Great service, really nice installation!
We are so pleased that we purchased our floor covering from here. Chantelle in the shop was really nice and helpful and was able to help us to select the most cost effective sized rolls to work from (because we were doing three separate rooms)
She was also able to arrange a really fast delivery and installation for us.
The fitters were also very good and really made sure that everything was exactly right. They also left everywhere tidy afterwards.
We could not be happier with the finished floors: they have transformed our property! We will definitely be using The Carpet Stop again for all of our floor coverings in the future and would highly recommend them to others.

Easy to browse without being disturbed, staff helpful in providing price quote prior to purchases. Efficient service during appointment to measure staircase and sales staff brought samples to confirm carpet colour choice in home environment. Have used this company previously and would definitely recommend.

I have had all of my upstairs fitted with carpets and flooring from The Carpet Stop and just had my living room fitted by Colin and Jason and they were fantastic. We wouldn’t go anywhere else.
It makes me question how genuine the negative reviews are to be honest.
But then the fact that the positive reviews out way the negative ones, speaks volumes in my eyes.

Always used Carpet Stop forms previous house and the present one .Found them to be courteous,nothing too much trouble until I wanted my bedroom carpet fitting .When I rang i was told that they don't cover Sheffield anymore .Throughout the day I was told Sheffield was covered by Manchester store and told by them that Sheffield was covered by Burton on trent store .All the Web pages mention Sheffield, even a phone number for Sheffield.
To add insult to injury a web chat I used in the afternoon was used in an email from them with the lady from Carpet Stop saying "I doubt you would go out just for one room "
Ironically they were happy to carpet an entire downstairs x2 ,a staircase and a kitchen in the past .loyalty gets you nothing I.guess .
Will take my business elsewhere.

Very helpful staff and quick fitting dates and affordable prices

Couldn't be happier with my new vinyl floor, couldn't have been easy because my hallway has some awkward angles but was all done really quickly and with no fuss. Highly recommended.

The guy in the shop was friendly and helpful the fitters were brilliant. I've had carpets from there on several occasions, all the staff are really helpful, I'll continue to use them here in my new home

Just had my carpet in my front bedroom fitted today in the magnificus slate grey,absolutely beautiful
Tom was very efficient and helpful as I fell in love with a tartan carpet in there for my stairs and landing
They was very obliging in working around me and keeping my carpets till the areas was decorated end off May and beginning off June.
Craig was the carpet fitter did a fantastic job as I was concerned about my skirting boards with just having it decorated Craig was very professional and did a perfect job without any problems to my decorating

I have to write this review just to let others know
I phoned them today to see if they do a price match the answer was "YES" if i can prove the purchase price from another store explained that it was online store so they can see for themselves so i gave them the detail and Ellaine said she would come back to me ?

15mins later she phones me back "well i was expecting yes we can do same price" prefer to deal local if i can, anyway this was a strange part she said can you let me know where it was from i said yes no problem but will you price match her answer was yes again

so i spent a few more minutes on the phone with her telling her where to find the company and after searching she found the same item from the company ohh she says "we cant do it at that price its too cheap" mmmm do they know what price matching is and even if they made a smaller profit on it its far better than me spending over £1200 to the competitor ??

So impressed with Carpet stop. Was helped pick the right carpet for our needs and then signposted by staff to a different (very similar) carpet that was cheaper.

Only had to wait about a week for a slot to get it fitted, i got courtesy phone call before they came which was nice and then fitting was super speedy and they were in and out in an hour! Honestly have no complaints whatsoever and would use them time and time again.

Can’t fault it, from start to finish, choosing the right product, looking at samples measuring , giving advice about the options available and the worst case scenario due to having an older house, everyone arrived on time , very friendly and professional.
Extremely happy with the finished product.

Very good service. Neat,tidy and efficient.

Friendly company, came out to measure and amenable to a change of fitting date. I think a lack of transparency around clean-up and removal of rubbish after fitting was disappointing. Left us with shreds of carpet fibres everywhere and a full bag of rubbish that we then had to take to the waste centre. Was told this was because if adhesive is used it needs an hour or more to bind so shouldn’t vacuum and rubbish removal would increase costs. Previously used Carpetright who we did not have this issue with. As I say the lack of transparency on this was disappointing - not something you should find out as the fitters have left.

We wanted Amtico flooring for our kitchen and priced out a few shops. The CarpetStop offered us the best price, and the installation process was very easy. The fitters were great! Super process all round.
