For far too long it’s frustrated us that the word ‘treat’ has often been taken out of context. For many the word treat means momentarily straying from sensible thinking, nutritional balance and appropriate ingredients to offer something that produces a fleeting, albeit larger-than-life flavour rush. Many justify this momentary lapse of concentration by telling themselves that treats are a, ‘once in a blue moon,’ slip that brings some much deserved extra joy into their pets’ lives. There are two glaring holes with such thinking: Treats have a tendency to be anything but occasional Treats are perfectly entitled to be good for you We believe that the right treat needn’t be either a guilt trip or a rare occurrence, which is why we only use human-grade, ethically-sourced ingredients. Our hand-baked dog treats offer more than their fair share of ‘flavour joy’ being made from free-range liver and or premium meats, fish, vegetables and non-GMO/irradiated herbs spices and oils all sourced right here in the UK! We never dabble with any dubious, ‘bulking up’ meat or vegetable by-products and stubbornly refuse to add salt, sugar or grim artificial nasties. In other words, we believe in the true dictionary definition of treat: ‘something out of the ordinary that provides real pleasure.’

Superb, Wholesome Dog Treats
Superb dog treats - our little girl, Lady, loved them (she got very excited for the Calm Moments blend, ironically!). We really appreciated the simplicity of the ingredients, too - they felt far more wholesome than many more prominent brands.
I'd love to order more, but the website appears to be down. I hope that it's up and running again soon!

I concur with another recent review as 1 star - there is no reply to emails or telephone calls and whilst they accept your order and advise it’s being processed there is follow up confirmation that it’s been shipped or timescale - I ordered on 8 Feb and still nothing and cannot get any reply to understand the delay cause etc. Have used their service a number of times previously and always had excellent experience so hence why on this occasion I am so disappointed not to have the product but also by the total lack of customer focus

Fantastic!!!
Fantastic customer service! I put in a special request (I'm unfortunately quite picky) and they accommodated it immediately with no questions asked! Order arrived very quickly and just as I wanted it!
Could not be happier! Both dogs adore the treats and we won't be buying anything else!! Recommend them a million times over!!

My dog can’t get enough of them!
Tried these treats as my dog has to have grain free, she is also deaf so I need good quality treats to lure her back! She can’t get enough of them and neither can any other dogs we walk with!
I decided to get a good supply and had fantastic and quick service -they could not have been more helpful! Thank you - we will be ordering again soon - particularly as we get through quite a few treats on a walk now!!!

Totally unresponsive to issues
Don't know how anyone else managed to get a response from these people, but I have an issue with a product I bought weeks ago and there's just no response to my emails. No one answers the phone either. Thought this was supposed to be a decent company according to reviews. Definitely not in my experience. In response to the reply below, which surprise surprise comes as a result of my posting here no one explained that the sticker wasn't in stock or attempted to contact me. Harry rang my mobile in error thinking I was someone he knew and when I explained the situation he said the bakery was very busy and that's why my call had routed to him. He did not advise me of anything else, but said he would arrange for someone to ring me to deal with my issue. No phone call, no response to further emails so no customer service or care. I stand by every word and don't bother sending the sticker as I don't want to be reminded of such a poor company with a stinky attitude

Please accept our apologies for your perceived poor experience. As was explained when we spoke on the phone on 25 February (13:25), your order was received and expedited for delivery ( a jar of treats) in good time. However, the label wasn't able to be affixed due to the fact they were on backorder. You were happy to wait for the label and we promised to send one to you as soon as they were back in stock. We attempted to update you on 29 February to let you know the labels will be back in stock next week and 1 will be posted out to you.
Apologies again and we shall forward your label when it comes into stock in order that you may affix this to your jar as per your request.

Customer service is superb with this company. We had an order that was accidentally delivered to the wrong place but The Dog Treat Company sorted it and replaced it immediately.
Wonderful service is rare these days and so it was much appreciated. The dogs love the delicious healthy treats too.

Can’t recommend this company enough! Dog loves the treats (he’s grain & dairy free) & customer service is outstanding!
I bought originally from our local pet shop but they didn’t have in stock the larger size of treat pack I needed, so ordered online. Fast delivery, great service 😃
Recommended to all my friends & family & wouldn’t hesitate to use regularly.
