Ask yourself if you’re going to make custom leather shoes you will need leather so why set up as far away from cattle country
Then someone tells you can get 80% off. Off what.
Hope the people who find any advertising do their due diligence

When the Tanner shoes arrived, I was immediately impressed with the quality. I must say, when I ordered them I was a little nervous as to would they be worth the money. Yes, they are. I have a wide foot and it is difficult to get them on, but once they are on they are very comfortable. I'm glad I ordered them.

Ok, here I am again with my full story. I had ordered 4 pairs and after waiting for maybe two weeks I called my bank for fraud as I felt scammed. The bank refunded the credit card charge and replaced my credit card. They investigated and later said that my credit will be rescinded because it was no fraud based on their investigation.
Guess what??? I got the shoes three days ago, after almost a month. The design looks great and it feels comfy. I am not a real expert on leather so I don’t know the quality or how long they will last but I am not too worried because I did not pay the earth. I am actually happy to get the shoes that look good on my feet and feel comfy.
Now I am increasing my rating to be fair and to acknowledge the fact I received the product. Did I get my product and am I satisfied? Yes. Is it a good business practice? I don’t think so. I do not believe in their story of some American couple closing their business. They ship from China and tracking is not as easy. Nobody responded on the phone but they responded to my email in a somewhat repetitive and robotic manner. I just sent a thank you email to them for sending my shoes.
Now I have no final recommendation to you. If a pair lasts at least a year, it’s possible I will buy again, but will have more realistic expectations knowing what I know. I doubt they’ll have very many repeated customers though.

Saw an intriguing commercial. "We've been in business for 34 years making hand made leather boots". Clicked on the website. Very obvious that the two people shown, an older man and woman, he with a grey head of hair and beard, she with gray hair, both smiling and holding boots, ARE A.I. GENERATED! The address, 5660 Glades Road
Suite 550 - 1197 Boca Raton, FL 33442, DOES NOT EXIST, on google maps it will intially show the middle of a highway in a residential section. Remove the "Suite 550 - 1197" and it will again dump you in the middle of a highway with no business matching it on any side. The website, tanner-shoes.com, did not exist before December 2024. (wayback machine verified). The phone number, 754-289-1187, goes to an automated voice mail, that in and of itself isn't bad, but the recipient isn't even Tanner Boots. They list boots for 350-400 dollars, but "slash the price by 78%" down to 75 to 95 dollars. That is illegal in many states, because if the website didn't exist then there was never a time when they were being sold at the higher price, meaning you can NOT call it a "sale" like they are calling it. The boots themselves are made in China, NOT handmade in the United States. This is a key point to note, because the commercial infers by location in Florida and "handmade" that they are made in the USA. Not true at all. Avoid this company, not trustworthy in anything they say.

As much as I hate to admit it I purchased a pair of identical loafer-style shoes from Temu. On the plus side I only paid $18 for them. Workmanship is bad, no padding for the insole, and I can only use them as driving mocs.

Total scam as others have stated. I clicked, then reviewed (my own fault), within 10 minutes of my order I sent a "Please cancel this order" and received a "We immediately process orders". Complete nonsense. This type of thing should be banned.

The first clue that this is false advertising is the slickly produced ma and pa YouTube commercial. Nothing is manufactured in the US anymore and shoes made of real leather would cost thousands and would be very limited stock. You can barely find a cobbler to repair shoes, who believes there’s an old couple still making shoes? Being gullible gets you separated from your hard earned cash.

I reviewed the products and was ready to purchased but noticed the logos were different where shown. One had the timberland logo on it. Search the reviews on line before purchasing.

This company, Tanner Shoes, is completely fake. The pictures look one way, but the real product is of very low quality and different from the images. Be careful.

The website says: welcome to the world of leather. they used the finest materials. They are all rubber. Top, bottom. Cheap looking and they want to refund 20%?? I am asking for 80% as I don’t think they are worth $20.
They are made and shipped from China.

Tanner shoes is very misleading in their ad depicting 2 old folks ready to retire. In reality, these shoes are absolute junk made in China! They will literally fall off your feet in no time! Do yourself a favor and don't fall for this scam! 0 STARS!

When will I ever learn. Another piece of shit from the great Peoples Republic of China. They sent the wrong size. I take a US 8 and they sent a EU 39 which equates to a US 6. When I initially contacted them they were so apologetic but I haven't heard from them since. These people are true bastards. Don't buy anything from them or any "Chinese" company. They're scum.

This is Chinese scam. If your shoes don't fit you have to send them back to China. They are made in China and not made in the USA. They are not what they are advertised to be and not made by a ma and pa company in Florida. They are also not comfortable or orthopedic. SCAM

These shoes are cheap trash. They aren’t made of real leather. They aren’t made by people who have been in business for 40 years; they are made in China. They don’t remotely resemble the photos. I feel cheated. I would send them back but the address is in Asia and you have to pay the shipping. Don’t buy these.

Listen I fell for the ad and thought hey let’s help the old couple out they seem so sweet and nice. That’s all AI bs. Listen who the hell buys shoes handmade in America that get shipped from china? No this is 100% a scam company and I’ve already given my credit card company the whole story. Do not fall for this. I hope they go after these scammers and shut them down. I rarely buy anything from the internet but this time I got scammed. Don’t be a victim be a victor over these Chinese scammers.

This is NOT an authentic Tanner Shoes that were advertised or with the impressive video of Tanner Shoes. The leather is not even real leather. It's leatherette! FAKE LEATHER and workmanship is VERY, VERY poor. Machine made. It was shipped from China. The brand that's on the shoes is FASHION! What is that? I took pictures of the two shoes. It's not even Tanner? DO NOT BUY THESE SHOES!!!!!!

just absolute garbage from China, i orderd size 8.5 and what i got fit my co worker who wears size 10.5 the quality is crap, don't fall for the glossy photos.
