I absolutely love my new Terra Kaffe…

I absolutely love my new Terra Kaffe Demi. Its sleek design and clean, minimalist look fit beautifully in my space, and it's refreshingly simple to use. Beyond the aesthetics, it makes amazing coffee -- consistently rich, smooth, hot, and cafe-quality every time.

What really sets this machine apart is how user-friendly it is. It's easy to operate, easy to clean, and easy to maintain. The YouTube videos for operating, cleaning, descaling, and general care are exceptionally well done -- clear, straightforward, and very easy to follow.

The customer service has been outstanding. I had ordered a coffee subscription that hadn't arrived after three weeks (two weeks is the usual), so I reached out. They immediately followed up, tracked the issue, discovered it had been lost, and sent out a replacement right away. Everyone I've interacted with on the customer service team has been responsive, helpful, and genuinely wonderful.

I absolutely love my Demi and am so glad I switched after years of using espresso pods. The quality, performance, and overall expreience make it an excellent value. I highly recommend the Terra Kaffe Demi to anyone looking for a beautiful, reliable, and high-performing espresso machine.

The machine is fantastic BUT

The machine is fantastic, don’t get me wrong. The company seems to be run by a bunch of inexperienced entrepreneurs that woke up one day and decided to sell espresso machines. Customer service is nonexistent. I tried for days to get someone to answer the contact phone number which cuts you off after a message informs you how busy they are. Email has taken over 10 business days for a reply. How will I ever get help on my extended warranty if I ever need it is shocking now that I bought three years worth. Big mistake for me.

Great brew!

We just moved to a new office after 20 yrs. Need a coffee brew system that was not generic. TerraKaffe has a "rent" program so we could try it out. I never knew how many coffee snobs i had in office until we stayed using the TK-02. Staff love it!
I have joined the subscription program for office to allow for easy of service.

Terra Kaffe Demi

I purchased the Terra Kaffe Demi as a Christmas gift for myself! I could not be happier with the product! The coffee I brew each day is delicious! I love the various settings for size and strength. I was very undecided as to what to purchase and love everything about this machine! The customer service is also outstanding. If I have an issue or a question, the response is within the same day often within a few hours. If you are looking for an espresso or drip coffee machine, you will not regret this purchase. I truly look forward to my cup each morning. The only downside is that I’m probably drinking too much coffee! It’s that good and easy to use!

TK-02 ❤️

Great customer care. I purchased my first TK-02 and loved it. Makes great coffee, easy to maintain, my wife loves the cappuccino option. When we started having trouble with the cappuccino function, we sent it in and they sent me a machine with less hours at no charge (warranty had expired) since ours could not be repaired.

Consistent Quality Espressos

We have owned both the Terra Kaffe 1 and 2 for many years. We love them both. The machines deliver consistent, quality espressos. We use Nut Milks for our Cappuccinos and Lattes and the Barista blends foam perfectly. Great customer service, also.

Consistently Great Espresso, Effortlessly

We are extremely pleased with our TK-02 machine, which we’ve owned for about 10 weeks. Our previous Miele CM6150 served us well for eight years, and we initially planned to replace it with a newer version of the same model—until we learned about Terra Kaffe and had the opportunity to see one in person at a local coffee store.

The TK-02 is much easier to maintain and requires less weekly cleaning, as the brew unit is not removable and does not need to be rinsed. The app is excellent for applying personalized settings, and the touchscreen makes drink selection quick and intuitive. The machine is also aesthetically pleasing on the counter.

Most importantly, the drinks taste great. The ability to dispense hot water and steamed milk are additional features we really appreciate.

Immediate, excellent service!

I reached out when my Demi machine was not starting up. They responded by email immediately and my problem was fixed in 5 minutes.
I did not expect such prompt service. Amazing!
Love my machine too. So elegant and easy to use. Makes incredible espresso with my Caffe Luxxe coffee beans.

A Dream Machine

We are obsessed with our new Terra Kaffe Demi. It's so fast, easy to use, and makes the best cup: Espresso, Lungo, Americano, Drip. The smart functions make the process and cleanup feel effortless. It's also extra easy on the eyes--the sleek design looks so modern in our space. Awesome purchase!!

From day one, Terra Kaffe's TK-02 automatic espresso machine has exceeded expectations. The variety of options and customization are exceptional, and when support was needed for a technical issue the TK staff was responsive, courteous, and quick to deliver a resolution. We use the TK-02 on a daily basis and could not be happier or more satisfied.

Awful experience overall

Awful experience overall. Product shipped was defective. Took forever for company to respond and then want to charge $55 for return label. I also think they are stringing out the 30 days return policy so as to say I can't a refund for their crappy product.

