The Chilli Jam Man Avis 

My family has been a huge fan of The Chilli Jam Man since about 2012 when a little market stall used to sell his chilli jams in Colchester. I remember getting in touch with Simon when our local stockist stopped his stall as we missed it so much. I often joked that my daughter has such a fiery temper cos I was eating so much chilli jam when I was pregnant with her 😂

We have tried a few different flavours over the years but the Hot Smoky is our all time favourite. When our 3 kids were young, we used the milder Garlic one in their food but they soon graduated to Hot Smoky and we’ve been ordering the catering size for years as its exceptional value for money.

Our eyes met across a food stall and my life changed forever. Simon, Bonnie and the Chillsters have continued to produce such a high quality product consistently for nearly two decades. Right from that first hit of sweet savoury heat I’ve come to love the range of jams produced along with the new ventures such as the chilli chocolate, sauces, marinades and now the honey range.
It’s an essential part of my home cooking, parties, cheese boards, and BBQs of course (the 1kg tub essential). Never dissatisfied and when there’s a discount all the better!

Bought the Ghost jam lovely flavour with a nice kick, bought it to go on cheese on toast but didn't work as the oil in the cheese killed the heat, had as an accompaniment with cold meat and it was spot on.

Super tasty jam with decent levels of heat. Scotch bonnet jam is particularly good with perfect balance of sweetness and chilli.

Without doubt the best chilli jams I've ever had! Scotch Bonnet is my favourite, I have it on pretty much everything. The Mango Bhutney is unbelievable👌🏼 and is a must with a nice curry!
