I’ve had a very good experience with The5ers Futures, especially during the evaluation period. What I liked most was the position-wise consistency approach, which I found very useful for maintaining disciplined risk management. The rules are clear and encourage responsible trading rather than simply focusing on profits.

Constant issues from the start with 5ers BlackArrow futures trading. Third of the way through the eval program and I get two emails; the first stated I have left a trade open over the weekend and therefore they were closing the account- not correct as no trade left over weekend and the second I had exceeded by daily loss- not correct. Had to wait for a reply to my email with 5ers confirming issues BlackArrow and gave me two new programs,. one immediate disabled and one which had no profit I had made. Complained to 5ers who gave me a discount. Tried taking on new account but was blocked. Managed to make one trade which made $1400 profit but this did not show on my account. Now I am blocked from making trades on program and waiting to hear from 5ers about what if happening.

I really like the rules for the futures platform, as they fit my trading style very well. The EOD drawdown, no buffer, and consistency being based on individual trades rather than daily profit are all things I really appreciate. The per-trade consistency rule, in particular, is a big plus for me.

Because futures is relatively new to The5ers, I have experienced quite a few technical glitches between the Hub and BlackArrow. While I understand that a newer futures offering can come with some growing pains, I do think the technical side could be more reliable. These issues can be particularly stressful when you're actively trading, because you need to be able to trust that your platform, account information and trades are all syncing and displaying correctly. Especially, when there are open trades that are displaying on the Hub, but you have ZERO open trades - the particular program I have requires you to close all trades by 5 EST.

That said, support has always been great to work with and has been helpful when issues arise. Sometimes the wait for resolution can be a little long, but I have generally found the support team to be helpful and willing to work through the problems.

Over the summer, there may have been some vacation scheduling involved because it took 21+ days to receive my first withdrawal. Combined with the technical issues I was experiencing, that did create some additional psychological stress on top of the usual mental challenges that come with trading. I was willing to give some grace for that.

I also had to complete a risk review, which I was happy to do. However, I found the individual conducting the review to be quite abrupt, which made the experience less than ideal.

So far, I have received three withdrawals. My third withdrawal was less than I had expected because the withdrawal cap had been changed, but the change had not been communicated to traders on this particular account. This is another area where I think The5ers could improve: communication around changes to account rules and payout conditions needs to be clearer and more proactive.

As for BlackArrow, I much prefer it over Tradovate. I like being able to set my stop loss and take profit and actually see the dollar amount I am risking or potentially making. With Tradovate, that functionality isn't as straightforward and some of it has to be set up through templates. I also find BlackArrow fast when entering trades.

Overall, I am happy with The5ers and enjoy trading with them. I think the rules are very well suited to my trading style, and I really like BlackArrow. Support has also been good when I've needed help.

The biggest things I would like to see improved are **technical reliability, communication around changes, and more frequent withdrawals**.

Ideally, I would love to see weekly or 5-day withdrawals. A lot of the other firms I have been researching allow traders on a $50K account to withdraw around $2,000 every 5–7 days, whereas The5ers currently limits withdrawals to 3% ($1,500) every 14 days on this account. For me, the length of time between payout requests is probably the biggest drawback.

Despite the issues I've experienced, I have received three withdrawals and I am overall happy with The5ers. I think they have a very good futures program, and with some improvements to the technical side, communication, and payout frequency, it could be an excellent one.

So far, so good. Had some trouble initially but I was reached out to and they made it right.
We will see how it goes when I start trading on funded and how smoothly withdraw goes when the time comes.

A serious and reliable prop firm. If you follow the rules, they pay you within the agreed timeframe. Today I received my first payout from them, and the process was very fast and efficient. Whenever I’ve contacted customer support, they’ve always responded quickly as well. Overall, a great experience so far.

My experience in taking trade was good

I successfully completed my The5ers Futures evaluation and received my funded account. However, when I tried to place a trade on the funded account, I was unable to trade because it showed “Account has been blocked by broker.”
I have contacted The5ers support regarding this issue, but unfortunately, the problem has still not been resolved.
It is very frustrating to complete the evaluation successfully and then be unable to use the funded account because of a broker-related issue.
I hope The5ers takes this matter seriously and provides a clear explanation and a proper solution as soon as possible.
I will update this review if the issue gets resolved.
