Just a quick note to say the order arrived a little while back — nicely packed and delivered promptly — and I’ve now had the chance to try nearly everything. I genuinely couldn’t be happier.

The spices are absolutely spot on — complex, punchy, and frankly addictive. The ramen’s dangerously good (comforting and vegan? Witchcraft). And that sesame oil? Honestly, I’m treating it like liquid gold — a little goes a long way, but it’s tempting to pour it over everything.

One of those rare occasions where everything turns out better than expected. Might even need to pace myself, just to make it all last a bit longer.

Quick delivery, quality matcha and fair price!

I usually buy clearspring organic matcha, but it's recently got so expensive, I started looking elsewhere, until I found taste of Japan and I thought okay, I give it a go.
I have to say I'm not registered. The price is correct, the postage ethical, no plastic involvement, it's all paper. Super fast delivery and excellent communication from beginning to the end.
And finally the matcha that I ordered.
I have to say it's absolutely excellent. 100% I can recommend. Beautiful green colour, absolutely perfectly consistency the ground and it's taste awesome.

Recently in Kyoto I came across a delicious sake and took a photo of the bottle in the somewhat forlorn hope of being able to find it back in the UK. To my amazement and delight I found the bottle on the Taste of Japan website. The order arrived promptly and was beautifully packaged; really impressive!
