We're sorry to hear that you didn't enjoy the cheeses.

While we're disappointed these weren't to your liking, we'd like to clarify one point. We don't source mass-produced wholesale cheeses and simply repackage them. We work exclusively with independent British artisan cheesemakers, many of whom are small family-run businesses with generations of cheesemaking and farming heritage behind them.

As your purchase was made through Sainsbury's rather than directly from us, we're unfortunately unable to arrange a refund or replacement ourselves. If you're unhappy with the product, we'd encourage you to contact Sainsbury's customer service, who should be able to help.

We're sorry that your experience didn't meet your expectations and appreciate you taking the time to leave your feedback.

I'm also sorry to hear you were disappointed with the shelf life of your cheeses. Even with the one-day delay, the selection should still have arrived with a minimum of six days' shelf life.

Hi Diana,

I'm so sorry to read about your experience, and I completely understand how disappointing this must have been.

Whilst our ice packs and insulation are designed to keep everything chilled for up to 48 hours under normal conditions, the recent spell of exceptionally hot weather, combined with delivery delays, has unfortunately affected some orders, and I'm very sorry that this impacted yours.

I've looked into your account and can't see that we heard from you after your replacement was delivered. Had we known that it had arrived with the ice pack melted and the complimentary crackers missing, we would have been more than happy to investigate and put things right.

I've sent you a separate email today so that we can discuss this properly and find a resolution for you.

We're so sorry that your anniversary gift didn't arrive on your chosen date. While our packaging is designed to keep cheese fresh during normal summer temperatures, the extreme conditions during the heatwave meant we couldn't guarantee it would arrive in a condition we were happy with, so we made the difficult decision to delay all orders until the weather improved.
