Top results, and great value - Greg is your man

Greg is an awesome bloke and coach. Easy to work with, he's flexible and practical, helping to fit training into life.

I started working with Greg early in 2026. Previously, I've struggled with injuries. Greg put me through his expertly designed and tailored training plan, and I came out the other end fit, injury-free and ready to race. My wife and I have both had excellent experiences working with Greg.

Thank you Greg

I started working with Greg in November 2025 while preparing for the London Marathon in April 2026. As someone who was still very new to running, I really appreciated how personalised the training plans were and every session was tailored to my ability and progress.

Throughout the six months we worked together, Greg was always supportive, listened to any concerns I had, and regularly checked in to see how I was getting on. His guidance helped me build confidence and stay consistent with my training.

I would 100% recommend Greg to anyone looking for a knowledgeable and supportive running coach.

Thank You

I have been with Greg since September 2023. He guide from zero to completing 5k, 10k, two half marathons, 20k trail then 35k trail run. I finished my first half marathon in 2:31 and after one year with coaching and support from Greg I finished my second half marathon in 2:01. He helped me developing my running despite my busy work/family commitments, some injuries, humidity, and mental fatigue. Thank you

Real Progress with the Right Coach

I have been working with Greg since November 2024 and my improvement is massive. I went from a 3:52 in the marathon to 3:37 in December 2025 in about a year. That is not even counting the progress in the half marathon and shorter races.

I love how personalised everything is. The plan never feels generic. If I mention something small like a strange feeling in my knee, tight ankles, or if I am travelling and miss sessions, Greg adjusts things straight away. He does his magic and somehow the schedule always comes together. It makes a huge difference that he understands there is life outside of running and works with me to make it all fit. The whole process feels sustainable and a lot less stressful.

Greg is also super detailed with race prep. We go through pacing, course profile, hydration, fueling, weather — all of it. He removes all the guesswork. It is great having someone to properly talk things through with, bounce ideas off, and make small tweaks based on how I am feeling.

The PBs are wonderful, but more than that I feel consistent, confident, and genuinely prepared going into races. Working with Greg has easily been the best decision I have made for my running.

Greg is class.

I’ve been with Greg for the most part of this year.
I had a previous coach and it just wasn’t what I wanted so I made the switch and couldn’t be happier.
I’ve always been a pretty keen and somewhat ok Runner and Triathlete.
Greg has taken what I had and really worked wonders with me this year. I’ve smashed my 10k, half and Mara PBs by quite some time and have some big goals next year.
He’s also let me chase some pretty big triathlon races this year and hasn’t let the running get in the way.
He works with and around you and is easy to get along with, understand and put together something that works for you both.
To me a coach isn’t just someone who puts some sessions together on paper as a lot of people can do that. It’s someone who goes beyond that. You get to know them and they understand what makes you tick and progress.
I’m so keen for what the next year will bring. I’m getting older, a dad, and work full time but super stoked to smash some big PBs next year. Would highly recommend Greg to anyone.

Four years with Greg!

I’ve worked with Greg for four years, and he’s been incredible. Showing me that we should never put limits on our self!
Through every injury and setback, he’s supported me, believed in me and helped me get back stronger each time. I’m so grateful for his guidance — truly couldn’t recommend him more.

Greg is the best!

I have been running with Greg for a couple of years now. He has taken me from someone with a passion for running but no idea how to train efficiently or effectively to a runner who understands heart rates and zones, fuelling, the importance of both strength training and recovery, injury prevention and management, and my passion for the sport has continued to grow.

Greg also understands the complexities of life and is extremely supportive in helping to structure training and goals around life’s chaos and complications. He is encouraging, understanding, non judgmental and empathetic.

I can’t recommend Greg highly enough.

The best running coach out there

Hands down, the BEST running coach out there. Greg truly ‘gets it’ when it comes to running. Not only is he a runner himself, but he’s also a father so he understands the external stressors that can impact training.

The results I’ve experienced working with Greg are mind blowing. Cannot believe how much I’ve progressed since working with him.

Join The Build, you won’t regret it!

I joined The Build about 6 months ago after following Greg on insta for a while & really enjoying his content and getting so many good tips! I’ve tried a few online coaches and can honestly say Greg is the best by far. His programs feel so personal to me and not a one size fits all, he is constantly tweaking it & I don’t think two sessions have ever been the same! For someone like me who does the majority of running by myself I feel so motivated to run the sessions & push myself. I get monthly video feedback & it’s so in depth, Greg goes through each session highlighting what’s gone well, looking at heart race pace etc and it’s invaluable. I’ve had a 10km PB already while training with Greg (46 mins to 43mins), and working towards a half marathon PB for next year, already feeling confident I’m in good hands 😊

45 minute marathon PB

Can’t recommended Greg enough. Not only as a running coach, but just an all round great person.

I’ve worked with him for an ultramarathon and more recently a road marathon.

Having completed 2 marathons without coaching prior to working with Greg, I’ve seen first hand the progress that can be made with a coach in your corner.

The results speak for themselves. I achieved a 45 minute PB in the marathon the first time I worked with Greg. But more than that, I am a more mature and knowledgeable runner thanks to his guidance and experience.

I find having Greg as a coach really helps me remain consistent. I like the accountability that comes with it.
But equally he is very realistic and understands that life throws curveballs.

Fantastic Coach !!!

