1. Booking Clarity
You were clearly informed in advance that part of the itinerary was in economy class—specifically on the portion from Los Angeles to Chicago. This was confirmed in your own WhatsApp message where you stated:
"I need the best seats possible flying to Chicago economy."
This confirms that you were aware of the economy segment, and we tailored your options accordingly.
2. Full Itinerary and Approval
Multiple flight options were presented to you in writing (as seen in the email titled “Please choose your preferred flight option”). The complete breakdown was reviewed and approved by you, and all fare rules—including cabin class and baggage allowance—were communicated clearly.
3. Luggage Policy
The baggage allowance was clearly stated across multiple touchpoints: via WhatsApp, over the phone, and in the booking email. The airline’s policy for that fare was 1 piece of 50 lbs per person. Any additional charges for upgrades or excess baggage were in line with airline regulations and outside our control.
4. Timeline and Fare Changes
It’s also important to note that this booking was prepared over the course of a month, starting in October. During this time, we exchanged messages, discussed preferences, and worked to match your desired travel dates—especially considering your fixed Europe cruise departure in May 2025.
Unfortunately, by the time you were ready to confirm, the original one-stop business class itinerary had sold out, and the fare had increased. Although this change was frustrating for both of us, we mutually agreed on the revised itinerary with two stops outbound and one stop on the return.
