TEFL Toulouse Avis 4

I did the 5 week TEFL course at TEFL Toulouse in March/April 2025, and it was the best decision I have made in a long time.
Jonathan and his team (Dimitri, Claire and Julie) were all really lovely, made everyone feel at ease, and were great teachers and mentors.
There were 6 of us in that intake, all of us from different backgrounds, having different plans for the future, and the course felt like it was adapted to each of us.
There was so much attention paid to each one of us, as individual, which is something I'm sure you can't say for a lot of schools, certainly not online ones. That, if nothing else, made the cost of the course more than worthwhile.
Even since finishing the course, I have been getting a lot of support from Jonathan in my job search.

I can't recommend TEFL Toulouse highly enough!

I did the 120 TEFL course with TEFL TOULOUSE back in May 2013 and it was a great experience. You are teaching within a few days to real students, with support from your fellow trainees and experienced teachers. The course teachers various teaching techniques, classroom management strategies with loads of feedback and discussion which gives you a solid base from which to go into the world of ESL teaching.

10 years later, I run my own ESL company offering training to people all over France and even as far as Martinique.

If you want to get a TEFL certificate that actually helps give you confidence to teach, and isn't just a piece of paper, look no further than Jonathan at TEFL Toulouse.

I arrived in France with no French, no job and no contacts. TEFL Toulouse was a great way to get started out. Not only did I get valuable teaching experience, it also helped me to get settled in the country. Years later, I still regularly get in touch to get advice, and they are always happy to help. I have my own business now, and I owe a big thanks to the team at TEFL Toulouse.

TEFL Toulouse rocks! Though Jonathan and co would probably put it something like "it is a top notch training centre" :) Seriously guys, don't hesitate. I got my certificate a while back and I'm teaching in China now, but my training at TEFL Toulouse is something I will remember fondly for a long time. They really teach you how to teach, not like some of those online programs. And they are in an awesome part of the centre of Toulouse right across from the Jardin des Plantes. Toulouse is also a great city if you are in your 20s.
