If you are considering taking AI seriously, AI Core is the place to learn. The programme combines academic study with practical application, which makes the whole experience genuinely valuable for the business.

I found AiCore online and initially planned to take the Level 7 course. However, I was advised that it wasn’t compatible with the nature of my organisation, so I was offered the AI Developer-Apprenticeship course instead.

There are plenty of positives I could mention: the 1-to-1s with Alicia, the group Module 4 Tech-Trek activity and the flexibility of self-paced learning. What I value most, though, is how eye-opening the workbooks have been. They’ve refreshed what I learnt through PRINCE2 and helped me consider how the projects I manage can affect colleagues and influence decisions when building AI-powered systems.

One thing I can definitely confirm: not every system can—or should—be fully AI. Sometimes, you still need a human in the middle to keep the robots sensible! 😄

I am currently undertaking the AI Transformation Specialist programme with AiCore and have had a very positive experience so far. The course is well structured, engaging, and provides practical insights into AI that I can apply in my professional role.

I joined the AI Core AI developer course through a recommendation by Malar Stripe. There are many things about the course I could list as positive, the 1-2-1s, the group work, the self -paced learning etc... but what I really value about this course is the ESG awareness; consideration of the impact of AI on real people. It has opened my eyes to embedding the value of human-in/on-the-loop implementation into all of the tools I create with AI or AI tools that I build. Props to Chris Butler my course guru. I promise I will start to record my hours properly Chris. Does this count?

They suddenly had to take down the portal. I paid for the full career support and still paying for it. They gave the full content but never got the full career support. They will not waive the outstanding balance even without being able to provide what I paid for. The others got their outstanding balance waived.

AiCore has been a transformative experience for me. The programme’s strong focus on building real-world projects gave me a true flavour of industry, and I found everything I learnt directly applicable to my work. I am especially grateful for the continued support I have received from AiCore even after completing the course. The AiCore Data Engineering Bootcamp provided an excellent blend of theory and hands-on learning, covering key tools like Python, SQL, AWS, Spark, and Databricks. The project-based approach allowed me to build a strong portfolio and apply real-world solutions, while the mentors offered invaluable support and industry insights.

The progress you make is down to you! But the support you receive is excellent! Even after completing the programme I constantly receive aid in future endeavours!

I reached out to this company for a Data Engineering training after seeing their ad mentioning they work with Agentur für Arbeit. I received an offer from them and shared it with Agentur für Arbeit. Based on this, I was issued a Bildungsgutschein, which needed to be filled out by the company and shared with me alongside the contract.

Later, I found out that their agreement with Agentur für Arbeit was outdated, and they were trying to obtain an updated identification number from the Büro. Despite informing them of my time constraints and the need to finalize this process by the end of the month to avoid losing my rights from the Büro, they failed to respond for two weeks. Ultimately, they didn’t bother replying at all.

Thankfully, I was able to find another course at the very last minute. I don’t recommend this company, as their lack of professionalism and communication caused unnecessary stress and inconvenience.

Just time wasters

Lessons were very in depth and created a solid foundation in data analysis in terms of finance. Project were also very thorough and career support was amazing following graduating. I especially want to thank Patrick for his help and support during the job hunting process. I was able to secure a role with a good salary increase

I found the course to be excellent. As someone who wanted to build a career in data and didn't know where to start, this gave me a massive boost.

The course is definitely a 20hr a week course, it was supposed to be 3 months long but it took me 5 months. Since I was working full time and most of the content was new to me I found it difficult to keep up with the tight deadlines at times but the engineers are always readily available to help with any query I had whether it was technical or career related. The engineers know what they're talking about and are a very valuable asset to someone new to data, like myself.

The course gave me project experience, skills in Python, SQL, Power BI and general knowledge on a range of other data topics, plus specific useful information on how to approach the data job market (CV and cover letter, etc). It is a very competitive job market but I was able to secure a role 6 months after the course ended with over 200 applications and I believe along with my maths background, that this course helped me secure a data analyst role (giving me relevant data experience to talk about in an interview). AiCore were offering the course to be government funded which is what I applied for, so it was totally free, no hidden fees.

I would recommend it to anyone who's got a decent analytical degree and wants to build a career in data from scratch and is fully able to commit to the 20hrs a week for three months (meaning you can financially support yourself while doing the course, part time job would be ideal in my opinion)

To the kids that made AICORE, you are really good sales people. I fell for it, I took the KoolAid. Why I learn from kids out of school on video? Why I paid so many thousands? Only I can answer. I see UK pays for this now, oh dear.

I could learn same from YouTube. The careers man was really good, no one else cared. The platform did not work.

I had a mixed experience doing the AICore bootcamp with a place funded by the government. While it was great to get the free place, the deadlines imposed for the funded place were ridiculously tight, and I wasn’t properly informed what the deadlines were when I signed up. This meant I just had to cram complex info to pass the tests, which meant I didn’t really take in a lot in a meaningful way and forgot most of it afterwards.

I rate the first part of the course - python basics - as mostly excellent. The concepts were introduced bit by bit and explained well, and the practicals meant I got to practice and understand what I was learning. It was great to do the project and I got very helpful detailed feedback from the support team.

However I was mostly unimpressed by the data analyst pathway. Many of the concepts were not explained at a basic enough level initially and there were a lot fewer practicals. It felt like being given a textbook to read and teach myself, and mostly not a very well written textbook. As I had a free place I accepted it but I would be seriously annoyed if I’d paid over £7k.

Although it’s advertised as suitable for people with no experience a lot of the support team and the extra classes put on seem to assume a baseline understanding of core concepts in programming and data, so felt inaccessible. Some of the support team were great at explaining things simply but some couldn’t explain things in a way I understood and I ended up using chat GPT to get help, which was much more efficient.

I think there are certainly good things about the course, however a lot of the teaching of concepts could be improved a lot. I don’t think the quality of teaching is good enough to justify spending over £7k on it.

The support people are lovely, but a lot of them have just finished the course "Alumni Engineers" they're called. A 10 minute call ends up being 2 hours of back and fourth on the chat. There is a reason why teaching is a skill.

The questionnaire that they make you do to "decide" on what course they will put you on is not real, I was told I was put onto my course because Data Engineering was full.

The customer support person did not apologies and made me feel like they were doing me a favour which I didn't like.

The videos and course content is very basic and you spend most of your time elsewhere researching it.

The training that AICore provided was second to none. The immersive journey they took me on was both educational and eye opening. The training team are so helpful and there is no issue too small for them to give you 100% of there time. I am so glad to have experienced the time i had with the team.

It was a nice journey . A bit too demanding at times as I needed to finish within a certain timeline. However, I grasped a good background knowledge on how to be a starting data analyst.

Whenever I had a question the responses were quick which helped a lot, especially when doing the projects.

I had a very good learning experience at AiCore. The course helped me to land a dream job. I learnt many tools and technologies that I considered impossible to learn on my own. At AiCore every concept is broken into small parts and explained very well such that even a layman would understand it.

As a part of career support they helped me prepare my resume, LinkedIn and GitHub profile and helped me with mock interviews. The only part where I was disappointed was that in the beginning when I had enquired about the career support, they had mentioned that they will provide interview opportunities due to which I was ready to invest on career support but they did not provide any interview opportunities with any companies. I had to apply for jobs on my own.

Apart from this I did enjoy the course and every activity that was held at AiCore. Also people at AiCore are very friendly and very encouraging. They take feedback seriously and work on it to improve themselves. Overall it was a very good experience and I would surely recommend the course to others.
