It's a truly terrible service for a major city like London. Transport is very expensive, and it's neither efficient nor reliable.

Shaquille had wonderful customer service with a big smile!

Not only was he friendly, quick on his feet and excellent at multi tasking , but Shaquille .was also incredibly attentive, helpful, knowledgeable and great at problem solving.

Thank you Shaquille for your competence and excellent customer service! TFL is lucky to have you! Even after a long shift and plenty of querying travellers, his personality and charm never faded! Very impressed and grateful.

They're all children with less than no ability to provide anything resembling customer service

I asked a very simple question, train stations closed, please confirm where the train is terminating as a result of this?

So far they've provided no information at all, tried to mess around joumey planning (not relevant), gaslighting and completely ignoring the call, then cutting it off,

These people aren't in any way fit to help people......IN ANY WHICHWAY!!!!

Rip of Britain comes to mind, this is a money making machine. Pure and simple! Once you have a fine no matter how unfair it is , no matter who you speak to your told “once it’s issued there’s nothing they can do’ The prices of the fines are absolutely ridiculous! think these are a number picked out of the air. Very random. Would have given 0. People beware!!!

Pathetic

Pathetic! Metropolitan line has severe delays, finishing before reaching the actual destination, but no one has informed passengers!

Tfl have a head and a heart

Made the mistake of using one card to tap in for underground journey and a different one to tap out. Within a day I had a standard £7 charge pending on both my Debit and credit card account(like a penalty), contacted Tfl explained , staff member informed me of process in a very pleasant manner, contact again when payments moved from pending to paid, detail of incident put on file.Returned call yesterday, once I gave my details , Customer Contact SAHAR was immediately able to track previous conversation , reviewed detail and provided a professional and appropriate outcome. Very impressed by the quality of procedure and staff, Thank you

Complaint Regarding Repeated W3 Bus…

Complaint Regarding Repeated W3 Bus Service Curtailments
I am writing to express my concerns regarding the unreliability of the W3 bus service, which has repeatedly failed to complete its full route over the last few weeks.
On Saturday 11 July 2026, I took the W3 bus to Wood Green and later attempted to return home. However, the bus was terminated at Lordship Lane, and passengers were instructed to leave the bus before it reached the end of its advertised route. This was not an isolated incident; it was the third time in less than a week that I have experienced the W3 service being curtailed, resulting in me having to walk home.
What was particularly frustrating was that no explanation was provided to passengers as to why the service was being terminated early. There appeared to be no obvious reason for the cancellation, and passengers were left inconvenienced and confused.
I observed a number of passengers affected by this, including:

Parents travelling with young children during very hot weather.
Elderly passengers.
Individuals with disabilities or mobility difficulties.
People who were relying on the service to reach their destination safely and conveniently.

Many passengers were clearly distressed and inconvenienced by having to leave the bus unexpectedly, with some children becoming upset due to the heat and disruption.
My main concern is the lack of communication and the apparent frequency of these service terminae. If buses are unable to complete their routes, passengers should be provided with a clear explanation and, where possible, advance warning. Repeatedly terminating services without notice shows little consideration for customers who depend on public transport.
I would appreciate an explanation as to:

Why the W3 service has been repeatedly terminating at Lordship Lane rather than completing its full route.
Whether these curtailments are due to staffing shortages, traffic management issues, operational decisions, or other factors.
What steps are being taken to prevent this from happening in the future.
How Transport for London and the bus operator intend to improve communication with passengers when services are disrupted.

At present, it feels as though passenger needs are not being placed first. Reliable public transport is essential, particularly for vulnerable passengers, and the current situation is unacceptable.
I look forward to receiving an explanation and understanding what measures will be taken to improve the service.
Yours faithfully,
Jacqueline Hitchman

After having to spend £180000 so I can go to my doctor and hospital every know I don’t live in the ulez zone I received a fine to say I owed them money on a ulez compliant vehicle because it had a personalised number plate on it. I phoned them to tell them about this and sent everything they wanted as proof even know they could check with dvla and case was closed. Until I received a bill from the Debt collection company cder group to say I owe them money for Tfl. They have caused me lots of stress and sleepless nights. What a lovely lot!!

Distopian

I just realized that it's impossible to buy a single bus ticket with a cash (it used to be £1), not even in the shops. You're now forced to buy a tube ticket at the station (which is £14 with return for central London) which is the half of the cost of monthly ticket just to go two ways. What the heck?
Many years ago it was completely different, there was at least some information at every station where you can ask, now there is nothing.
Are the services degrading?

London Drivers Forced to Pay ‘Just in Case’: TfL’s Outdated Congestion Charge System Leaves People Guessing

I genuinely cannot believe how outdated and confusing the TfL charging system is.

We drove a van across London. Upon checking licence plate, there is no way to actually confirm if you owe anything for that day. The system does not show the journey, there is no real time confirmation, and you cannot even select the current date to see if a charge applies.

So what are people supposed to do? The only option seems to be paying “just in case” to avoid a fine. That is honestly ridiculous and feels like a scam.

In 2026 we have ANPR cameras everywhere, number plates are scanned automatically, yet drivers still have no clear way to see immediately if a charge has been triggered. Instead people are left guessing, worrying about penalties, and searching through multiple websites.

It feels like a system from another decade. With the technology available today, it should be simple:
the camera reads the plate and the system immediately tells you whether you owe £0 or a charge.

Right now the experience is confusing, stressful, and unnecessarily complicated.

Called TFL to have a simple balance transferred to another oyster and after taking far too long on the phone with an agent that gave the impression of uselessness I was reassured it would only take a few days to show.

Two weeks later nothing transferred. Waste of time. Who is employing these idiotic types to basically do nothing?

Well done mayor Sadikk massive fail again.
