Terrace Downs Resort Avis 

We had the most wonderful experience at Terrace Down.
Our 3 bedroom villa was magnificent.The views from our villa of the mountains were awesome. All the staff were so friendly.
Would definitely recommend this place to stay.

Stunning views, amazing rooms, friendly and accommodating staff... what more could you ask for? In our case nicer weather would've made it perfect, but alas we can't control that.
We accidentally took a very scenic route to the resort and were late for our spa treatments. The staff were accommodating and moved the treatments back an hour to allow us additional time to get there. Laura in the spa was amazing and gently kneaded out the knots in our backs from travelling and was a perfectionist when it came to the manicures. All of the staff seemed to go out of their way to make sure that our glasses were constantly filled whether it be water or wine. Well done Terrace Downs Resort, you should be proud of your establishment and we look forward to visiting again some day. Hopefully when it's a little less windy.

Would not hesitate to recommend to anyone looking for a top quality place to stay at a reasonable cost. The food in the restaurant is second to none and the staff could not have done more to make our stay any better!

Nice accommodation, clean but little bit dated 2000s, good staff friendly and efficient, very polite and professional,
food was average, would expect better qaality for price of menu, similar to gastro pub.

Found the accommodation to be comfortable, clean and well appointed. The dining and bar staff very obliging and friendly. menu selection good, food presentation and taste excellent.
We had a round of golf, hired golf clubs through your receptionist Monique. She could not have been more helpful and friendly.
All in all I found the whole experience at Terrace Downs to be great.

I booked Terrace Downs for 4 Japanese Businessman they where very inpressed .Loved the place played golf the meal in the evening was great.
The accomodation was top notch.
They could not speak highly anought about Terrace Downs.

Very nice room and excellent staff, my only complaint was that there were no bath robes and the pencil in the compendium was a dirty old gold pencil that looked like it had been used for several games, I gave this pencil to the reception when I checked out. No other issues other than that, its the small things that always need attention.

They rooms are well looked after and services. The staff are very helpful. There is plenty to do SPECIALLY if golf is tour thing. The views are majestic. The price is very reasonable. So what else would you need? Can't wait to come back for visit #7.

My partner and I have one night in a 1 bed Villa. It couldn't have been more perfect. We had a great time. The Villa was beautiful with spectacular views. It was clean and quiet.
I would totally recommend Terrace downs if your looking for a relaxing weekend get away.

We spent two nights in a One Bedroom Villa last week and thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The accommodation was very good, comfortable beds and everything we needed. We ate in the Restaurant, the food was great and the staff were fantastic, very friendly and helpful. Will definitely return for another visit.

We had a fantastic weekend. The accommodation was perfect. Warm and extremely comfortable!! The view was sensational, especially as it snowed that night.
The golf course is in great condition. Even though it was pretty cold we had a fun 9 holes.
Dinner was delightful. Good food and excellent service.

We really enjoyed our stay. The villa was lovely, warm and modern.
The staff were very helpful. The food in the cafe and restaurant were excellent. The only downside is that we had to go home!

We really enjoyed our stay, the surroundings are exceptional and the evening meal at the restaurant was top class. The unit was lovely although perhaps some of the decor is starting to look a little "tired" however the furniture was comfortable and the view amazing. The staff at the Clubhouse were friendly and approachable and Neil was a great tutor for our clay pigeon shooting session - lots of fun! Overall it was a most enjoyable weekend and we will definitely be back - no doubt with friends in tow. Thank you

A wonderful apartment with all the trimmings. Perfect for the kids to chill and adults to enjoy the spa and facilities. Good attention to detail in a great setting.

The accommodation was excellent - with full kitchen and laundry facilities and we never got tired of the outlook. Warm fireplace added to the ambience.

Perfect place to stay whilst skiing at Mt Hutt and relax and view the mountains in the evenings.

Restaurant and café service was good.

We booked in at this Resort to celebrate our Diamond Wedding Anniversary for the weekend.
The Villa was spotless and very comfortable.Well furnished and warm.
The weather was not very good,but that was to be expected at that time of year.
We dined at Hunters Restaurant. The food was excellent, and the service from the waiters was beyond reproach. A bit pricey, but we went there with the idea of our last splashout so price didn't matter.
Would recommend this Resort highly,compared with other Resorts we have been to. All the staff were polite and helpfull.

We attended a family wedding at Terrace Downs Resort. It was a thoroughly lovely experience. The accommodation was luxurious, with lovely views. The staff were very helpful and friendly. It was a stunning and beautiful place. Perfect setting for a wedding.

Dinner was very good, our waiter that evening was Raji? whose service was simply outstanding. Breakfast was okay but that was probably due to the high expectations that were set after the fab dinner/service from the night before. We will definitely be using this as our base when staying in and around the Christchurch region.

Had a very enjoyable stay quiet and beautiful accomodation would recommend as a perfect mini break destination
