The Classic Outdoors Avis 

In September 2018 a friend and I booked the EBC trek with Classic Outdoors in Kathmandu. Sadhana and Kriti were very helpful in answering all our questions and getting us prepared for the trip. From the moment we landed in Kathmandu, Giri our guide met us and took great care of us. He was awesome during the trek, very kind and looked after us all the way up to EBC and was extremely knowledgeable about the many mountains we saw while on the trek and the geography along the way. Sadhana provided all the information we needed. Our porter Don was so helpful and friendly. The value for the money was fantastic. I would highly recommend Classic Outdoors for any trek/trip. They are knowledgeable, professional and I fell I've made friends for life! An incredible experience overall and I'm so thankful for them making it possible!!!

I had a wonderful experience of climbing Mera Peak with Classic Outdoors. The office representive answered all the pre-trip questions throughly and was very welcoming when I arrived. The trek was fantastic and itineary was well planned to aid acclimitization. Trekking in Everest-Khumbu region and then finally acend Mera Peak. Ascending Mera Peak was like a dream come true to me as I was able to witness all the snow-peaked of khumbu region from high altitude. Our mountain guide and porter were very professional and friendly. Thanks everyone for making my trip life time memorable.

I did the Annapurna Circuit with The Classic Outdoors end of March/early April as a private tour – the guide, one porter and myself.

It was an unforgettable experience and I was very happy to have chosen The Classic Outdoors, a local and very experienced company in Nepal. Very responsive and informative, everything was very well organized and taken care of, such that I could simply enjoy the journey and did not have to worry about things like where to sleep, organizing bus rides or even the weather forecast and its implications for the next day.

I can only recommend doing this trip with the support of a local guide, especially as a rather inexperienced mountain hiker like I was.

The trek itself I can also only recommend, for experienced hikers or very ambitious newbies (again, like I was…).
You will rarely have more diversity in terms of landscape in such a short amount of time anywhere else.
Tip: try to opt for the trekking trail on the other side of the river instead of the road, the additional time and effort that this often takes is absolutely worth it!

I had an incredible time during my trek to EBC and Kala Patthar. My trekking guide Ganesh was the best guide you can imagine and was very good experienced. I had an amazing time with him in Nepal. He always felt the right decision and had very good tips all the time. The company "The Classic Outdoors" is also a very good travel company and I can really recommend booking a trek with them. Their coordinator Krittee was helpful all the time and I felt very good prepared for the trek all the time. She gave the right informations and her response via E-Mail was very quick. All the trip was excellent, because everything was very good organized. I can really recommend "The classic outdoors" and if I plan doing a trek in Nepal again I would definetly book with them again. My trek to the EBC (Everest base camp) in Sept 2017 was fully planned and professionally executed by the classic outdoors team in Kathmandu. Thanks to Kritee who was always available to answer my questions during the trek planning stages while I am in Auckland and she is Nepal, different time zones..and thanks to my guide Giri and porter Raeet who were very kind and friendly. Made my EBC trek a memorable one.

I am Already looking forward to my next year's programme of Manaslu trek in Nepal with classic outdoors.
