul is a cycle enthusiast who clearly loves his work, and does a lovely job.
He helped fix up two rescue bikes for our refugee family, making them good-as-new on exactly the schedule he suggested. He even put on beautiful yellow and blue cables to match the colours of the Ukrainian flag.

Paul will only do proper services/repair jobs. He won't be doing half completed jobs on your bike, so you can be sure your bike is safe. That means it likely only makes sense to come with a better branded bike, than with a Halfords own brand for example. As the cost of repair is likely prohibitive for no name branded bikes. So we ended up replacing my sons bike by buying a Frog bike from Paul, which worked brilliantly. I also serviced and repaired my own bike for a bigger cycle trip. Didn't even realise, that my break fluid was leaking and that there is so much wear and tear on a chain, which needs frequent replacing. Paul is always keeping to deadlines, even if it means working or picking up on weekends. His communication is outstanding, so you always know where you stand.
