It doesn't work - you can get email notifications which turn up hours too late or you can watch the website for test dates. If you refresh the page you get banned for 24 hours.

It's absolutely, 100% a scam. How could it not be?

Used this to find a test quickly after failing 1st test as didn't want to wait another 5/6 months for a test. Our local centre tests always seem to go quickly and in the past it took multiple tries early monday morning to find and book a test. So I wasn't hopeful but had heard that bookings come available as people approach the refund period for their tests. Paid for premium Testi and 1st couple of days no hits - then one afternoon a stream of cancellations for tests in 2 weeks time. By the time it was seen most had gone but the last one was sent 15 minutes before opening emails and managed to log onto the gov.uk site and quickly book. The website was easy to use and stopped the gov.uk website temporarily blocking me from logging in too often (so frustrating).

I am honestly shocked at the negative reviews as it worked perfectly for me. Son unfortunately failed his test on 7 August, we booked the retest through the DVSA website and earliest date we could get was 1 December. Signed up to Premium service, and two days later a cancellation came through for 21 August. Clicked on the link, went straight through to the DVSA website, chose ‘show earliest date’ and there it was. Selected it and changed it all within the space of five minutes and got the confirmation email straight away. For clarity, I have an iPhone and we set Testi up to only show availability at our chosen test centre. I honestly can’t fault it.

I get some people are having issues, the timing from when you get the notification to when you try and book are so tight! You have to be on it quick, I have had the app for 2 days paid premium and I got a date end of Sept - lots of cancellations came through Friday morning for me, could be a good time to try!

Ok so I have been using this app for a few weeks now and everytime I get a notification of a test slot it is not on the DVLA site. I had begun to suspect it was a scam. Today I confirmed that. I have had notifications at 11.55 for the last few days. Today I went on the DVLA site myself at 11.15 and kept refreshing availability. There was none. At 11.54 I got the usual Testi notification for a cancelled slot. It wasn't there and had never been there as I had been looking at the live availability for over half an hour prior to the notification. Save your money. They are notifying of test slots that do not exist.

Absolutely rubbish. Tried to use the service multiple times and just doesn't work. Also we are no longer allowed to use this service according to emails from DSVA Gov who named Testi specifically. Asked for a refund since I didn't even get to use the service properly and want to close the account. Got told no. Not worth upgrading to premium or even the free version.

Paid for the premium service. What a joke! Spent over a year trying to get a single test notifications came in slots clearly went to the bot companies disgusting ! This app serves no purpose whatsoever ! Avoid !

Does not work in UK but they will allow you to choose the "UK" option and pay and then you only get cancellations in Ireland. Avoid.

Doesn't work. Cancellations that appear on the app, don't show as available when you eventually get to the .gov.uk website. Have had to verify that I'm a human a number of times.

Anyone who says the app doesn't work is either too damn slow or they've got a really terrible network. Of all apps available, this is the most accurate one you'll get! Ignore the poor rating, because it works!

Don't bother with this app, I had to go through security checks each time and by the time I had done that the booking had gone.
If you have paid for this app via appstore you can request a refund within 14 days.

What a waste of money! The app is absolutely useless! IF a cancelled test became available & I attempted to reschedule as soon as I received the notification - yes, I purchased the premium app - the test date was no longer available. Don’t bother buying the premium app it does nothing to help you schedule an earlier test date.

I got a refund through Apple as DVSA told me it is a con and they block it from their official site. Also if you have it installed DVSA said they will not allow you to use their site legitimately.
Told they also hold your information illegally. I spent two annoying day trying to get the slots but nothing there when you get on DVSA apparently website.

Downloaded this app and have received no notifications as yet!
I wish I had checked the reviews before buying it.
Can one get money back?

Complete scam, been told of 50+ cancellations, none existed, several have come through while I was on DVLA site searching, genuinely didn't exist

Absolute rubbish, what a waste of my money and time. Dates show up and when you get through they don't exist.

Got more chance of winning the lottery than securing a test date on Testi. 👎

I’ve had a disappointing experience with this app. Despite purchasing premium services, I haven’t been able to book any tests for over a month. Every attempt to book results in the app blocking me, making it not worth the money spent. Very frustrating and not recommended.

My driving instructor suggested this app to try to find cancellations so I could rebook my driving test appointment. It’s useless.

The only thing it does is notify you when a cancellation appears, but it doesn’t reserve it. So even if you immediately click on the notification, by the time it opens the official DVSA website that appointment is already gone.

If you’re going to hover over an app or website, waiting to click the instant what you. We’d finally shows up, you’d be smarter to just be logging into and refreshing the official DVSA website search yourself. That way, at least you can actually GET the appointment.

Excellent app… within 15 minutes of signing up to the app I had a notification of an alternative test date that was 5 weeks earlier! Managed to easily book it and received formal notification from DVSA of the new time and date. Now hoping to get another notification do I can move it again so it’s the month earlier.

Would definitely recommend!