Mediocre Espresso Machines - Terrible Customer Service

I would absolutely avoid this company. We purchased a Demi Espresso machine a few weeks ago and have had nothing but problems with it. The machine itself is definitely not very intuitive to navigate or use in terms of the design and menu. They claim the benefit is that it’s a simplified unit, but with only a knob and a button to push unless you read the manual and memorize it it’s not fun to use. My wife and daughters definitely had a hard time figuring it out without the manual.

Maybe we got a bad unit but we consistently had wet mushy pucks and bad quality espresso. Lots of malfunctions (machine not responding) causing us to have to unplug the machine to restart everything. I decided to take it apart to clean the brew unit hoping it would help, and after cleaning the brew unit it would not go back in the machine no matter how much I tried (it’s a bad design compared to the other automatic espresso machines we’ve owned).

BUT, the real reason I would avoid buying anything from this company is their customer service is horrendous. There is no phone number to call to actually talk to anyone, there is a number posted online, but it only gives a message stating that they are receiving high call volumes and hangs up. After doing some additional homework on trying to reach someone, I scheduled through their website a virtual meeting. After receiving confirmation for this meeting, I the. received an email stating that my problem was an easy fix, and that there was a secret menu that I could access to fix the problem. I followed the instructions and of course it did nothing to help. Before even allowing me to respond about the non-fix, they canceled the virtual call.

I had to open a fraud claim with Affirm to finally get the RMA team to respond after almost 2 weeks. They responded to tell me they couldn't process my return because of the fraud claim, that the money had been frozen (weird the responded within a day after opening the case). I eventually did receive a return label (refund still pending), however they stiffed me on the TK-02 & Demi Better Brewing Bundle ($56) which was unused as they claim they don't have a way to process a return for an accessory, even for a broken machine.

I highly recommend staying away from Terra Kaffe. If you look hard enough, you’ll find plenty of reviews like this. I believe they delete / will not allow negative reviews to be posted (I have not been able to). Bad machines and terrible (non existent) customer service.

Awesome Customer Service

Our new Demi arrived with a tech glitch. TK support staff worked with me to try and troubleshoot but when that didn't work they got a new machine out to me quickly. It's easy to have great customer service when everything goes right; it's when something goes wrong that you find the true nature of a company. TerraKaffe is top notch and I sing its praises to anyone who will listen.

Well Designed Compact Machine

The machine arrived quickly and was easy to unpack and set up. Most of the operations are intuitive, and they also have a handful of videos on YouTube which are helpful. They ability to customize drinks is a major plus. They still need to expand the library of videos, but they are a startup so it may just take time. For example, I purchased brewer cleaner packets but could not find anything on how to use them. I sent a note to their support team and got a quick answer.
One minor inconvenience: there are three things that need to be done regularly, 1) Refill the water tank 2) Empty the waste bin 3) Refill the bean grinder. Since it’s a compact machine, these three tasks have to be done frequently, and they never sync up, so it feels like I have to do one of the tasks after every 2 drinks. The water tank and bean grinder can be done proactively, but the water tank bin seems to be on a counter rather than a sensor, so I can empty it when I’m filling the water tank and still get message to empty the waste bin one or two drinks later. This minor inconvenience is worth the compact size and customization options. Very good product so far. I’ve been using it for almost a month.

Working with TK has been a pleasure…

Working with TK has been a pleasure since I was one of the first to try the original TK-02 back in 2023. I’ve bought almost all their new products since then because of how well-made and stylish they are. Plus, their customer service has been fantastic, especially with their support email. Feder, in particular, on their support team, has made it super easy to find a solution and always puts the customer first. I really appreciate them and love using the best-tasting and most visually appealing espresso machine on the market today.

TK-02 doesn't live up to the promise

TK-02 doesn't live up to the marketing
I wanted to love this machine but I just can't recommend it to others. Issue 1: it doesn't adequately heat/warm milk for latte's, my spouse uses microwave. Issue 2: the app is kludgy and flaky
e.g. when my Internet goes down -- i have to go through hoops to reconnect the app (though it says connected, it's not so schedules don't work) Issue 3: the amount of water volume consumed by starting/cleaning/sleeping is huge, means constantly filling up the water reservoir. Issue 4: you can have a lot of beans in the hopper - but they don't slide down far enough to get to grinder leading to yuck coffee.
I've done 275 brews - so gave it a good try.

We had a great overall experience since 2020

We had a great overall experience since they launched the TK-01 (around 2020). Even after the warranty expired, when we had an issue, their team still took care of it. The unit then worked perfectly for another four years before it finally gave out.

The support team was highly motivated and did their best to troubleshoot and resolve the problem. Unfortunately, we ultimately had to replace the unit, but it lasted a long time and the team behind it was excellent.
