I bought a Dell Precision 7760 from…
I bought a Dell Precision 7760 from this company two weeks ago, and the machine has already suffered a killshot hardware failure. Dell’s own SupportAssist diagnostics flagged Error 155, which means the SSD’s controller has failed at firmware level. You don’t get that kind of failure in 10 days unless the drive was already on its last legs.
They sold me a laptop that was faulty the moment it arrived, and it has already cost me days of work while running a business that relies on this equipment.
The most frustrating part is the complete lack of quality control. This isn’t a loose hinge or a fan making noise. This is the main system drive failing its own internal self-test, something that should have been caught instantly if anyone had actually checked the machine before sending it out.
I didn’t buy a £200 gamble off a market stall. I bought what was advertised as a high-end, workstation-grade £3000 laptop, and I ended up with a machine that cannot pass basic pre-boot diagnostics.
If you’re thinking of buying from them, understand that “upgraded storage” seems to translate to “you’ll discover the problems when it’s too late.” I needed a tool for work, and instead I got more problems and time and money wasted

To clarify for readers, there are a number of factual inaccuracies in your review that we must correct:
• The laptop did not cost £3,000
Your actual payment, including all taxes and delivery, was £789.80.
• The SSD in the unit was brand-new
As with all electronics, even new components can occasionally fail. This is very rare, but it does not mean the item was knowingly supplied with a fault as this fault occured after 12 days of shipping the Laptop.
When you reported the issue, we promptly offered a free return using insured courier services within couple of hours of your email, and we committed to sending a like-for-like replacement immediately upon receipt of the laptop since you clearly mentioned you don't need a refund.
We also provided written confirmation of this resolution in our email reply to you as shown below.
“To assist you quickly we can arrange Royal Mail home collection or DPD drop-off, both at our cost. Once received, the replacement Dell Precision 7760 will be dispatched without delay.”
We are always happy to resolve genuine faults and support our customers as evident from the majority of customers who use us regularly — however, aggressive language, threats and refusal to follow the lawful return process and making unreasonable demands prevent us from resolving the matter as quickly as we would.
No retailer has any incentive to knowingly supply a defective product — doing so only results in additional cost, time and loss. In the rare event that a technical issue does arise, it is both reasonable and standard practice to allow the retailer the opportunity to inspect and resolve the matter through the correct process, rather than immediately posting negative reviews or issuing threats. We are always willing to assist and provide a fair remedy when given the chance to do so.

The Best Refurbished Reseller
We often use Tech Bazaar to pick up some good value used machines for the office. We have tried other companies and have had to regularly return items for using fault parts or misleading with their adverts.
Tech Bazaar is consistently the most reliable supplier we have used and offer extremely good value kit. It always comes packaged safely and securely and it's clear they take the extra steps to ensure the hardware they sell is genuine and working with no hidden tricks (unlike some others).

Always great condition

not for the faint heartedi…
the only thing i didnt realise when i bought the refurbished laptop was i had to a complete install of
the operating system.whick took me an hour.
which was tedius with lots of questions.
i was expecting one with an operating alreay there.
this is not a thing for the faint hearted.

Thanks for your review. We preinstall windows on all our computers that we sell, however setting up the windows require customer input as this process is designed by Microsoft where you need to setup your username, details about region, keyboard, advertising preference and so on, some can complete this fairly quickly in less then 5 to 7 mins. So the operating system is already there when its shipped.
The reason for explaining this is that whichever computer you buy ( even new ones ) you need to go through this process of setting up the windows and customize it for your use.

Laptop arrived quickly, and exactly as quoted. Unit functions great. Went for a 5 year old Dell, performance all i needs for home use. Had to replace tracker nub, only £2, apart from that perfect. Can't fault these guys, all exactly as described and good personal contact for my pre-order questions, will use again.