Greg has been coaching me for about a year now and his training has taken my running to a completely different level . I did my first marathon on my own and then have trained under Greg's guidance for 3 marathons and scored a personal best in each one of them. Unlike most coaches out there , Greg defines a "tailor made plan" for you, taking into consideration, your running style, goals and overall running history. The best part of his program is that he will provide a video based feedback every week for all my runs and provide suggestions on how I can excel further or areas that I need to improve upon . He is with me every step of the way and also helps define a pacing strategy for my race , which has been a complete game changer .
In addition to the coaching program, he organizes webinars with experts in different areas like shoes, nutrition, mental strength, breathing, etc , which has been a great value add .
I'm totally looking forward to continuing my training with him and achieving great milestones in the near future .

You won't find a better coach

I've been working with Greg since 2021. I could barely run 5k when we first started and every run I did was max effort followed by 2 days of hobbling before going again. Then repeat that until injured.

Since 2021 I've completed multiple 5k PBs, 10k PBs, Half Marathons, Full Marathons and even the Borneo Ultra Trail Marathon. This would never have been possible without the guidance and coaching of Greg.

The thing that sets Greg apart is his understanding that people are fitting in running around life; not the other way around. Most coaches don't appreciate that. The schedule is achievable but also flexible when life happens.

Greg celebrates his athletes wins more than he celebrates his own wins, he genuinely wants to help you progress and hit whatever goal you're aiming for.

I would have zero hesitation in recommending working with Greg, it's most definitely something you wouldn't regret.

Amazing Coach!!

I started working with Greg almost 2 and a half years ago, and can honestly say I have never looked back.

Before he started coaching me, I’d been mostly involved in triathlon, and then had completed a half marathon that left my confidence in tatters. I then more or less took some time off and bounced around a bit without much direction, before coming across Greg on Instagram and instantly feeling like not only did he look like a really top coach, but that we could connect, which is a top priority for me.
One phone call later, and I knew I was making the best decision!

Greg has completely changed the way I run, in the best possible way. He has taught me so much about both running, and myself. We’ve hit plenty of goals, and this year I ran Gold Coast HM & finally gained back all my confidence that was lost a few years back, all thanks Greg’s coaching & guidance.

We’ve also worked through plenty of various obstacles along the way, and at times Greg has gone out of his way to keep me going whilst I deal with curve balls life has thrown my way.

I’m a back of the pack runner, but Greg has always made me feel just as important, & just as valued as those up at the front. I can head out runs by myself these days and thoroughly enjoy it, because I always feel 100% supported.

Greg is not only a phenomenal coach, but also just a really good person, who listens to & understands his athletes, and wants nothing more than to see his them achieve everything they strive for.

If you're a parent looking to level up your running, Greg is your guy

I've been with Greg for some time now and would urge anyone considering using a coach to give Greg a message. Of note, Greg has got me to a 37-minute marathon PB and an 8-minute half marathon PB this year alone. If you want to see results, Greg is your guy.

It's not just the results though that sets Greg apart; he takes a low-risk and holistic approach to running that ensures sustainability while balancing performance:

- Mileage is always built up gradually and periodically to avoid injuries.
- Training methods are backed up by the latest scientific papers.
- Plans are flexible and adapt to everyday life such as parenting and work commitments (you're NEVER made to feel guilty for having a life outside running. Greg has kids of his own and is tuned into the struggles of the work-life-parenting balance).
- Regular testing is routinely scheduled to measure progress and adapt accordingly (e.g. changing pacing zones and race goals).
- Training plans are always backed by your running data. One strategy call with Greg and you can watch him comb through your data and see how he comes up with your plans and race strategy.
- Strength training is running-specific and is a priority for both injury prevention and performance.

If you're ready for your running to transcend to the next level, make Greg your coach. You definitely won't regret it.

The Build changes lives

I was training without a coach, with no guidance, and was lost in my running. After I had a brutal DNF in my first ultra marathon, I reached out to Greg and joined The Build. It was a total game changer from day 1. Now nearly 4 years later, I am still apart of The Build, and have completed a tonne of ultra marathons and smashed a lot of goals. As long as I am running, which may be for decades, I’ll be apart of this community.

Greg is a phenomenal coach, and an even better bloke. His coaching method is very tailored to you and the specific lifestyle you have. He just gets it. Absolutely love all his collaborations with various experts in the nutrition, mindset and strength training spaces, giving his athletes the best possible information. Kudos to you Greg, you’ve given countless people the power to achieve massive goals.

Greg helped me love running again

I went from a 3:28 marathon to a 3:09 in just five months. Before working with Greg, I was constantly injured and had lost my love of running. He turned around my life. Greg’s real, authentic and super switched on with his approach through care, data and structure. He knows when to push, when to back things off, and how to keep you progressing without burning out. Over the moon to have been referred to Greg through a friend and I've even got my Mum on who is doing NYC marathon in a week - I've never seen her so strong from this block with Greg. All in all, my running and mindset is stronger, I feel more confident every time I get out there and and actually look forward to every session now. Couldn’t recommend Greg enough - Epic human and best in the business as a running coach - Cheers mate !

Greg & The Build A+++

3 years ago after winging it through my first half marathon I decided that I needed to become a full marathon runner, I knew I wouldnt be able to do this by myself.

I had heard my mate from the gym talking about how he was working with Greg who was helping him achieve amazing things in his running while balancing his gym and work routines - so I booked a call with Greg and felt he was a good fit for me.

Greg has laid out the plans for me to achieve over multiple race distances and he is great at explaining the whys behind the whats - making every session make sense towards the greater goals.

He bases his training plans on evidence but also individualisation to me as an athlete, no matter what me and my life manages to throw at him & my routine.
