These people are crooks. Ordered 2 'cotton' tunic sweaters (that word cotton is in the name and in the description, no material listed), in two deep colours and got 100% polyester in two cartoon character colours. Asked for return slips as soon as I opened the package and was told nor possible. They deliberately use the Talbot name as a cover and provide tawdry rags. I lost $130.00 on this purchase. Hopefully someone can use the items for something, as I gave them to a donation service .

Do not order from this company. The item takes considerable time to arrive from China. The quality is the poorest I have ever seen. DO NOT ORDER. To even request a refund there is a $30 charge!!

If I could give zero stars, I would. I agree with all previous reviews. The sweater I received wasn't worth a quarter of the $80 I spent. I emailed them immediately and got no response. I emailed again, no response. When I tried to get on the website, it was unavailable. Hard lesson learned.

Talbot Toronto and Talbots retail stores in Toronto have no connection. Talbots carry quality clothing. Talbot Toronto peddles third world garbage not worth half what is charged. Beware and avoid this online shopping scam. Clothing is garbage. Customer service is non-existent. Returns not possible.

Items are not at all they way they are shown in the pictures. I thought it was Talbots which is a well respected clothing store, but it was not. This is a total scam. Don't be fooled!!!

Do not buy. Product not at all like the picture, very poor quality. This is NOT Talbots, a store known for its quality clothes. This was a cheep polyester that you could see through with a really bad image of a Christmas tree printed on it. It went straight into the garbage bin.

I wish I knew “TalbotToronto” has a listing on Trust pilot before I made my November purchase. This company is a SCAM, it had an eye catching ad on Facebook and I fell for it thinking I was dealing with the “Talbots” company which has been around for years. I paid $80.00 for a sweater which this scammer said was originally $160.00. — NOT! I received a poor quality item that I would never have bought for $50.00 full price. Of course the scammers know I am not going to return it to China at my expense for a 20% refund. I notified my bank and received a full refund from the bank. I do hope the bank follows up with the scammer but that is doubtful. I have never purchased anything from the Talbots company in Canada/USA so I can’t comment on their quality. The genuine Talbots company does have a website. When I contacted them they advised me they never advertise on Facebook. I expect the scam company will continue to fool customers by using a similar tactic in the future by using another company name. DOUBLE CHECK EVERYTHING.

My review is no different from the others. This is a scam. I did receive my orders after a long delay. I too thought it was Talbots but they wouldn't consider stocking this junk in their store. $30 restocking fee and postage to China is ridiculous. It costs more to return than it did to buy. Do not buy from this company. There are others out there selling the same thing . They are also a scam. they give you the idea that they are selling from Calgary or Toronto but they are actually selling from China.

The 14 day, no hassle returns mentioned on the on home page in big print is a lie. The merchandise is sent directly from China and when you read their actual return policy buried in fine print it states: 1) permission is required to return any item; there is a $30/item restocking fee and you are responsible to pay return postage to China. Note: their web site provides no physical address or phone number to contact, only an email address.

The sweaters ordered did arrive – they were of a quality a homeless person would turn down. One was damaged. After many back and fourths with the “company” we accepted a 20% refund on the purchase price. Lesson learned. We were surprised our credit card company would offer no help – but with a stated return policy – they would not step-in.

This was the worst experience. I thought I was ordering from Talbots Canada,not some cheap knock off. Took many e mails and after 3 mths the order arrived. Two sweaters, no labels, and loose threads, piling after one wear. No refund.. Nothing. How can I warn others not to buy. They seem to erase negative comments.

This is a scam. I thought that I was ordering from Talbot's, but this is a completely different company that sells shoddy cheap poor quality goods. The sweater that I received is worth way less than what I paid. I thought that I was getting Talbot's quality merchandise. Buyer beware! Big mistake.

I realized the hard way that this is not the same company as Talbots who have retail stores and have been in Canada a long time. I ordered a sweater on line through what I thought was Talbots, which looked nice, unfortunately the colour was very strange and the mail strike back in September/October delayed the shipment by about three weeks. I unknowingly thought I could return or exchange the item through a Talbots retail store in a mall. Not the same company, I should have known something was strange. No tag on the sweater, no shipping label or paperwork of any kind. Now I’m stuck with it, will probably go to a charity shop

Do not be deceived. This is not the Talbots store we see in malls. Items come directly from China. Wrong item was sent to me. Customer service did reply to emails but not helpful. Only offered 30% refund. Not even the option to have the correct item sent to me Said never a complaint on the item before.. well they probably got the correct item. Sweater is ok quality. Not worth the money or hassle Would not recommend
UPDATE Still no 30% refund given They say it is on the way. since November. DO NOT PURCHASE FROM THEM!
