Ideal Takas PVT LTD Avis 

I ordered from them again because of a previous positive experience. However, it has been three weeks since they canceled my order, claiming it was out of stock, yet they are refusing to refund my money.

They are not responding to emails, WhatsApp messages, or calls.

Terrible Experience – Avoid at All Costs!

I purchased a Logitech keyboard, and right out of the box, the keys were damaged. I tried returning it, but when they sent me a replacement, the second one was also damaged. My keyboard also arrived with unseals that were already broken. It’s clear they are selling refurbished items as new. A friend of mine had a similar experience when he bought a phone from them.

It seems like when you order an item, they just run to a local shop, buy it, and then give it to the customer. They don’t even have stock available. They promised a callback, but I waited over a month and never received one. I called more than 50 times, and they ignored most of my calls. One person always answer call. which makes me think they only have one employee working there.Their customer service is horrendous, and they refused to give me a refund or replace the product. They don’t follow their own policies and are essentially a scam.

DO NOT buy anything from them – it’s a huge mistake! They are thieves, plain and simple!

Ordered a UPS and after one week I was told that they didn't have stocks. They offered to send me a unit without its original packaging, a torn/old box, and no user manual. After reading the comments here, I don't want to go for a refund as am not sure If I will receive it. They are sending me a product which looks like a refurbished or used/returned product from another client. NEVER buy from these scammers

Scammers don't even try to buy anything from this company..

team doesn't care about their customers. Takas.lk website shows that they have product stocks to buy, 4 - 5 days after placing the order at takas.lk Takas customer support call and tell they don't have stocks and takas.lk will give a full refund for it. What a waste of time.

Takas.lk terms and conditions show takas.lk will refund within 5-7 working days. Now it's more than 4 weeks still no refunds.

To refund an order they only need to log in to the payment gateway portal and revert the transaction. It only take 2- 3 mins to do this process.

Takas.lk violating their terms and conditions & refund policies.
I suggest everyone not order from this fraud company.

I am really disappointed with your service as you had been asking me to wait day by day for my printer exchange but nothing happened.
As I informed you repeatedly, I needed the printer urgently & I understand that it is my fault in the first hand, to order a wrong model.
But I had been dealing with several ecommerce companies in Sri Lanka & as an example, Daraz would credit back the full amount within a few days if the item is returned in good condition (no questions asked !!).
But in this case, I didn't even open the package & called you as soon as I received the item. I also requested for an item upgrade, instead of the refund & I was even ready to bring back the item to you & then receive the new item, after paying you the balance. But now it had been a week since I asked for this exchange. This wasn't my first order with takas.lk as well but this was my first experience with an item exchange.
I purchased a new printer today since I do not value your words anymore. I checked with several vendors & they had the printer available & it was not unavailable for the past few days as you informed me. I never expected such service from a company once ranked as the No.1 Start-up in Sri Lanka.

Since I now know how your service is, I will never order from you again & encourage anyone who reads this, to find an alternative (there are plenty).

Takas Order number 100130416 & attached is a picture of the item I wanted to return.

Ordered a laptop (12.12.2019) for AMEX card discount offer and after successful payment. I was contacted by Takas.lk and informed that they don't have the similar laptop but they can offer me a laptop with same specs for the same price. Initially when I checked it was like same specs and I almost asked them to send it to me. But when I searched for it, it was found that they had offered me an old model of same laptop which has a different processor as well as VGA (lesser than the one I ordered). Then I had to ask takas for a discount and they initially refused and subsequently offered me Rs.2,000.00 coupon. Unfortunately I had to accept it coz I ordered it for an urgent purpose.

However, they told me that the laptop which I ordered was out of stock, but when I was browsing through takas.lk (15.12.2019) to my amazement, I saw the same laptop which I ordered was there with an increased price tag. When I inquired about it, they simply told me that it was a mistake and they have taken it out of the website.

sorry to tell you, you guys were very unprofessional. You guys advertising something and tempting/influencing us to purchase it and then informing us that the subject product is out of stock and offering a product with lesser specs for same price (people who doesn't understand the technical terms will surely fall for this).

My advise for the people who still wanna purchase something at takas.lk or any other srilankan online stores, please take the trouble inquire whether it is actually available. Otherwise you will be in trouble.
